“The Legend Of Kitchen Soldier” And “The Scarecrow” Are Neck And Neck In Monday Ratings Battle
The ratings race for Monday-Tuesday dramas is fiercer than ever!
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 3 of tvN’s “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” rose to an average nationwide viewership rating of 7.2 percent. This is a 1.0 percent boost from last week’s rating of 6.2 percent, marking the drama’s new personal best for the third episode in a row.
Meanwhile, episode 9 of ENA’s “The Scarecrow” garnered an average nationwide rating of 7.2 percent, seeing a 0.2 percent dip from its previous episode’s personal best score of 7.4 percent.

Lee Jun Young, Lee Ju Myoung, Jeon Hye Jin, And Jin Goo Are Caught In A Family Succession Battle In “Reborn Rookie” Poster
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Reborn Rookie” has unveiled a new poster!
“Reborn Rookie” follows Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of the leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group, who is revered as a business genius. After an accident, however, he unexpectedly finds himself living a second life when his soul swaps into the youthful body of a soccer player named Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.
Kang Yong Ho takes over the body of Hwang Jun Hyun, a soccer player in his 20s, and joins Choi Sung Group as a new employee. Now in Hwang Jun Hyun’s body, he reunites at the company with his youngest daughter, Kang Bang Geul (Lee Ju Myoung), whom he had previously sent abroad for studies, as a colleague. He also meets his eldest daughter, Kang Jae Kyung (Jeon Hye Jin), and his eldest son, Kang Jae Sung (Jin Goo), both of whom are now his supervisors at work.
The poster shows members of the Choi Sung family gathered in one place. In a tense atmosphere, each family member holds a nameplate that reads “Chairman Kang Yong Ho,” hinting at their ambitions and hidden motives in the group’s succession.
Among the expressionless family members, Hwang Jun Hyun stands out with a smile. The image builds tension by suggesting Kang Yong Ho’s plan to disrupt the situation while keeping a secret unknown even to his own children.
The different moods of each character also add interest. Kang Bang Geul partially covers her nameplate while giving a meaningful look, while Kang Jae Kyung clearly displays her nameplate, showing a personality that does not hide ambition. In contrast, Kang Jae Sung leans back in a chair, standing out with a relaxed attitude that suggests he is at the center of the succession battle.
The phrase “There is only one position, a fierce battle begins” foreshadows a fierce succession battle within the Choi Sung family.
Kang Yong Ho sees his children as rivals, while the three of them view Kang Yong Ho, now in Hwang Jun Hyun’s body, as only a suspicious new employee. It remains to be seen what story will unfold amid these different perspectives.
“Reborn Rookie” is set to premiere on May 30 at 10:40 p.m. KST.

Heo Nam Jun And Jang Seung Jo Clash In Chaebol Succession Battle In “My Royal Nemesis”
Get ready for a fierce succession battle between Heo Nam Jun and Jang Seung Jo in SBS’s upcoming drama “My Royal Nemesis”!
“My Royal Nemesis” is a romantic comedy starring Lim Ji Yeon as Shin Seo Ri, a struggling actress who is suddenly possessed by the spirit of a notorious villainess from the Joseon era. Heo Nam Jun will star as Cha Se Gye, a ruthless chaebol heir who is known as a “monster created by capitalism.”
In the drama, Cha Se Gye is the grandson of Cha-il Group chairman Cha Dal Soo (Yoon Joo Sang). However, instead of working for one of Cha-il Group’s subsidiary companies, he runs an independent business of his own.
Jang Seung Jo will play the role of Choi Moon Do, the CEO of Cha-il Construction. As the nephew of chairman Cha Dal Soo, Choi Moon Do is an ambitious man who dreams of one day becoming the chairman of Cha-il Group himself.
Not only are Cha Se Gye and Choi Moon Do inevitably set to face off in a cutthroat succession battle, but they also wind up clashing over Shin Seo Ri, with whom both men form unexpected connections in order to achieve their respective goals.
Newly released stills from the upcoming drama capture a tense confrontation between Cha Se Gye and Choi Moon Do. With no familial warmth to be found between the two men, the tension is palpable as they stare each other down in Choi Moon Do’s office late at night. While Cha Se Gye’s hardened expression suggests that he is barely holding in his rage, Choi Moon Do wears a relaxed but chilling smile as he responds to his angry rival.

“Gold Land” has shared a more in-depth look at its intriguing characters!
“Gold Land” follows Hee Joo (Park Bo Young), a security screening officer at an international airport who unexpectedly comes into possession of gold bars tied to an illegal smuggling ring. As those around her become consumed by greed and betrayal, Hee Joo is drawn into a dangerous battle—not just with others, but with her own growing desire to keep the gold.
The character teaser introduces each of the main players in a battle to take the gold. Kim Hee Joo, a conflicted individual, claims, “I have the gold bars—it’s mine.” She asks, “If it doesn’t belong to anyone, why can’t I have it?” adding, “If I can just have this, I can do anything, and I also don’t have to do anything.”
Kim Sung Cheol plays Woo Gi, who finds out Hee Joo possesses smuggled gold and deliberately approaches her while eyeing the gold. He urges, “I’m here to help you,” making a promise with Kim Hee Joo. However, he gradually becomes violent as a man “honest in the face of desires.”
Lee Hyun Wook transforms into Lee Do Kyung, Kim Hee Joo’s lover and the catalyst of the incident. He tells Hee Joo, “Let’s change all the gold bars into cash and leave here.” He adds, “Trust me, and please do as I say.”
Lee Kwang Soo portrays Director Park, who promises to retrieve the casket with the gold bars, showing that he’s not afraid to use violent means to do so.
Corrupt police officer Kim Jin Man, portrayed by Kim Hee Won, shows an unexpected side as he wavers in the sight of gold. Finally, Moon Jung Hee, portraying Hee Joo’s mother, shows the dangerous results of greed.
