Hani Dishes On Her Resilient Character And Her Charms In “Love On The Menu”

Hani has shared more insights into her upcoming drama “Love on the Menu”!

“Love on the Menu” is a family romance drama that follows Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they piece together the fragments of their broken families and create the warmest table of life together.

Making her weekend drama debut as Han Gyu Rim, Hani shared, “Since weekend dramas are something the whole family watches together, I was excited, but I also felt a lot of pressure and a strong sense of responsibility.”

Explaining why she chose the role, she said, “Han Gyu Rim hasn’t had an easy life, but she doesn’t let that turn her into someone who hates the world. She’s been hurt, endured so much, and carried far more responsibility than anyone should have to, yet she continues to move forward, protects the people she loves, and finds a way to smile again. That part of her stayed with me for a long time.”

Hani also spoke about how she prepared for the character, saying, “Han Gyu Rim didn’t suddenly become a strong person overnight. She became that way because she had to take care of her family from a very young age. As I prepared for the role, I wanted there to be both the face of a mother and the face of a daughter who still needs her own mother.” She continued, “Because life felt so overwhelming to her, I think the more she loved Moo Jin, the more afraid she became.”

Describing Han Gyu Rim with the keywords “resilience,” “love,” and “strength,” Hani explained, “There must have been countless moments when she wanted to give up, but she persevered day after day to protect her family. She lies at times and even runs away, but deep down, everything she does comes from love. It broke my heart because those choices were her way of protecting the people she cared about. Even so, she’s someone who can still smile and show kindness, and I found that strength truly admirable.”

Returning to acting for the first time in three years, Hani remarked, “‘Love on the Menu’ is a story about people who choose to keep loving and living their lives, even if they aren’t perfect and have been hurt many times. I hope it becomes a warm drama that families can enjoy watching together. Please give it lots of love and support.”

Park Eun Bin Shares Insights Into Her “Spooky In Love” Character And Styling Choices

Park Eun Bin has shared her thoughts on her upcoming drama “Spooky in Love”!

A remake of the 2011 film “Spellbound,” “Spooky in Love” is an occult romance drama about the chaotic partnership between a hotel heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate prosecutor who is terrified of them.

Park Eun Bin plays Cheon Yeo Ri, a hotel CEO with beauty, wealth and talent. However, she harbors a secret: she can see ghosts, and anyone she touches can also see them.

Park Eun Bin, who wanted to show a different side from her previous project, cited Cheon Yeo Ri’s contrasting traits as the reason she was drawn to the role. She said, “The gap between her image as a hotel CEO and the side she must hide from others felt compelling. I was drawn to how she tries, in her own way, to overcome a situation where she cannot live an ordinary life even if she wants to.”

Kang Min Ah Shares Insights Into Her “Love In Sync” Character And Working With Kim Myung Soo

Kang Min Ah has shared her thoughts on her upcoming drama “Love in Sync”!

“Love in Sync” is a romantic comedy that follows a woman who refuses empathy and a man who carries too much of it. When they begin to share one another’s emotions through a surreal phenomenon, the two gradually come to understand one another and grow together.

In the series, Kang Min Ah plays Yoo Ji An, a star actress and former member of the famous girl group I WANT. Yoo Ji An grew up under strict management and control from childhood and lacks the ability to understand other people’s emotions. However, after meeting the highly empathetic Cha Eun Hwan, she experiences an unexpected emotional transference and gradually begins to change.

Reflecting on the reason she chose the project, Kang Min Ah said, “When I first read the script, the premise was very fresh and interesting. I was fascinated by the process of portraying the changes that occur as other people’s emotions are transmitted to Ji An. It was also my first time playing an actress role, so I was even more drawn to it.”

Kang Min Ah went on to describe Yoo Ji An as a “pure and lovable character.” She added, “Ji An faces criticism for her acting abilities, but she is someone who constantly works hard for her job. On the outside, she may seem cold and indifferent, but inside she is warmer than anyone.”

The actress noted that her own profession helped her relate closely to the character, saying, “Because she has a similar profession, there were many aspects I could understand. I put a lot of thought into how to naturally convey Ji An’s complex emotions and confusion.”

Speaking about her co-star Kim Myung Soo, Kang Min Ah said, “I learned a lot from him while working together. Actor Kim Myung Soo is very meticulous in script analysis and extremely thorough in preparation. As someone with a more improvisational style, he was a great source of inspiration for me, and I took a lot of cues from his strengths while filming.”

Discussing the appeal of the series, she continued, “It is a drama where viewers can naturally empathize with the characters’ emotions, just as the title suggests. The atmosphere on set was very good, and everyone enjoyed filming. It contains a romance full of excitement and the stories of individuals with unique characters, so viewers will be able to comfortably enjoy it with a smile.”

When asked to describe Cha Eun Hwan, Kim Myung Soo chose the three keywords “flawless,” “empathy,” and “cool.” He explained, “Cha Eun Hwan is a professionally flawless character, and because he works as a counselor, he has a strong ability to empathize with others. Speaking about what drew him to the role, Kim Myung Soo shared, “Most of the roles I’ve played in the past have been relatively heavy, so I really wanted the opportunity to show a romantic comedy this time. I found the idea of sharing and transferring other people’s emotions very interesting, and I was also drawn to the relationship between Cha Eun Hwan and Yoo Ji An.”

The actor also revealed the effort he put into portraying the character. “There are aspects of Cha Eun Hwan that are similar to me, but there are also differences, so I read the script many times,” he said, explaining how he worked to portray a character who empathizes with others’ pain while carrying hidden scars of his own.

Park Ji Hyun Talks Romance Chemistry With Seo In Guk And Similarities To Her “See You At Work Tomorrow!” Character

Park Ji Hyun has shared insights into her upcoming drama “See You at Work Tomorrow!”

Based on a hit webtoon, “See You at Work Tomorrow!” is a romance drama starring Park Ji Hyun as Cha Ji Yoon, an office worker stuck in a career rut. After becoming entangled with her prickly boss Kang Si Woo (Seo In Guk), she winds up making a fresh start both in her career and in her love life.

Explaining why she chose to join the project, Park Ji Hyun shared, “The script itself was incredibly fun. It tells a realistic story that I think everyone has experienced at least once, so I felt many viewers would be able to relate to it.”

She continued, “Work and love are two of the most important things in life, but they also seem to remain some of its most difficult challenges. I related to Cha Ji Yoon’s realistic concerns and emotions, and I wanted to portray those everyday details.”

Park Ji Hyun’s character Cha Ji Yoon is a respected senior employee at her company, but after seven years in the workforce, she has grown weary of her repetitive daily routine. Describing the character, Park Ji Hyun said, “Cha Ji Yoon is someone who gives her all to both work and love. Because she pours so much passion into everything she does, she also gets hurt more deeply. I felt that aspect of her was similar to me in real life.”

When asked which line from the drama resonated with her most, Park Ji Hyun chose, “Let’s put up at least one wall.” She explained, “Even when we think we’re building walls to protect ourselves from getting hurt, people who are sincere eventually end up tearing those walls down without even realizing it. I could relate to the unexpected situations and outcomes that arise in that process.”

Known for portraying strong characters, Park Ji Hyun will showcase a more down-to-earth and lovable side of herself through this drama. “It felt special to play such a lovable character in a romance-focused project,” she said. “My characters haven’t often ended up finding love in previous dramas, so I’m excited that this time I get to tell a lovey-dovey love story.”

Whenever I felt unsure because I lacked experience, he naturally guided me like the ‘romance master’ he’s known to be.”

Finally, Park Ji Hyun wittily said, “In the drama, Cha Ji Yoon’s comfort food is fried chicken, but these days I’m obsessed with spicy braised chicken with tripe. I hope viewers will also enjoy ‘See You at Work Tomorrow!’ comfortably alongside their own favorite comfort foods.”

Seo In Guk Shares Insights Into His “See You At Work Tomorrow!” Character And Chemistry With Park Ji Hyun

Seo In Guk has shared his thoughts on his upcoming drama “See You at Work Tomorrow!”

Seo In Guk plays Kang Si Woo, the head of the DA business division who places a strong emphasis on principles. He has strict self-discipline and outstanding job skills, but his cold demeanor makes him difficult to approach.

Explaining his decision to join the project, Seo In Guk said, “The journey of the principled, no smile, no people, and no apology so-called ‘3NOs man’ who falls in love and protects his work impressed me.”

He further described the character, saying, “At first glance, he is a cold character who seems to have no blood or tears, but when you look closely, he is a very warm person with a deep sense of consideration. While it is difficult to compare him with the characters I have played so far, Kang Si Woo is also different in tone from the characters I have portrayed before. At work, he appears cold and stern, so he is often misunderstood, but he is a strong person who is not swayed by the judgments or emotions of those around him.”

He added, “On the other hand, he is a character with strong empathy for the people he cares about. I hope viewers discover Kang Si Woo’s unexpected charm while watching the drama.”

To portray the cold and principled Kang Si Woo, Seo In Guk explained, “I tried to express a rigid manner of speaking, a cold expression, and a stiff way of walking. I worked to create a contrast between how he behaves at work and how he is when he is with people he feels comfortable around.”

Regarding his chemistry with Park Ji Hyun, he said, “There were many fun episodes. She is a very cheerful and witty actress, so there were many moments of laughter on set. We also share a common interest in music, so while filming on set, we would listen to songs together and sing, which made the filming enjoyable. Thanks to that, we were able to maintain a pleasant synergy throughout filming.”

He also added, “I hope viewers will watch and see how the characters grow and overcome challenges in their own ways within our daily lives of commuting to and from work.”

Lee Jun Young Shares Insights Into Portraying A Soul-Swapped Character In Upcoming Drama “Reborn Rookie”

Lee Jun Young has shared his thoughts on the upcoming drama “Reborn Rookie”!

“Reborn Rookie” follows Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of the leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group, who is revered as a business genius. After an accident, however, he unexpectedly finds himself living a second life when his soul swaps into the youthful body of a soccer player named Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

Hwang Jun Hyun is a once-promising figure in the soccer world who, after an unexpected accident, becomes possessed by the soul of Kang Yong Ho. As a result, Lee Jun Young portrays two distinct personas: soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun and company chairman Kang Yong Ho.

Lee Jun Young revealed that the “soul-switching” premise was the reason he chose the project, saying, “The fact that I could portray both Hwang Jun Hyun and Kang Yong Ho within a single project felt like an incredibly appealing challenge as an actor. On top of that, the script itself was really entertaining, so I chose the project without hesitation.”

Lee Jun Young Shares Insights Into Portraying A Soul-Swapped Character In Upcoming Drama “Reborn Rookie”插图

The actor previewed Hwang Jun Hyun’s contrasting appeal, saying, “Soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun is someone who is healthy, has bright energy, and works harder than anyone else to achieve his dream. On the other hand, Hwang Jun Hyun, after the soul of Chairman Kang Yong Ho enters his body, keeps the same outward appearance but exudes an extraordinary sense of pressure and charisma from within.”

Because the souls switch during the course of the story, Lee Jun Young said he carefully analyzed the character of Chairman Kang Yong Ho in order to portray him fully. Lee Jun Young said, “I wanted soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun and Hwang Jun Hyun after Kang Yong Ho’s soul enters him to look clearly different. I thought a lot about Chairman Kang Yong Ho’s distinctive speech patterns and emotional tone.”

The actor also recalled working to match the performance of Kang Yong Ho as portrayed by Son Hyun Joo, saying, “I paid close attention to senior Son Hyun Joo’s usual way of speaking and behavior so I could express them naturally. In particular, I watched a lot of video clips from his previous projects.”

Lee Jun Young also shared the key viewing point of “Reborn Rookie,” saying, “The show brings waves of varied emotions, from heavy storytelling to tense moments of urgency that make your hands sweat. I think the biggest appeal will be the unexpected situations Kang Yong Ho, in Hwang Jun Hyun’s body, encounters after joining Choi Sung Group. I hope viewers will enjoy it as if they are surfing along when these exciting waves we created come.”

“Reborn Rookie” premieres on May 30 at 10:40 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.
