Kim Young Kwang And Chae Soo Bin’s Unique Conditions Bring Them Together In “Take Charge Of My Heart”

Netflix’s upcoming rom-com “Take Charge of My Heart” has unveiled new stills featuring Kim Young Kwang and Chae Soo Bin!

Based on the web novel of the same name, “Take Charge of My Heart” is an electrifying romantic comedy about a man whose artificial heart is running out of battery and a woman with the unique power to recharge him. Kim Young Kwang stars as the cool and collected Baek Ho Rang, while Chae Soo Bin plays the lovely Na Bo Bae.

In the stills, Kim Young Kwang transforms into Baek Ho Rang, the third-generation heir to a chaebol family. As an executive director leading TS Resort, Baek Ho Rang is a perfectionist workaholic who excels at handling any task assigned to him. With his relaxed demeanor and striking appearance, he is the picture of a perfect man who naturally draws people’s attention.

However, Baek Ho Rang’s expression is filled with confusion when he comes face-to-face with Na Bo Bae. What could have happened to make Baek Ho Rang’s artificial heart race?

Chae Soo Bin captures attention with her lovable charm as she transforms into drama writer Na Bo Bae. Her cute appearance and refreshing smile are the very definition of “lovely,” but Na Bo Bae has lived her entire life as a single woman because of her electric ability, which causes anyone she touches to get shocked. Then one day, she happens to meet Baek Ho Rang, who is immune to her electric powers.

Suddenly, Na Bo Bae gets the perfect opportunity to turn the “romance bucket list” she had only ever dreamed of into reality. With her eyes tightly closed as if lost in a sweet fantasy, it remains to be seen whether Na Bo Bae will be able to complete her romance script and charge up some real-life excitement as well.

Kim Young Kwang shared, “‘Take Charge of My Heart’ is a comic-book-like romance with the unique premise of an artificial heart running out of power and being recharged through physical contact. I was drawn to the pure-romance, comic-like premise and atmosphere, which ultimately convinced me to join the project.”

He also shared that he paid close attention to his styling to bring his character to life, adding, “I think viewers will have fun seeing how his style changes depending on the situation and atmosphere.”

Regarding his chemistry with Chae Soo Bin, he said, “We had so much fun filming that there was hardly a moment when we weren’t laughing. Chae Soo Bin did such a natural job with the romantic comedy that it was much more comfortable for me to approach the role as well.”

Chae Soo Bin described “Take Charge of My Heart” as “a project that takes the familiar appeal unique to romantic comedies and charges it with our own lovable charm.”

She also explained how she approached the character, saying, “I wanted to show Bo Bae’s tendency to avoid causing inconvenience to others because of her electric ability, whether by covering herself from head to toe or wearing only one glove. I also expressed the premise that static electricity occurs through her curly hair. ‘Take Charge of My Heart’ is a project with a charm that makes viewers smile. I hope it remains a ‘tingling’ project for everyone who watches it.”

“Take Charge of My Heart” is set to be released on October 9. Stay tuned!

Watch: Hyun Bin’s Destructive Pursuit Of Power Ignites A Dangerous Battle In “Made In Korea 2” Teaser

“Made in Korea 2” has unveiled its main poster and teaser!

The first season of “Made in Korea” followed Baek Ki Tae (Hyun Bin), a man driven by ambition for wealth and power, and prosecutor Jang Geon Young (Jung Woo Sung), who sacrificed everything to stop him, as they confronted a monumental event in the turbulent 1970s.

“Made in Korea 2,” set nine years after the Season 1 finale, follows Baek Ki Tae, now at the peak of power; Jang Geon Young, who has been preparing a counterattack; and Baek Ki Hyun (Woo Do Hwan), who is pursuing a different path to power from his older brother. Their ambitions spiral out of control, shaking things up and creating an irreversible rift.

The newly released main poster centers on Baek Ki Tae, who wields a rifle against a backdrop resembling a battlefield. Surrounding him are characters driven by their own desires and ambitions, including Jang Geon Young, who returns with a more cold and calculating demeanor than nine years ago; Baek Ki Hyun, who finds himself torn between his older brother Baek Ki Tae and Jang Geon Young; Oh Ye Jin (Seo Eun Soo); Ikeda Yuji (Won Ji An); Cheon Seok Jung (Jung Sung Il); Pyo Hak Soo (Roh Jae Won); and Baek So Young (Cha Hee).

They are joined by the newly introduced mysterious character Madam Shin (Jang Hye Jin) and Hwang Dae Sik (Heo Jung Do), the head of the military, foreshadowing a complex web of conflicting interests and fierce confrontations.

The tagline, “A single moment’s choice can change history,” further raises anticipation for the unpredictable decisions that will shake up the balance of power and the enormous consequences that follow.

The newly released main trailer previews a head-on clash between Baek Ki Tae, who seizes the opportunity created by the absence of the country’s highest authority on October 26, 1979, to secure the position of acting director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA), and the military forces led by Hwang Dae Sik, who stand against the KCIA.

An ambitious Baek Ki Tae then makes a cryptic proposal to Cheon Seok Jung, asking, “Would you like to cross the Han River bridge with me?” Cheon Seok Jung, who has joined forces with Baek Ki Tae, responds, “From now on, I’m going to trust only you.” As tensions between the KCIA and the military escalate, Jang Geon Young hints at his counterattack with the ominous remark, “Baek Ki Tae, you think this will last forever, don’t you?”

The trailer then cuts between a series of tense moments, including Oh Ye Jin interrogating Ikeda Yuji and Baek Ki Tae firing a barrage of bullets while declaring, “I’ll personally put an end to Hwang Dae Sik.” The conflict grows increasingly intense, culminating in the chilling line, “Whether you die, I die, or we both die,” hinting at a confrontation with no clear end in sight.

The main trailer concludes with Baek Ki Tae appearing to suppress his anger, heightening curiosity over what consequences his destructive pursuit of the pinnacle of power in the name of patriotism will ultimately bring.

Watch the trailer below:

With a total of six episodes, “Made in Korea 2” will premiere with episodes 1 and 2 on September 9, followed by two episodes released every Wednesday.

4 Points To Keep An Eye On In Ahn Hyo Seop And Chae Won Bin’s New Drama “Sold Out On You”

Get ready for the premiere of SBS’s upcoming drama “Sold Out on You”!

Ahead of the drama’s premiere, “Sold Out on You” shared four key points to keep an eye on!

1. Ahn Hyo Seop returns to romantic comedy

“Sold Out on You” is drawing attention as the next project for Ahn Hyo Seop, often called “SBS’s son,” following a string of hits including the “Dr. Romantic” series, “Business Proposal,” and “Lovers of the Red Sky.”

After rising to global romantic comedy fame through “Business Proposal,” anticipation is building for Ahn Hyo Seop’s next rom-com. He is set to capture the hearts of viewers in South Korea and around the world as Matthew Lee, a character who appears cold on the outside but is warm and tender inside.

2. Cross-generational synergy between Chae Won Bin, Kim Bum, and Go Doo Shim

Chae Won Bin is taking on her first romantic comedy as Dam Ye Jin, starring alongside Ahn Hyo Seop and showing a new, lovable energy that is different from her past roles.

Kim Bum, who has consistently delivered strong performances across genres and continues to add standout roles to his career, also joins the cast as Seo Eric, along with veteran actress Go Doo Shim, who brings decades of experience as Mrs. Song Hak. Together, they are expected to create strong cross-generational synergy.

In addition, interest is growing in the ensemble cast portraying the residents of Deokpung Village, the drama’s main setting, as well as employees of a hit home shopping company that help enrich the story.

3. A bickering romance between two people carrying hidden pain

In the series, Matthew Lee is a young farmer in Deokpung Village and the world’s only known cultivator of white flower nuri mushrooms. Dam Ye Jin travels to the village to obtain the mushrooms from him, but their first meeting goes badly, leaving them in a tense relationship.

Each time they meet, they clash, but they slowly come to understand each other’s hidden wounds. As they offer comfort, they begin to open up and grow closer.

What starts as constant bickering eventually turns into mutual support. The evolving relationship between Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin is expected to deliver both heart-fluttering romance and emotional comfort to viewers.

4. The combination of healing and sitcom-style humor

The drama offers a sense of healing for modern people exhausted by their daily struggles, moving between two settings: the gray city and a green countryside.

In particular, Deokpung Village, where Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin meet and begin their romance, features wide open green fields not found in the city, along with distinctive villagers. This combination brings lighthearted humor to the story.

Above all, director Ahn Jong Yeon, who previously showed a distinct sense of humor in “Seoul Busters,” brings his signature playful direction. The result is expected to deliver not only a romantic comedy but also sitcom-like entertainment.

“Sold Out on You” will premiere on April 22 at 9 p.m. KST.

Watch: Ahn Hyo Seop And Chae Won Bin’s Business Encounter Blossoms Into Romance In “Sold Out On You” Highlight Teaser

SBS’s upcoming drama “Sold Out on You” has unveiled a new highlight teaser!

The highlight video features a guide to life in Deokpung Village, along with the warm, healing romance between Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin.

The video introduces the daily lives of Deokpung Village’s well-known figure Matthew Lee, also called “Mechoori” (“Quail”), and top home shopping host Dam Ye Jin. Matthew Lee moves through the village responding to residents’ calls for “Mechoori” and handling complaints across the area, while Dam Ye Jin shows strong drive as she works to sell out products, even going so far as to visit high-rise buildings.

Despite her consistent success in driving sellouts, Dam Ye Jin still struggles to secure a weekend prime-time slot. Because of this, she focuses on landing a placement for L’Étoile, a global skincare brand led by Seo Eric (Kim Bum), seeing it as her only chance to reach the prime-time stage.

The video also shares helpful tips from Matthew Lee for visitors like Dam Ye Jin visiting Deokpung Village: first, that the single path running through the center of the village leads outward; second, that everyone is welcome, even outsiders, so there is no need to be afraid; and finally, that in Deokpung, people should eat and sleep well.

The teaser takes a turn as an emotional shift begins between the two, marking a change from their earlier interactions. As they spend more time together in the village, their dynamic gradually softens and they begin to grow closer. At the end of the video, Matthew Lee comforts her, saying, “Let me stay over. Let’s sleep together,” marking a turning point in their growing closeness.
