Watch: Kim Yoon Sik And Park Si Woo Perfect Their Chemistry On Set Of “The Prosecutor’s Proposal”

“The Prosecutor’s Proposal” has released a new making-of video!

Based on a popular web novel, “The Prosecutor’s Proposal” is an office investigative BL drama. The story follows rookie investigator Lee Chae Ha (Park Si Woo), who lives with the stigma of being a killer’s son, and perfectionist prosecutor Joo Tae Sun (Kim Yoon Sik), who has exceptional abilities. The two start with a precarious relationship, suspecting one another, but as they cooperate to investigate a case, they become intertwined through complex emotions.

The newly released making-of video shows sweet and playful moments between Park Si Woo and Kim Yoon Sik, who take care of each other and joke around in between filming.

In another scene, Cho Min Kyu impresses with his crane game luck, but he always ends up winning when the camera isn’t rolling. After getting soaked from the fake rain created by the hard work of the production team, a staff member comments how sweet it is for Cho Min Kyu’s character to dust the rain of Park Si Woo’s jacket. Park Si Woo jokingly comments, “He’s so sweet. He’s better than Tae Sun for sure.”

Park Si Woo and Kim Yoon Sik impress the set with their rehearsal of their characters’ intimate scene, carrying out the scene perfectly once the camera starts rolling.

While filming at night, Park Si Woo shows off the fake prop weapon as he comments, “I think this is the most important scene.” Kim Yoon Sik remarks, “I’m the one with a lot of lines,” but Park Si Woo insists that he has more lines to the making-of camera. Wrapping up, Kim Yoon Sik comments, “The filming went better than I imagined,” sharing that they did their best to film despite the cold weather.

Ahn Bo Hyun Talks About Returning As The Ultimate Rich Detective In “Flex x Cop 2,” Chemistry With Jung Eun Chae, And More

Ahn Bo Hyun has shared more insights into “Flex x Cop 2”!

In “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir turned detective who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes whenever an investigation reaches a dead end, while Jung Eun Chae plays veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

Ahead of the premiere of “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun sat down for an interview to share his thoughts on the new season and what viewers can look forward to.

Jin Yi Soo first stumbled into police work by chance, but eventually developed a strong sense of justice and camaraderie, choosing to become a full-fledged detective instead of inheriting his family’s conglomerate. In Season 1, the lovable attention-seeker won viewers over with his flashy investigative style, sparing no expense or connection to catch criminals.

Looking back on learning that the drama had been renewed for Season 2, Ahn Bo Hyun shared, “More than anything, I was excited that I’d get to experience the special atmosphere from Season 1 all over again. After adjusting everyone’s schedules, more than 90 percent of the original staff returned, so stepping onto set felt like coming back to school after summer break and starting a new semester. Thanks to the amazing staff, cast, and all of our special guest stars, filming was incredibly enjoyable.”

While Season 1 focused on Jin Yi Soo’s journey from an immature chaebol heir to a growing detective, Season 2 will follow him after completing formal police academy training as he takes on cases as a true detective.

Ahn Bo Hyun explained, “As we prepared for Season 2, the director, writer, and I had many discussions because I wanted Yi Soo to clearly show that he’d grown another step and become a more mature detective. We wanted to preserve his signature energy and beagle-like personality while showing a more serious and dependable side whenever he’s investigating.”

He also teased that Jin Yi Soo’s signature “money-powered” investigations have been taken to the next level this season. Naming the private jet as his favorite investigative “cheat code,” Ahn Bo Hyun said, “Right from his very first appearance, he’ll make an impression with the overwhelming scale of arriving on his own private jet.”

He added, “I think viewers will enjoy the satisfying feeling of seeing unrealistic situations resolved in spectacular fashion through Yi Soo’s wealth and influence—things that would never happen in real life.”

Ahn Bo Hyun also highlighted the drama’s action sequences, saying, “I wanted to deliver action scenes that were every bit as polished as Season 1, so I filmed many of them myself without using a stunt double. I hope viewers will look forward to the thrilling, exhilarating action this season.”

Another major highlight of Season 2 will be Jin Yi Soo’s new partnership with Jung Eun Chae’s character Joo Hye Ra. Joo Hye Ra is Jin Yi Soo’s former police academy instructor—known for being a strict disciplinarian who often scolded him—who is assigned as the new leader of Violent Crimes Unit 1 and becomes his investigative partner.

Teasing their dynamic, Ahn Bo Hyun laughed, “Every time Joo Hye Ra sees Jin Yi Soo, she calls him a ‘crazy guy.’ I think viewers will have fun watching Yi Soo suddenly become so meek whenever he’s around her.”

Speaking about working with Jung Eun Chae, he added, “It was my first time working with her. She’s a warm and very charming actress. Unlike her elegant on-screen image, she’s actually very easygoing and straightforward, which made the atmosphere on set really enjoyable.”

As for reuniting with his Violent Crimes Unit 1 teammates, portrayed by Kang Sang Jun and Kim Shin Bi, Ahn Bo Hyun said, “We’ve built such strong chemistry that we can understand each other just by exchanging a glance. Even though they bicker, the members of Violent Crimes Unit 1 gradually become closer and more united, so I hope viewers will look forward to their teamwork.”

Closing the interview, Ahn Bo Hyun confidently declared, “There have been many incredible and memorable protagonists in SBS’s Friday-Saturday dramas, but Jin Yi Soo stands out because he’s by far the wealthiest of them all.”

He continued, “His limitless wealth is his greatest weapon, allowing him to investigate cases boldly. He’ll deliver plenty of satisfying justice by taking down criminals who think they can escape the law. We’ve prepared an even bigger scale, stronger episodic stories, and lots of laughs and exhilarating moments to live up to viewers’ expectations. We’ll be back soon with the ultimate refreshing entertainment to brighten your weekend nights.”

“Fresh Off The Sea 3” Teases New Cast Chemistry, Bigger Missions, And Star Guests

“Fresh off the Sea 3” has unveiled several key points to look forward to ahead of its premiere!

“Fresh off the Sea” is a reality program that follows its cast as they travel across South Korea’s coastal regions for three days and two nights, showcasing scenic landscapes and local delicacies unique to each area.

Yum Jung Ah returned for the new Season 3, joined by new cast members Kim Sun Young, Kang You Seok, and Roh Yoon Seo.

1. The New Four-Sibling Cast’s Chemistry

The biggest change this season is the introduction of the show’s new “family” of four siblings. Yum Jung Ah once again takes on the role of the dependable eldest sibling, while longtime fan of the show Kim Sun Young joins as the second sibling. Kang You Seok, who is currently filming a project with Yum Jung Ah, and Roh Yoon Seo, who has previously worked with each of the other cast members, round out the new family. According to the production team, the four displayed effortless chemistry from their very first meeting, quickly forming a strong bond.

The staff also shared that laughter filled the set—not only while the cast tackled physically demanding work and prepared meals, but even during their breaks. With the motto, “Anything for our viewers!” the cast’s nonstop banter and unexpected mishaps promise a fresh kind of fun unique to Season 3.

Newly released character posters further highlight each cast member’s distinct charm, introducing Yum Jung Ah as the “generous captain,” Kim Sun Young as the “easygoing and quirky second sibling,” Kang You Seok as the “playful and cute third sibling,” and Roh Yoon Seo as the “optimistic youngest sibling.”

2. Larger-Scale Missions And Bigger Harvests

While the show’s signature concept of harvesting seasonal ingredients and cooking in the midst of beautiful natural landscapes remains unchanged, Season 3 promises an even more unpredictable journey. From the very beginning, the cast will face surprising fishing expeditions that leave them completely caught off guard.

With unexpected twists around every corner, the cast reportedly kept their bags packed at all times, ready to move whenever necessary. The production team teased that this season will unfold in ways unlike previous installments, saying viewers may even find themselves thinking, “This isn’t the ‘Fresh off the Sea’ I remember!”

The scale of the labor has also been taken up a notch. This season features everything from harvesting large quantities of sea squirts to collecting Gyeonnaeryang stone seaweed, a rare variety that can only be harvested for about 15 days each year. The cast will venture across mountains, fields, tidal flats, the ocean, and even rivers in search of seasonal ingredients, capturing the demanding process in vivid detail. Another highlight will be Yum Jung Ah’s signature home-cooked meals, prepared after each day’s hard work.

3. An Exciting Lineup of Special Guests

Special guests will also make the season even more exciting. This season, Cho Jung Seok and Park Hae Joon will appear as guests. Cho Jung Seok previously worked with Yum Jung Ah in the film “Hit-and-Run Squad,” while Park Hae Joon recently starred alongside Yum Jung Ah and Kim Sun Young in the drama “Love, Take Two.” Park Hae Joon also shared the screen with Kang You Seok as father and son in “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” making viewers even more curious to see the chemistry they’ll showcase in a variety show setting.

“Fresh off the Sea 3” will premiere on July 30 at 8:40 p.m. KST on tvN.

Lee Dong Wook And Kim Hye Joon Dish On Their Chemistry And Reuniting For “A Shop For Killers 2”

Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Joon has posed with ELLE magazine!

Ahead of the premiere of their upcoming original series “A Shop for Killers 2,” Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Joon joined ELLE for a pictorial and interview.

“A Shop for Killers” is an action drama that follows Jeong Ji An (Kim Hye Joon), who moves in with her uncle Jeong Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook) after her parents’ passing. Jin Man runs a shopping mall, but when he suddenly dies, Ji An inherits his secret and dangerous legacy and becomes the target of suspicious killers. Season 2 follows Ji An, who becomes the shopping mall’s new CEO. She joins forces with Jin Man, who returns alive, to fight back against the global forces of Babylon.

On reprising his role, Lee Dong Wook shared, “Rather than discovering a new side of Jin Man, I felt as if I grew closer to him. Since it’s not a project I began with Season 2 in mind, I didn’t strictly establish what kind of figure Jin Man is and rather chose to flexibly expand [his character]. In that sense, Jeong Jin Man is still an ongoing figure.”

Regarding his chemistry with Kim Hye Joon, Lee Dong Wook shared, “There’s something I always say to Hye Joon since Season 1. ‘You have way more scenes, so you work much harder.’ (Laughs) We felt natural when we reunited to film Season 2. We existed as if we filmed yesterday and met again today.”

Kim Hye Joon also talked about returning to the role of her character Ji An. She shared, “The action has become more powerful. In Season 1, the action took place in the limited space of her home, but in Season 2, the world becomes bigger. The spaces become more diverse, and there are more action implements. In particular, Ji An’s gun action officially appears, and I always carried around the gun in my house to handle it like as if it were an extension of my body. It was to the extent that I spent more time as Jeong Ji An than as Kim Hye Joon.”

The actress also dished on her chemistry with Lee Dong Wook, saying, “He always says, ‘This is yours,’ and I know very well that’s Lee Dong Wook’s way of cheering me on and giving me strength. He lets me do what I want to the fullest, and he stands reliably one step behind me.” Sharing insight into the relationship between Jeong Jin Man and Jeong Ji An, Kim Hye Joon remarked, “They have no choice but to accept each other, and they have no choice but to be accepted. Ji An feels that Jin Man’s nature surfaces within herself before she realizes. It’s not that she became like him because she wanted to, but they are people who have already become alike at one point.”

Kim Myung Soo Dishes On His “Love In Sync” Character, Cast Chemistry, And More

Kim Myung Soo has shared more insights into his character Cha Eun Hwan in the upcoming drama “Love in Sync.”

“Love in Sync” is a romantic comedy that follows a woman who refuses empathy and a man who carries too much of it. When they begin to share one another’s emotions through a surreal phenomenon, the two gradually come to understand one another and grow together.

Kim Myung Soo plays Cha Eun Hwan, a man whose exceptional ability to empathize leads him to carry the emotional burdens of others. A professional counselor, Cha Eun Hwan earns the trust of his clients through both his expertise and easygoing charm. However, despite helping others navigate their feelings, he struggles to look inward and confront his own emotions.

One day, after experiencing an “emotional transfer” with Yoo Ji An (Kang Min Ah), he is forced to face the wounds he has long kept buried.

When asked to describe Cha Eun Hwan, Kim Myung Soo chose the three keywords “flawless,” “empathy,” and “cool.” He explained, “Cha Eun Hwan is a professionally flawless character, and because he works as a counselor, he has a strong ability to empathize with others. On a personal note, I think he’s cool because there are many moments where he helps Yoo Ji An.”

Speaking about what drew him to the role, Kim Myung Soo shared, “Most of the roles I’ve played in the past have been relatively heavy, so I really wanted the opportunity to show a romantic comedy this time. I found the idea of sharing and transferring other people’s emotions very interesting, and I was also drawn to the relationship between Cha Eun Hwan and Yoo Ji An.”

The actor also revealed the effort he put into portraying the character. “There are aspects of Cha Eun Hwan that are similar to me, but there are also differences, so I read the script many times,” he said, explaining how he worked to portray a character who empathizes with others’ pain while carrying hidden scars of his own.
