BTS will be appearing at the 2026 American Music Awards (AMAs)!
On May 20, the American Music Awards officially announced that BTS would be making a special live appearance at this year’s ceremony.
The group is nominated for three awards this year: Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer (for their latest hit “SWIM”), and Best Male K-Pop Artist.
The 2026 American Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas on May 25 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT).

IVE’s Jang Won Young To Host 2026 Asia Artist Awards
Jang Won Young will be hosting the Asia Artist Awards once again this year!
On May 19, the organizers of the 2026 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) officially announced that IVE’s Jang Won Young has been selected as the MC for the award show, which will be held over two days, from December 5 to 6, at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Taiwan. This marks Jang Won Young’s sixth consecutive year hosting the show.
Having graced the awards ceremony each year with her impressive hosting skills, witty reactions, and stunning visuals, expectations are high that she will once again captivate global fans with her performance this year. Song Joong Ki Announced As Presenter For 35th Seoul Music Awards
Song Joong Ki will be partaking in this year’s Seoul Music Awards!
On May 18, the 35th Seoul Music Awards announced that Song Joong Ki will be attending the ceremony as a presenter. The announcement further shares that more presenters will be revealed soon.
Having impressed in countless hits including “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” “Tree With Deep Roots,” “Descendants of the Sun,” “Vincenzo,” “Reborn Rich,” “My Youth,” and more, Song Joong Ki is currently gearing up for his next project “Love Cloud” (literal title).
Previously, it was announced that SUPER JUNIOR’s Leeteuk and KiiiKiii’s Leeseol will be hosting the ceremony, which will take place on June 20 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon.

On May 17, the third annual Asia Star Entertainer Awards held the second night of its ceremony at the Belluna Dome in Japan.

The KMA (KM Chart Awards) 2026 has revealed its first lineup of artists!
On May 11, the KMA 2026 officially announced that TXT, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, KickFlip, LNGSHOT, 82MAJOR, and VVUP would all be performing at the upcoming awards ceremony.
The KMA 2026 will be held on July 25 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Tiger Dome in Seoul.
Choo Young Woo’s Agency Explains His Eye Injury After Baeksang Arts Awards
Choo Young Woo’s agency has addressed his eye injury following his appearance at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
On May 8, Choo Young Woo appeared as a presenter at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards while wearing a bandage affixed with medical tape over one eye.
The following morning, Choo Young Woo’s agency J,WIDE-COMPANY explained, “He sustained a minor injury to his eye while exercising, but there are no major issues with his health. He plans to carry out his schedule to the extent where it does not cause any undue strain.”

The winners have been announced for the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards!
Hosted by Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, and Park Bo Gum, this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony was held on May 8 at COEX in Seoul. Established in 1965, the Baeksang Arts Awards are widely recognized as one of South Korea’s most prestigious honors in television and film.
The Grand Prize in the broadcast category went to Ryu Seung Ryong of “The Dream Life of Mr. Kim,” while Yoo Hae Jin of “The King’s Warden” won the Grand Prize in the movie category.
