TXT, NCT WISH, TWS, &TEAM, PLAVE, ILLIT, DAY6, BLACKPINK, LE SSERAFIM, NEXZ, And More Earn Circle Million And Platinum Certifications
Circle Chart has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.
This month, TXT earned an official million certification for selling over 1 million copies of their latest mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns.”
NCT WISH received two separate certifications for their first full-length album “Ode to Love.” The regular version of the album earned an official million certification for over 1 million copies sold, while the SMC version was certified double platinum for over 500,000 copies sold.
Both TWS’s latest mini album “NO TRAGEDY” and &TEAM’s Japanese EP “We on Fire” also earned million certifications for selling over 1 million copies each.
PLAVE received two certifications for their latest mini album “Caligo Pt.2”: the regular version of the EP was certified triple platinum for over 750,000 copies sold, while the POCA version was certified double platinum for over 500,000 copies sold.
ILLIT also earned separate certifications for two different albums. Their 2025 mini album “bomb” was certified double platinum for over 500,000 copies sold, while their latest mini album “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” was certified platinum for over 250,000 copies.
Meanwhile, NEXZ’s recent single album “Mmchk” and MODYSSEY’s debut single album “1.Got Hooked: An Addictive Symphony” were both certified platinum for selling over 250,000 copies each sold.
Over in the streaming category, DAY6’s 2019 hit “Time of Our Life” was certified double platinum after reaching 200 million streams.
Finally, LE SSERAFIM’s “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife,” BLACKPINK’s “Shut Down,” Park Hyo Shin’s “Goodbye,” and Tei’s “Monologue” were all certified platinum for surpassing 100 million streams each.
CORTIS, &TEAM, NMIXX, BTS, TXT, ILLIT, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, And NewJeans Sweep Top Spots On Billboard World Albums Chart
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on May 30!
CORTIS’s latest EP “GREENGREEN” spent its second consecutive week at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, in addition to becoming the group’s first album to chart for more than one week in the top 30 of the Billboard 200. CORTIS’s debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” also stayed strong at No. 11 in its 37th week on the World Albums chart.
&TEAM’s new EP “We on Fire,” which became their first album ever to enter the Billboard 200 this week, debuted at No. 2 on the World Albums chart.
NMIXX’s new EP “Heavy Serenade” shot to No. 3 in its second week on the World Albums chart, in addition to becoming their fourth entry on the Billboard 200.
BTS once again landed a total of four albums on the World Albums chart this week. “Proof” came in at No. 4 (in its 206th week on the chart), “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” at No. 14 (in its 29th week), “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 16 (in its 217th week), and “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 25 (in its 183rd week).
TXT’s latest mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” took No. 5 in its sixth week on the World Albums chart, followed by ILLIT’s “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” at No. 6 in its third week.
Stray Kids charted three entries on this week’s World Albums chart: “DO IT” at No. 8 (in its 26th week), “KARMA” at No. 22 (in its 39th week), and “ATE” at No. 23 (in its 96th week).
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN landed two albums on the chart: “THE SIN : VANISH” at No. 9 (in its 18th week) and “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” at No. 24 (in its 97th week).
Finally, NewJeans’ 2023 EP “Get Up” ranked No. 17 in its 141st week on the chart.
&TEAM Enters Billboard 200 For 1st Time With “We On Fire”
&TEAM has made their debut on the Billboard 200!
On May 26 local time, Billboard officially announced that &TEAM had entered its Top 200 Albums chart (which ranks the most popular albums in the United States) for the very first time.
For the week ending on May 30, &TEAM’s new EP “We on Fire” debuted at No. 50.
Due to Memorial Day, this week’s full Billboard charts will be updated on Wednesday, May 27 instead of Tuesday.
&TEAM, RIIZE, TXT, And More Earn Platinum And Gold Certifications In Japan
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
This month, &TEAM’s new Japanese EP “We on Fire” earned an official triple platinum certification for over 750,000 units shipped in Japan. According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped and platinum at 250,000.
Meanwhile, RIIZE’s latest Japanese single album “All of You” was certified double platinum for over 500,000 units shipped in Japan.
TXT’s new Korean mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” was certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped in Japan.
Finally, both NiziU’s new Japanese EP “GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU” and aoen’s latest Japanese single album “INSTANT CRUSH” were certified gold for over 100,000 units shipped in Japan each.

&TEAM Breaks 1st-Week Sales Record As “We On Fire” Sells Over 1.2 Million Copies
&TEAM has achieved a career high with their latest comeback!
Last week, &TEAM released their new Japanese EP “We on Fire” and its title track of the same name on April 21. By the end of the day, the EP had already sold over 1 million copies, making it the first Japanese album ever to surpass 1 million sales by Hanteo Chart calculations.
Hanteo Chart has now reported that “We on Fire” went on to sell a total of 1,238,907 copies in the first week of its release (April 21 to 27), breaking &TEAM’s previous first-week sales record of 1,222,022 (set by their Korean debut mini album “Back to Life” last year).
