July Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 735 girl group members, using big data collected from June 19 to July 19.

RESCENE’s Woni topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 7,962,989, marking an 89.84 percent increase in her score since June. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “LOVE ATTACK,” “Lee Sun Min,” and “Pretty Girl,” while her positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.26 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, IVE’s Jang Won Young came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 7,490,203 for July.

aespa’s Karina took third place with a brand reputation index of 5,618,919, marking an 18.63 percent increase in her score since last month.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie ranked fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,984,751, while RESCENE’s Minami followed close behind in fifth with a score of 4,899,662.

Lee Eun Ji, Mimi, Lee Young Ji, and An Yu Jin are reuniting for tvN’s new variety show “Space Rice Cake”!

“Space Rice Cake” is a spin-off born from a punishment in “Earth Arcade 2.” After failing an escape room mission prepared by Torong, Lee Eun Ji, Mimi, Lee Young Ji, and An Yu Jin must work together at a rice cake shop.

The newly released poster features the four members who have just opened “Space Rice Cake” in Goheung. Featuring the slogan “Freshly made rice cakes for sale!” alongside an image of chewy garaetteok (long cylindrical rice cakes) and a retro-inspired design, the poster creates a warm and nostalgic atmosphere.

Adding to the fun is the tagline, “The shop may be full of burnout, but we’ll do our best to make sure our customers’ taste buds aren’t affected,” teasing the members’ chaotic adventures and signature teamwork as first-time rice cake shop employees.

The teaser opens with the bustling kitchen of “Space Rice Cake,” where the members begin making rice cakes as early as 5 a.m. Thick white steam quickly fills the kitchen, making it difficult to even see the members as they work.

The production staff then tells Lee Young Ji, who is serving as the head chef, “Young Ji, there’s still one thing you haven’t done.” However, neither she nor the other members can figure out what they’re referring to. Young Ji eventually realizes she forgot to turn on the ventilation fan and hurriedly switches it on, teasing the members’ adorably clumsy moments as they adjust to life working at the rice cake shop.

June Individual Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,735 idols, using big data collected from May 24 to June 24.

BTS’s Jimin continued his reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 7,663,023. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Busan concert,” and “13th anniversary,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “together,” “reciprocate,” and “invite.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.53 percent positive reactions.

Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon took second place with a brand reputation index of 7,235,084, marking a 12.49 percent increase in his score since May.

Meanwhile, BTS’s V rose to third place with a brand reputation index of 6,011,438 for June.

BTS’s Jungkook came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,631,360, and his bandmate Jin rounded out the top five with a score of 5,329,750.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual girl group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 730 girl group members, using big data collected from April 17 to May 17.

IVE’s Jang Won Young held onto her spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 6,715,647 for May. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “BANG BANG,” “Lucky Vicky,” and “Wonyoung-esque mindset,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “sexy,” “advertise,” and “model.” Jang Won Young’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.53 percent positive reactions.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie maintained her position at second place with a brand reputation index of 4,745,164, while aespa’s Karina held steady at third place with a score of 4,487,074.

IVE’s An Yu Jin rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,359,321, marking a 1.58 percent increase in her score since April.

BTS’s Jimin came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 9,187,795, marking a 20.45 percent increase in his score since last month.

BTS’s Jungkook shot to third place after seeing a whopping 174.83 percent rise in his brand reputation index, bringing his total score for the month to 8,333,406.

BTS’s V held onto his spot at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 7,876,522, marking a 41.01 percent increase in his score since last month.

Finally, IVE’s Jang Won Young rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 7,161,255, marking a 14.41 percent rise in her score.
