Watch: Ra Mi Ran And Lee Re Clash As Rival Owners Of Wish-Granting Snack Shops In New Fantasy Film

The upcoming film “Strange Snack Shop Jeoncheondang” (literal title) has confirmed its premiere date and unveiled its main poster and trailer!

Based on a Japanese best-selling novel, “Strange Snack Shop Jeoncheondang” is a fantasy film about magical events that take place when customers carrying lucky coins visit Jeoncheondang, a snack store that grants wishes. The live-action film was produced in South Korea and is scheduled to hit theaters in May, followed by a 12-episode series release in the second half of the year.

The newly released main poster features two characters with completely contrasting charms set against the dreamy backdrop of Jeoncheondang. Ra Mi Ran stars as Hong Ja, the owner of Jeoncheondang, radiating warmth and mystery with her silver hair and traditional hanbok styling. In contrast, Lee Re transforms into Yomi, the owner of rival shop Hwaangdang, commanding attention with an all-black look and icy gaze.

The trailer further previews the tense rivalry between the two characters alongside the film’s fantastical visuals. As various customers visit Jeoncheondang, Hong Ja ominously remarks, “Luck can easily turn into misfortune,” hinting that the story will go beyond simple fantasy and venture into darker, mysterious territory.

The trailer also introduces Yomi, who interferes with Jeoncheondang, while Hong Ja stands against her. Hong Ja’s chilling line, “Did you really think you could just leave?” foreshadows an intense showdown between the two rivals.

Heo Nam Jun And Jang Seung Jo Clash In Chaebol Succession Battle In “My Royal Nemesis”

Get ready for a fierce succession battle between Heo Nam Jun and Jang Seung Jo in SBS’s upcoming drama “My Royal Nemesis”!

“My Royal Nemesis” is a romantic comedy starring Lim Ji Yeon as Shin Seo Ri, a struggling actress who is suddenly possessed by the spirit of a notorious villainess from the Joseon era. Heo Nam Jun will star as Cha Se Gye, a ruthless chaebol heir who is known as a “monster created by capitalism.”

In the drama, Cha Se Gye is the grandson of Cha-il Group chairman Cha Dal Soo (Yoon Joo Sang). However, instead of working for one of Cha-il Group’s subsidiary companies, he runs an independent business of his own.

Jang Seung Jo will play the role of Choi Moon Do, the CEO of Cha-il Construction. As the nephew of chairman Cha Dal Soo, Choi Moon Do is an ambitious man who dreams of one day becoming the chairman of Cha-il Group himself.

Not only are Cha Se Gye and Choi Moon Do inevitably set to face off in a cutthroat succession battle, but they also wind up clashing over Shin Seo Ri, with whom both men form unexpected connections in order to achieve their respective goals.

Newly released stills from the upcoming drama capture a tense confrontation between Cha Se Gye and Choi Moon Do. With no familial warmth to be found between the two men, the tension is palpable as they stare each other down in Choi Moon Do’s office late at night. While Cha Se Gye’s hardened expression suggests that he is barely holding in his rage, Choi Moon Do wears a relaxed but chilling smile as he responds to his angry rival.

Upcoming drama “Reborn Rookie” has shared new stills featuring Jeon Hye Jin and Jin Goo!

“Reborn Rookie” follows Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of the leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group, who is revered as a business genius. After an accident, however, he unexpectedly finds himself living a second life when his soul swaps into the youthful body of a soccer player named Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

Jeon Hye Jin plays Chairman Kang Yong Ho’s daughter Kang Jae Kyung, the president of Choi Sung Chemical, a subsidiary of Choi Sung Group. Kang Jae Kyung is highly competitive and possessive, and she has an intense obsession with Choi Sung Group. With cold-blooded determination, she sets out to seize control of the group immediately after Kang Yong Ho’s sudden accident without showing a hint of hesitation.

Jin Goo plays Chairman Kang Yong Ho’s son Kang Jae Sung. Unlike Kang Jae Kyung, Kang Jae Sung has a more modest demeanor but holds onto the position of president of Choi Sung Corporation—one of the core affiliates—solely by virtue of being the eldest son. Having been compared to Kang Jae Kyung throughout his childhood, Kang Jae Sung harbors deep feelings of inferiority and uses the network he has built as Kang Yong Ho’s eldest son, along with strong support from his in-laws, as weapons to fiercely shake Kang Jae Kyung.

The newly released stills highlight the stark contrast between Kang Jae Kyung and Kang Jae Sung’s personalities. Kang Jae Kyung maintains a poker face and radiates elegance wherever she goes, while Kang Jae Sung’s facial expressions openly reveal his emotions. Their contrasting personalities hint at their polar-opposite management styles.

Viewers are curious about who will ultimately inherit the company between Kang Jae Kyung, who is determined to seize control of the group, and Kang Jae Sung, who leverages his status as the eldest son. The actors added to the intrigue by sharing insights into the unique strategies of their respective characters.
