ATEEZ Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200 + Breaks Record For Most Top 10 Albums Of Any Group This Decade

ATEEZ has become the group with the most top 10 albums this decade on the Billboard 200!

On July 5 local time, Billboard announced that ATEEZ’s new mini album “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” had debuted at No. 1 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.

“GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” is ATEEZ’s third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, following “THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL” and “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2.” It is also their ninth consecutive top 10 album on the Billboard 200, continuing an unbroken streak that began with “THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT” in 2022.

With a total of nine top 10s in the 2020s, ATEEZ has set a new record for the most top 10 albums of any group this decade—breaking a three-way tie with Stray Kids and TXT.

Additionally, ATEEZ achieved their biggest week yet in the United States with their new mini album. According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” earned a total of 228,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on July 3, marking a new career high for the group.

The album’s total score consisted of 223,000 traditional album sales—marking a new personal record for ATEEZ and also making it the best-selling album of the week in the United States—and 5,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 4.96 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.

Jennie Breaks Top 3 Of Billboard Radio Songs Chart For 1st Time With Tame Impala Collab “Dracula”

Both BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Tame Impala have hit new career highs on U.S. radio with their remix of “Dracula”!

This week, Jennie and Tame Impala’s collab version of “Dracula” soared to new peaks of No. 3 on both Billboard’s Radio Songs chart and Pop Airplay chart, marking new all-time highs for both singers.

Billboard’s Radio Songs chart measures weekly plays on U.S. radio stations across all genres, while the Pop Airplay chart measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.

“Dracula” also returned to its peak of No. 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100, the main chart ranking the most popular songs in the United States.

Additionally, “Dracula” remained No. 1 on both Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and Dance Streaming Songs chart this week. The song also climbed back up to No. 6 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 7 on the Global 200, No. 12 on the Digital Song Sales chart and Songs of the Summer chart, as well as No. 25 on the Streaming Songs chart.

Meanwhile, Jennie took No. 87 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking her 16th week on the chart as a solo artist.

According to Hanteo Chart, ATEEZ has achieved the highest first-week sales of their entire career with the mini album. MBC’s “Fifties Professionals” has shared new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

“Fifties Professionals” is an action-comedy about three seemingly ordinary but secretly dangerous middle-aged men who are brought back into action by destiny. The three men, who once reigned at the top of their respective fields, find themselves exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. There, they begin a bittersweet and comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day from 10 years ago that changed their lives.

Previously in “Fifties Professionals,” prosecutor Kang Young Ae (Kim Shin Rok) came one step closer to Bong Je Soon’s (Oh Jung Se) identity and began suspecting him of being Bulgae. In addition, Kim Seon Joong (Kang Shin Il), unable to withstand Chairman Do’s (Kwon Yul) scheme and Han Gyeong Wook’s (Kim Sang Kyung) pressure, ultimately announced his resignation from the mayoral candidacy.

Meanwhile, the newly released stills capture a noticeably changed atmosphere between Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun) and Kwon Oh Ran (Shin Dong Mi). The two are seated across from each other at a dining table, engaged in a serious conversation.

Kwon Oh Ran appears shocked, clutching her chest as if she has just heard something unexpected. It remains to be seen whether this conversation becomes a new turning point in their relationship.

RIIZE Breaks Their 1st-Day Sales Record + Tops iTunes Charts With “II”

RIIZE’s latest comeback is off to a strong start!

On June 15 at 6 p.m. KST, RIIZE made their highly-anticipated return with their second mini album “II” and its catchy title track “Do your dance.”

According to Hanteo Chart, “II” sold an impressive total of 916,373 copies on its first day of sales alone, breaking RIIZE’s previous first-day sales record of 805,985 set by their first full-length album “ODYSSEY” last year.

“II” also topped music charts in various countries around the world. Immediately upon its release, “II” shot to No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in least five different regions including Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The mini album also entered the top 10 in at least 11 different regions across the globe.

Just one day into their comeback, TREASURE has already set a new personal record!

On June 1 at 6 p.m. KST, TREASURE made their highly-anticipated return with the hip hop mini album “NEW WAV” and its title track “IF I.”

According to Hanteo Chart, “NEW WAV” sold an impressive total of 592,158 copies on its first day of sales alone, breaking TREASURE’s previous first-day sales record of 541,877 set by their last mini album “LOVE PULSE” in September.

Meanwhile, both “NEW WAV” and “IF I” soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries around the world shortly after their release. According to YG Entertainment, by the morning of May 2 KST, “NEW WAV” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least eight different regions, while “IF I” had climbed to No. 1 on iTunes Top songs charts in at least seven regions.

CORTIS Breaks Personal Record As “GREENGREEN” Spends 3rd Week On Billboard 200

CORTIS’s “GREENGREEN” is enjoying a stable run on the Billboard 200!

On June 2 local time, Billboard revealed that CORTIS’s new EP “GREENGREEN” had ranked No. 42 in its third consecutive week on the Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. “GREENGREEN” first debuted at No. 3 on the chart before falling to No. 30 last week.

On top of becoming CORTIS’s first album ever to break the top 10 of the Billboard 200, “GREENGREEN” has now become the group’s first album to chart for three weeks in the top 100.

“GREENGREEN” also stayed strong at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and No. 3 on the Top Album Sales chart, meaning it was the third best-selling album of the week in the United States.
