Jo Bo Ah In Talks To Replace Lee Chung Ah In New Drama After Car Accident
Jo Bo Ah may be taking over Lee Chung Ah’s role in the upcoming drama “The Obedient Killer” (literal translation).
On October 2, Jo Bo Ah’s agency clarified reports that the actress had been cast as Lee Chung Ah’s replacement by stating, “Jo Bo Ah recently received a casting offer for ‘The Obeident Killer.’ She is currently reviewing the offer.”
Set in the 1970s and 1980s, “The Obedient Killer” tells the story of a woman whose only goal in life was to become a devoted wife and mother. However, after her divorce, she takes an unexpected job in order to make ends meet.
Jo Bo Ah has been offered the role of Lee Hwa Ra, who goes by the code name “Miss Lee.” While Lee Chung Ah was originally cast in the role, she had to step down partway through filming due to a car accident that reportedly aggravated a pre-existing back condition, making it difficult for her to handle the drama’s numerous action scenes.

Lee Chung Ah Injured In Car Accident; Discussing Stepping Down From Drama
Lee Chung Ah may be stepping down from her upcoming drama after being injured in a car accident.
On September 18, Lee Chung Ah’s agency Management SOOP confirmed, “It’s true that Lee Chung Ah was in a car accident.” The agency added, “She is currently discussing stepping down from her drama.”
According to a report by MyDaily, the car accident in question occurred last month, while Lee Chung Ah was on her way to the set of her drama “The Obedient Killer” (literal translation).
Although the accident reportedly aggravated a pre-existing back condition, Lee Chung Ah returned to the set of “The Obedient Killer” and continued filming while undergoing treatment. Due to her strong determination to see the drama through, the actress intended to complete filming while enduring the pain from her injury, but she was advised by a doctor that she needed to minimize movement for at least a month.
While the production team postponed filming Lee Chung Ah’s scenes in order to wait for her recovery, it now appears that it will be difficult for her to resume filming normally soon, and so they are discussing her withdrawal from the drama.

Ha Seok Jin And EXID’s Hani Reunite At Police Station 8 Years After His Accident In “Love On The Menu”
Get ready for an eventful fourth episode of “Love on the Menu”!
KBS 2TV’s “Love on the Menu” is a new drama that tells the story of Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they piece together the fragments of their broken families and create the warmest table of life together.

On the previous episode of “Love on the Menu,” Kim Moo Jin refused to yield to his mother’s ultimatum to break up with Han Gyu Rim, willingly giving up everything and becoming a day laborer to stay with her. However, the episode ended with Kim Moo Jin in danger while carrying cement up the stairs.
Newly released stills from the drama’s next episode show Kim Moo Jin lying unconscious in a hospital room. After hearing about the accident, Han Gyu Rim rushes to the hospital, where she finally sheds the tears she had been holding back.
Notably, Kim Moo Jin’s accident winds up bringing sorrow to both the biological daughter and stepdaughter of Go Yoon Hee (Yoon Yoo Sun). But while Go Yoon Hee comforts her tearful stepdaughter Jang Seo Hyun (Lee Ju Yeon), she fails to recognize her devastated biological daughter Han Gyu Rim as she passes by.
The next set of stills captures the moment when Kim Moo Jin and Han Gyu Rim unexpectedly run into each other at a police station eight years later. As soon as they catch sight of one another, the two of them freeze in shock, and their eyes reveal a mix of complicated emotions.
The “Love on the Menu” production team teased, “The hidden story of how Kim Moo Jin and Han Gyu Rim, whose happiness was shattered due to a sudden accident, reunite at a police station after eight years will draw viewers even further into the drama.”

P.O Suffers Minor Injuries In Car Accident
Block B’s P.O sustained minor injuries after being involved in a car accident in Jeju.
On July 22, a media outlet reported that P.O was hit by a vehicle at around 9:56 p.m. KST on July 19 on a street in Jeju. According to the report, emergency responders transported P.O to the emergency room of a general hospital in Jeju City after receiving the report. He was found to have sustained injuries to his arm and knee. His injuries were not life-threatening and were not considered severe.
The report also stated that P.O was crossing the street when he collided with the vehicle. While police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the accident, the investigation reportedly found no issues involving drunk driving or a traffic signal violation.
Following the report, P.O’s agency Artist Company stated, “P.O recently went to Jeju Island on vacation with acquaintances and was involved in a traffic accident there. Fortunately, he was not seriously injured.”
The agency added, “His injuries are minor, and he is scheduled to participate in filming planned for next week as scheduled.”
Lee Jae Wook, Shin Ye Eun, And More Are Left Shaken by a Devastating Accident In “Doctor On The Edge”
“Doctor on the Edge” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
“Doctor on the Edge” tells the love story of public health doctor Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), who is assigned to the notorious island Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), who is hiding a secret. After crossing paths on a remote island, they embark on a heartwarming journey of saving lives and learning about love as they get to know the island’s residents.
The released stills show Yook Ha Ri suffering from a high fever. In one image, Do Ji Eui is seen holding her in his arms and comforting her. His teary eyes pique curiosity about the situation the two have found themselves in. Viewers are also curious whether this situation will deepen their affection for each other or whether it signifies a crisis that has befallen them.
The next set of images depicts an accident in Pyeondong. Health center medical staff rush to the scene, braving strong winds and heavy rain during the emergency. However, instead of immediately providing treatment, they are seen looking at the scene with devastated expressions, suggesting a serious incident has occurred.
Do Ji Eui appears shocked, while Yook Ha Ri has a sorrowful expression on her face as she sets up a partition. Viewers are curious to find out about the incident that has left the residents in shock, as well as the treatment the medical staff will ultimately administer.
The production team stated, “In the upcoming episode, the characters’ emotions become deeply entangled due to Oh Mi Ja (Gil Hae Yeon’s) choice. Please look forward to seeing the emotional changes both Do Ji Eui, who is facing a deep dilemma between love and his duty as a doctor, and Yook Ha Ri will experience.”

Watch: Lee Jun Young And Son Hyun Joo Swap Souls After A Car Accident In “Reborn Rookie” Preview
JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming first episode!
“Reborn Rookie” tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group. After an accident, he unexpectedly finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.
The newly released preview of the drama’s premiere begins by introducing Hwang Jun Hyun, a promising soccer player who is about to make it big. With success right around the corner, Hwang Jun Hyun happily tells his grandmother during a video call that all her suffering is over. However, his dreams of a better life for his grandmother are immediately dashed when he unexpectedly gets hit by a car.
Believing Kang Yong Ho to be responsible for the accident that injured him, Hwang Jun Hyun tearfully declares, “Because of you, my soccer career is over.” With the chairman being accused of a hit-and-run, protesters swarm the Choi Sung Group building and label Kang Yong Ho a criminal.
While Kang Yong Ho’s youngest daughter Kang Bang Geul (Lee Ju Myoung) asks disbelievingly whether it’s true that her father is responsible for the hit-and-run, his eldest daughter Kang Jae Gyeong (Jeon Hye Jin) and eldest son Kang Jae Seong (Jin Goo) hold a press conference together with Hwang Jun Hyun. Kang Jae Seong points out that all of the evidence points to their father being the culprit, while the ruthless Kang Jae Gyeong remarks, “This is our only opportunity to get our father to step down through legal means.”
After learning what they’re up to, an infuriated Kang Yong Ho yells at his children, “How dare you try to frame your father as a criminal?” He then tosses Hwang Jun Hyun a blank check and arrogantly offers, “If you want to write 10 billion won [approximately $6.63 million], write 10 billion won. I myself am curious to see how much you want.” Hwang Jun Hyun retorts, “And what if I refuse? What if I insist on fighting until the end and destroying Choi Sung? What will you do then?”
However, just as the conflict between the two men seems to be reaching its climax, things take a supernatural turn when an accidental headbutt leads to them swapping souls. After waking up in the young Hwang Jun Hyun’s body, Kang Yong Ho lets out a scream of horror being before cornered by his own daughter, who restrains him and demands, “Who are you?” Unable to voice his thoughts out loud, he silently thinks to himself, “I’m your father!”

tripleS’s ChaeYeon, HaYeon, and Sullin sat out the group’s latest performance after getting into a minor car accident.
On May 13, MODHAUS announced that ChaeYeon, HaYeon, and Sullin had been involved in a minor accident and had been advised by a doctor to “rest and focus on recovery.”
As a result, the three members sat out tripleS’s performance at the UNIST Cultural Exchange Festival, with their bandmates YuBin, Kaede, and ChaeWon taking their place in the lineup instead.
