“Agent Kim Reactivated” Ratings Break 15 Percent In 2 Episodes, Making It Fastest Drama In 5 Years To Do So

SBS’s “Agent Kim Reactivated” is gaining steam at breakneck speed!

After kicking off on the highest premiere ratings of any miniseries in 2026, the new revenge drama starring So Ji Sub continued to soar to new heights with its second episode, which was the most-watched show of any kind to air on June 27.

According to Nielsen Korea, “Agent Kim Reactivated” jumped to an average nationwide rating of 15.7 percent for its second episode, breaking the record for the highest ratings achieved by any SBS drama in 2026.

“Agent Kim Reactivated” has also become the fastest drama on any channel to surpass 15 percent in viewership ratings since “The Penthouse 3” five years ago.

Additionally, “Agent Kim Reactivated” was the most-watched program of the entire week among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average rating of 5.8 percent.

MBC’s “Fifties Professionals,” which airs in the same time slot, ended on an average nationwide rating of 5.0 percent for its series finale.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” earned its highest ratings to date for a Saturday (when its ratings have generally been lower compared to Sundays). The latest episode of the hit drama scored an average nationwide rating of 10.4 percent.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Recipe for Love” scored an average nationwide rating of 14.4 percent for the night.

Hearts2Hearts is already soaring to new heights with their latest comeback!

On June 22, the rookie girl group from SM Entertainment made their highly-anticipated return with their new mini album “Lemon Tang” and its upbeat title track of the same name.

According to Hanteo Chart, by the end of June 23, “Lemon Tang” had already sold an impressive total of 440,895 copies. In less than two days, the mini album has already managed to break Hearts2Hearts’ previous first-week sales record of 425,146 set by their first mini album “FOCUS” last year.

“Reborn Rookie” Ratings Break Into Double Digits For New All-Time High

Viewership ratings for JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” have broken into the double digits!

On June 21, the popular drama achieved the highest viewership ratings of its run to date. According to Nielsen Korea, “Reborn Rookie” soared to an average nationwide rating of 11.0 percent, marking a jump of over 2 full percentage points from its previous episode the night before.

Not only was “Reborn Rookie” the most-watched show of any kind to air on cable on Sunday, but it was also the most-watched cable program of the entire week.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “Recipe for Love” remained the most-watched show of Sunday overall with an average nationwide rating of 15.9 percent.

TWS’s “NO TRAGEDY” Takes Just 1 Day To Break Their Previous Album’s Total Sales Record

It took TWS just one day to smash their personal sales record with their latest release!

On April 27, TWS made their return with their new mini album “NO TRAGEDY” and its upbeat title track “You, You.”

According to Hanteo Chart, “NO TRAGEDY” sold an impressive total of 833,138 copies on its first day of sales alone—managing to surpass the total sales record of TWS’s previous mini album “play hard” (which had sold a total of approximately 740,000 albums as of last month) within just one day.

With the rest of the week still left to go, it remains to be seen just how much higher TWS’s first-week sales record will climb by the end of May 3.

Meanwhile, three of TWS’s new songs from “NO TRAGEDY” entered Melon’s Top 100: their title track “You, You” (which had reached a peak of No. 55 by midnight KST on April 28), along with B-sides “All the Possibilities” (No. 75) and “Why You So Bad?” (No. 100).

The Rose Announces Temporary Break Following New Album And Tour

The Rose will be going on a temporary break after releasing a new album and going on a 10th-anniversary tour.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the band announced that they planned to take a break “not as an ending, but as a moment to breathe… to grow… and to find ourselves again, individually. So that one day, we can come back to you with even more to give.”

The Rose also revealed their plans for a new album and tour entitled “ROSE” and “ROSETOPIA” respectively. Ahead of the release of “ROSE,” The Rose will be dropping the new single “Blue Moon” on April 13, while their “ROSETOPIA” tour will kick off on June 5. The release date for “ROSE” has not yet been announced.

The band explained, “With our upcoming album ‘ROSE’ and the tour ‘ROSETOPIA,’ we want to close this chapter with you the way it deserves.”
