TWICE’s Sana Confirmed To Make Acting Debut

TWICE’s Sana is set to take on her first acting role!

On July 8, a media outlet reported that Sana will star in the new film “Nyangi” (literal title).

In response to the report, Sana’s agency JYP Entertainment confirmed, “Sana will star as a lead in the film ‘Nyangi.’”

“Nyangi” is a joint Korea-Japan production project, with Japanese actor Satoh Takeru starring as the male lead. With this, Sana takes on her first acting challenge 11 years after her debut.

Shooting is reportedly scheduled to begin in Japan in the second half of this year, and the crew will consist entirely of Korean staff.

Upcoming drama “Love in Sync” has unveiled a new teaser!

“Love in Sync” is a romantic comedy that follows a woman who refuses empathy and a man who carries too much of it. When they begin to share one another’s emotions through a surreal phenomenon, the two gradually come to understand one another and grow together.

The teaser opens with top star Yoo Ji An (Kang Min Ah) admiring her striking beauty while wearing a glamorous dress. However, the moment is short-lived as she snaps during a phone call, saying, “Are you crazy? I was always the center, even when I was an idol.” The teaser then shows a reversal as she breaks down in tears after receiving criticism about her acting on set, signaling both the hidden struggles and unexpected sides behind the seemingly glamorous top star.

Moreover, the warm-hearted and calm psychological counselor Cha Eun Hwan (Kim Myung Soo) is surprised to learn that Yoo Ji An will come to him for counseling. When she arrives with the goal of improving her acting skills, the two meet and begin to form a subtle connection.

At the end of the teaser, the two unexpectedly reunite at a police station. Cha Eun Hwan confronts the woman cornering Yoo Ji An, saying, “No. I’m her counselor,” and coolly steps in to rescue her from a difficult situation. Yoo Ji An’s wavering gaze as she looks at Cha Eun Hwan, who protected her, hints at a shift in their relationship.

Zo In Sung Opens Up On His Approach To Acting

Zo In Sung recently sat down with Arena Homme Plus for a pictorial and interview.

In the interview, he opened up about his approach to his recent activities as an actor. He commented, “Creating something new requires courage. Whether physical or mental, if there is no certain level of discomfort, you eventually end up putting on the same clothes you wore before. New clothes feel uncomfortable, but that discomfort also means you are showing a new side of yourself. The longer an actor has been active, the harder it becomes to find something new. Zo In Sung also spoke about how he still feels nervous every time, despite his long career as an actor. I think it is the same for both newcomers and veterans. If I were to film 50 episodes of ‘Hope,’ it would feel less new. But every project is both the first and the last. Watch: IU, Byeon Woo Seok, And More Impress With Their Passionate Acting In “Perfect Crown”

MBC’s “Perfect Crown” has taken viewers behind the scenes of the drama for episode 9!

The newly released making-of video begins with the actors experimenting with their portrayal, trying different enunciations to convey the gravity of the scene. IU and Byeon Woo Seok also film their hugging scenes multiple times until they perfect their movements smoothly.

Furthermore, despite Jo Jae Yoon’s chilling portrayal of his character, he shows a softer side with the cast, complimenting Gong Seung Yeon and telling IU that he is a fan and attended her concert.

After the scene where IU gets on her knees in tears, Chae Seo An shares, “I teared up slightly,” saying how she held her tears in for the sake of continuity. Lee Jae Won agrees, “My heart ached while watching through the monitor.” Chae Seo An adds that IU cried for all 10 takes.
