September Individual Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,735 idols, using big data collected from August 23 to September 23.

RESCENE’s Woni continued her reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 7,859,086, marking a 13.05 percent increase in her score since August. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “superstar” and “Like Woni,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “cute,” “like,” and “root for.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.58 percent positive reactions.

BTS’s Jimin held onto his spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,845,549, marking a 28.20 percent rise in his score since last month.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon shot to third place after seeing a 149.08 percent increase in his brand reputation index, bringing his total score to 6,070,909 for September.

RESCENE’s Zena jumped to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,904,063, marking a 71.61 percent rise in her score since last month.

Finally, BTS’s Jungkook rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 5,148,211, marking a 11.56 percent increase in his score since August.

IVE’s An Yu Jin will participate in the group’s upcoming Hong Kong concert without performing the choreography.

On September 4, STARSHIP Entertainment announced that An Yu Jin will take part in IVE’s upcoming Hong Kong concert without performing the choreography in order to prevent further aggravation of her knee injury and prioritize her health and recovery.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is STARSHIP Entertainment.

We would like to provide an update regarding IVE member An Yu Jin’s participation in upcoming schedules.

To prevent further aggravation of her knee injury and to prioritize her health and recovery, An Yu Jin will participate in the upcoming “SHOW WHAT I AM” concert in Hong Kong without performing the choreography.

We will continue to closely monitor the artist’s condition and make arrangements for her to participate in scheduled activities only to the extent that they do not place undue strain on her.

High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “Pretty Girl” and “oishii,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “sunny,” “likable,” and “pretty.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.47 percent positive reactions.

BTS’s Jimin maintained his position at second place with a brand reputation index of 5,339,944, marking a 10.12 percent rise in his score since last month.

IVE’s Jang Won Young took third place with a brand reputation index of 4,694,131, marking a 15.23 percent increase in her score since July.

IVE’s An Yu Jin To Limit Participation In Today’s Performance Due To Injury

IVE’s An Yu Jin will be limiting her participation in the group’s performance at Caribbean Bay due to an injury.

On August 16, STARSHIP Entertainment announced that An Yu Jin had visited the hospital earlier that day due to knee pain and had been advised to avoid “worsening” her injury.

As a result, An Yu Jin will still be participating in IVE’s performance at Caribbean Bay’s Water Music Pool Party event later today, but she will not be performing choreography.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello. This is STARSHIP Entertainment.

Today, our artist IVE member An Yu Jin experienced discomfort in her knee area and visited the hospital, where she received medical treatment.

In accordance with the doctor’s opinion, in order to prevent a worsening of her injury, she will participate in [IVE’s] performance at the event scheduled for today without performing choreography.

For her future schedule and activities as well, we will carefully check the state of the member’s health and proceed only to the extent of not causing strain.

July Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 735 girl group members, using big data collected from June 19 to July 19.

RESCENE’s Woni topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 7,962,989, marking an 89.84 percent increase in her score since June. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “LOVE ATTACK,” “Lee Sun Min,” and “Pretty Girl,” while her positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.26 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, IVE’s Jang Won Young came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 7,490,203 for July.

aespa’s Karina took third place with a brand reputation index of 5,618,919, marking an 18.63 percent increase in her score since last month.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie ranked fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,984,751, while RESCENE’s Minami followed close behind in fifth with a score of 4,899,662.
