KBS 2TV’s “The Husband” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
“The Husband” is a new thriller starring Namkoong Min as a man on the brink of divorce who unexpectedly becomes embroiled in a desperate fight with a dangerous criminal in order to rescue his wife.
The newly released photos capture Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min) and his wife Go Se Yoon (Lee Seol) celebrating their daughter’s birthday together. Surrounded by balloons, flowers, and a birthday cake, Kang Tae Joo and Go Se Yoon smile brightly as they kiss their daughter on both cheeks. Kang Tae Joo also records the precious moment on his phone, highlighting his deep affection as a father. The warm, loving atmosphere stands in stark contrast to the tense conflict between the couple in the present, raising curiosity about the tragic events that drove them apart.
Viewers are left wondering what happened to this once-happy family and whether Kang Tae Joo will be able to save Go Se Yoon and repair their fractured relationship.

ENHYPEN’s Sunoo Makes Meaningful Birthday Donation To Pediatric And Adolescent Patients
ENHYPEN’s Sunoo filled his birthday with acts of sharing!
According to Samsung Medical Center on June 24, Sunoo donated 50 million won (approximately $32,500) on this day to support the treatment of pediatric patients. With this donation, the cumulative amount he has contributed to the hospital since 2024 has reached 200 million won (approximately $130,250).
Sunoo remarked, “I hope that many pediatric patients can look forward to a more hopeful future. I will continue to participate in sharing love in the future.”
In December 2024, Sunoo quietly donated 100 million won (approximately $68,000) to Samsung Medical Center in order to help patients in need struggling to receive medical treatment due to financial difficulties. Then on December 19 last year, he once again donated 50 million won to the hospital which will go toward psychological and emotional support programs for pediatric and adolescent patients.
ENHYPEN is set to release their eighth mini album “THE SIN : BLISS” on August 21.
TWICE’s Dahyun Makes Meaningful Birthday Donation To Help Leukemia Patients
TWICE’s Dahyun is celebrating her birthday by giving back!
On June 1, JYP Entertainment announced that Dahyun donated 30 million won (approximately $20,000) to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea in honor of her birthday on May 28.
The donation will go toward medical expenses and treatment support for leukemia patients in the Ulsan area who are facing financial hardship.
Sharing the reason behind her donation, Dahyun said, “I wanted to share the love I have received on my birthday with others. I hope my contribution can provide even a small source of strength and comfort to those currently undergoing treatment.”

IU celebrated his birthday by making no less than five generous donations!
On May 16, EDAM Entertainment announced that the star had donated a total of 300 million won (approximately $200,283) under the name “IUAENA” (a combination of “IU” and “UAENA,” the name of her official fan club) for her 33rd birthday.
IU donated 100 million won (approximately $66,761) to Asan Medical Center and 50 million won (approximately $33,381) each to the Walking With Us Children’s Foundation, Milk Delivery to Check on the Elderly, the Korean Unwed Mothers’ Families Association, and Walk Together.
IU’s donations will go towards helping patients suffering from financial hardship, education and cultural support for young children and adolescents, elderly individuals who live alone, single-parent families in need, and assistive devices for people with disabilities.

MBC’s upcoming drama “Perfect Crown” has shared a glimpse of its first episode!
Set in an alternate universe where modern-day Korea is a constitutional monarchy, “Perfect Crown” tells the love story of Seong Hui Ju (IU), a chaebol heiress who has everything but is only a commoner in status, and Grand Prince Ian (Byeon Woo Seok), a prince who has nothing despite being the son of the king.
In Episode 1, as the nation’s prominent figures all gather to celebrate the king’s birthday, a face-to-face meeting takes place between chaebol heiress Seong Hui Ju and royal family member Grand Prince Ian.
Seong Hui Ju, the CEO of Castle Beauty, gets to set foot in the king’s birthday banquet for the first time despite the social limitations of being a commoner and of illegitimate birth. Determined to make her presence known through the major event that is the banquet, Seong Hui Ju breaks a royal taboo—that red is not worn in the palace—and chooses a bold red suit, drawing the attention of everyone there, including Grand Prince Ian.
In the newly released photos, Seong Hui Ju and Grand Prince Ian are shown crossing paths at the king’s birthday banquet. As the banquet’s highlight—the nakhwa performance (Korean traditional fireworks)—gets underway, their eyes begin to meet by chance, raising curiosity about what Seong Hui Ju and Grand Prince Ian might be thinking as they watch the spectacle.
