&TEAM, RIIZE, TXT, And More Earn Platinum And Gold Certifications In Japan
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
This month, &TEAM’s new Japanese EP “We on Fire” earned an official triple platinum certification for over 750,000 units shipped in Japan. According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped and platinum at 250,000.
Meanwhile, RIIZE’s latest Japanese single album “All of You” was certified double platinum for over 500,000 units shipped in Japan.
TXT’s new Korean mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” was certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped in Japan.
Finally, both NiziU’s new Japanese EP “GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU” and aoen’s latest Japanese single album “INSTANT CRUSH” were certified gold for over 100,000 units shipped in Japan each.

Winners Of The Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) 2026 Day 1
The Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) 2026 kicked off tonight!
On May 16, the third annual Asia Star Entertainer Awards held the first night of its ceremony at the Belluna Dome in Japan.
ENHYPEN won a total of three awards, including two Daesangs (Grand Prizes). In addition to winning Artist of the Year and Album of the Year (for “DESIRE : UNLEASH”), the group also won The Platinum (a Bonsang).

Monthly Album Chart
TXT achieved a double crown on this month’s Circle charts, topping both the overall physical album chart and the digital download chart for April.
All of the top five spots on this month’s chart went to new releases, led by TXT’s latest mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns,” which debuted at No. 1.
NCT WISH’s “Ode to Love” entered the chart at No. 2, &TEAM’s “We on Fire” at No. 3, TWS’s “NO TRAGEDY” at No. 4, and PLAVE’s “Caligo Pt.2” at No. 5.
Weekly Album Chart
TWS topped the weekly physical album chart with their new mini album “NO TRAGEDY,” while ILLIT’s “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” entered the chart at No. 2.
NEXZ’s “Mmchk” debuted at No. 3 on this week’s chart, followed by CRAVITY’s “ReDeFINE” at No. 4 and QWER’s “CEREMONY” at No. 5.
Monthly Download Chart
TXT topped the digital download chart for April with their latest title track “Stick With You,” which debuted at No. 1.
The next two spots on the monthly chart went to AKMU: the duo’s title track “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart” debuted at No. 2, while their hit B-side “Paradise of Rumors” entered the chart at No. 3.
PLAVE swept the next two spots on the chart, where “Born Savage” and “HMPH!” (featuring SOLE) debuted at No. 4 and No. 5.

NEXZ topped this week’s digital download chart with their new single “Mmchk,” while CRAVITY’s “AWAKE” debuted at No. 2.

BTS also achieved a double crown on the monthly charts, topping both the global K-pop chart and the social chart.
BTS dominated the global K-pop chart for April, sweeping four of this month’s top five spots. “SWIM” rose to No. 1, followed by “2.0” at No. 3, “Body to Body” at No. 4, and “Hooligan” at No. 5.
Meanwhile, HUNTR/X’s “Golden” from the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack stayed strong at No. 2.

Album Chart
NCT WISH claimed two of the top five spots on this week’s physical album chart with their first full-length album “Ode to Love.” The regular version of the album debuted at No. 1, while the SMC version charted separately at No. 3.
&TEAM’s new EP “We on Fire” entered the chart at No. 2, while EVNNE’s new single album “Backtalk” debuted at No. 4.

&TEAM Breaks 1st-Week Sales Record As “We On Fire” Sells Over 1.2 Million Copies
&TEAM has achieved a career high with their latest comeback!
Last week, &TEAM released their new Japanese EP “We on Fire” and its title track of the same name on April 21. By the end of the day, the EP had already sold over 1 million copies, making it the first Japanese album ever to surpass 1 million sales by Hanteo Chart calculations.
Hanteo Chart has now reported that “We on Fire” went on to sell a total of 1,238,907 copies in the first week of its release (April 21 to 27), breaking &TEAM’s previous first-week sales record of 1,222,022 (set by their Korean debut mini album “Back to Life” last year).
