TWICE, Stray Kids, And Park Jin Young Invited To Join Grammy Awards’ Recording Academy As Voting Members

The Recording Academy, which is best-known for its annual Grammy Awards, has officially invited TWICE, Stray Kids, and JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin Young to join its ranks!

Last week, the famous American institution revealed that it had extended over 4,000 invitations to “dedicated music creators” and “established music professionals across genres, backgrounds, and disciplines.”

JYP Entertainment has now announced that 18 of its artists—Park Jin Young, the nine members of TWICE, and the eight members of Stray Kids—have been invited to join the Recording Academy as voting members, meaning that they will be eligible to vote for the Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment CEO Jeong Wook and CSO Shin Hyun Kook, who also serves as the CEO of JYP America, have been invited to join as professional members: a type of membership for music executives, managers, publicists, agents, and other team members that work to support music creators.

Formally established in 1957, the Recording Academy held the very first Grammy Awards in 1959. It currently holds the prestigious award ceremony every year to recognize achievements in music, with only its voting members eligible to cast votes and determine which of their peers will be awarded.

Last month, the Recording Academy announced that it would be adding a new Best Asian Pop Music Performance category for the upcoming 2027 Grammy Awards.

“Flex x Cop” Season 2 has unveiled the first stills of Jung Eun Chae in character!

In “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun will reprise his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes. Jung Eun Chae will join the cast as veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

Joo Hye Ra is the “devil instructor” who once gave trainee Jin Yi Soo a hard time during their days at the police academy. Now, she returns as his investigative partner.

In the newly released stills, Jung Eun Chae fully embodies the role of a veteran detective on the violent crimes unit. She effortlessly pulls off a sharply tailored police uniform and a boyish black leather jacket, exuding cool, understated charisma.

The production team said, “The moment we first met Jung Eun Chae, we knew she was Joo Hye Ra herself. “Flex x Cop” Season 2 has shared its first teaser!

In “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun will reprise his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes. Jung Eun Chae will join the cast as veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

The teaser opens with Jin Yi Soo confidently saying, “Now, shall we begin?” Alongside Violent Crimes Unit Team 1 members Park Jun Young (Kang Sang Jun) and Choi Kyung Jin (Kim Shin Bi), with whom he has grown closer than blood relatives, he jets overseas on a luxury private plane to take down criminals.

In this season, Jin Yi Soo continues to show his wealth-driven tactics to bring criminals to justice. At a party, dressed in a tuxedo, he raises a toast and says, “Cheers.” He later says, “I’ll use the helicopter. I need to catch serial killer hunters,” and summons a helicopter. He also engages in a high-speed car chase through the city center in a foreign luxury car.

Most notably, Violent Crimes Unit Team 1 is getting a new team leader. Jin Yi Soo, while preparing a red carpet and flowers to welcome the new boss, is stunned when the new leader arrives on a motorcycle in full police uniform. The newcomer is Joo Hye Ra, a “devil instructor” from his police academy days who once made him tremble in fear. Her strong presence is shown as she throws Jin Yi Soo with a judo technique and swings a police baton with ease, echoing his time at the police academy. When Jin Yi Soo says, “This is a nightmare,” she responds, “This is reality.”

Amid this, an unknown warning arrives: “Detective Jin, let the game begins.” Joo Hye Ra’s line, “Jin Yi Soo, there is someone targeting you with the resolve that it’s okay if you die,” hints at a new crisis facing Jin Yi Soo.

In addition, chaebol Yoo Sung Won (Yoo Seung Ho) makes his first appearance, teasing the role he will play moving forward.

Kim Dae Myeung Is A Respected Academy Director With A Sinister Double Life In “The Husband”

Upcoming drama “The Husband” has unveiled new stills of Kim Dae Myeung in his role as a chilling villain!

“The Husband” is a romance thriller that follows Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), a man who becomes entangled in a desperate fight against a ruthless criminal in order to rescue his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.

Kim Dae Myeung stars as Noh Man Hee, the villain responsible for kidnapping Kang Tae Joo’s wife Go Se Yoon (Lee Seol). On the surface, Noh Man Hee is the kind and well-mannered director of a computer academy who is beloved by both children and elderly residents in the neighborhood. However, he harbors a cruel secret that no one could have anticipated.

Explaining why he chose the project, Kim Dae Myeung shared, “When I first received the script, I was so engrossed that I read it in one sitting. The story had a powerful sense of immersion, and it kept making me curious about what would happen next.”

He continued, “I wanted to play a character with multiple layers and different sides coexisting within one person, and Noh Man Hee was exactly that kind of character. I felt he was someone who couldn’t be easily defined by a single face. Throughout filming, I hoped viewers would also find themselves wondering, ‘Who is this person really?’”

For that reason, Kim Dae Myeung did not approach Noh Man Hee as a straightforward villain. “I thought he could easily come across as a very one-dimensional character,” he explained. “So I constantly tried to understand why Noh Man Hee made these choices and what emotions ultimately led him to his current actions.”

The actor also paid close attention to the character’s appearance. “I wanted him to look like a very neat and ordinary person you might encounter in everyday life, so I often wore shirts and buttoned them all the way up to the collar,” he said. “As the story unfolds over a short period of time and Man Hee gradually changes, I wanted to make that transformation more visible through subtle changes in his appearance as well.”
