BTS Continues Record-Breaking Run In Top 10 Of Billboard 200

BTS’s “ARIRANG” is holding steady in the top 10 of the Billboard 200!

On May 17 local time, Billboard announced that BTS’s latest album “ARIRANG” was now spending its eighth consecutive week on the Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States, at No. 8.

“ARIRANG,” which initially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 back in March, is the first album by a Korean artist ever to spend eight weeks in the top 10.

According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “ARIRANG” earned a total of 44,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on May 14.

“Sold Out On You” Continues Lone Ratings Race

SBS’s “Sold Out on You” remains the only drama to air on Wednesdays!

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 3 of “Sold Out on You” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 2.8 percent. This is a 0.5 percent decrease from its previous episode’s rating of 3.3 percent.

“Sold Out on You” is a romantic comedy about the unexpected love story between Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo Seop), a perfectionist farmer juggling multiple jobs, and Dam Ye Jin (Chae Won Bin), a top home shopping show host who suffers from severe insomnia.

The next episode of “Sold Out on You” will air on April 30 at 9 p.m. KST.

“The Scarecrow” Continues Rise In Ratings + “Yumi’s Cells 3” Sees Boost

Both “The Scarecrow” and “Yumi’s Cells 3” enjoyed boosts in ratings last night!

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 3 of ENA’s “The Scarecrow” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.0 percent. This is a 0.9 percent increase from its previous episode’s rating of 4.1 percent, continuing its perfect streak of setting new personal bests.

Meanwhile, episode 5 of tvN’s “Yumi’s Cells 3” earned an average nationwide viewership rating of 2.3 percent, also seeing a 0.4 percent increase from its previous episode’s rating of 1.9 percent.
