Lee Joon Gi And Sakaguchi Kentaro Face A Shared Kidnapping Crisis Across Borders In “kiDnap GAME”

Upcoming drama “kiDnap GAME” has unveiled new stills of Lee Joon Gi and Sakaguchi Kentaro!

“kiDnap GAME” is a thriller centered on an unprecedented kidnapping case that unfolds simultaneously across seven Asian cities—Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha, and Manila. The story follows seven individuals who are each given different missions and forced into a deadly survival game, where they must complete their assignments before anyone else in order to save their loved ones and survive.

Sakaguchi Kentaro plays Niide Toshiro, a Tokyo detective with a strong sense of justice and a resolute inner strength. While pursuing a case as a detective, he becomes personally involved when his wife is kidnapped. Even as his family is placed in danger, he continues to uncover the truth behind the kidnapping and closes in on those behind it.

Lee Joon Gi transforms into Han Ki Joo, a doctor in Seoul. Han Ki Joo’s ordinary life is also shattered when his daughter is kidnapped. Desperate to save her, he is forced to follow the harsh rules set by the kidnapper and repeatedly makes extreme choices in an effort to save his family.

As Niide Toshiro and Han Ki Joo confront the case in different ways while each tries to save his wife and daughter, respectively, another key point of interest will be how the two become entangled. In particular, as the choices of the two men, both pushed to the brink, collide, their confrontation and emotional shifts will form another central axis of the story.

As people of different nationalities and professions become entangled in the same incident, the stories unfolding across seven cities gradually converge into one. In this survival game, only one person can remain alive, and the participants must make choices to save the people they hold dear while facing situations in which those choices could put someone else in danger.

The series delves not only into the process of tracking down those responsible for the kidnappings but also into why each character was drawn into the game. Small decisions and actions the characters made without a second thought in their ordinary lives lead to unexpected consequences, while the seven people who initially appear to have no connection gradually become intertwined.

“kiDnap GAME” will premiere on Channel A on October 6 at 10 p.m. KST.

Lee Jun Hyuk Steps Up To Solve An Unexpected Crisis In “The Ordinary Jackpot”

“The Ordinary Jackpot” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episodes!

Based on a webtoon, “The Ordinary Jackpot” follows Gong Eun Tae (Lee Jun Hyuk), an ordinary sales employee who wins the lottery jackpot. Though the prize—1.3 billion won (approximately $950,000)—isn’t quite enough to dramatically transform his life overnight, the experience ultimately inspires him to change himself instead. Rather than quit, he returns to work the very next day with a completely different outlook on life.

Spoilers

Previously, Episodes 3 and 4 followed the transformed Gong Eun Tae. Determined to no longer simply put up with unfair treatment, his resolve brought changes not only to Yang Joon Ho (Seo Hyun Woo), but to the entire Sales Team 5 as they began to truly work together.

However, Jung Sun Hyuk (Oh Dae Hwan) unexpectedly returned as an “enemy” of Hongsung International, foreshadowing another major upheaval.

The newly released stills capture Sales Team 5 as they work to resolve an unexpected crisis. In the first still, Gong Eun Tae is seen at a workshop, where he has gone in search of a solution to the problem.

With a determined expression, Gong Eun Tae calmly tries to persuade someone, showcasing his sense of responsibility as a team leader who refuses to give up on finding a solution.

Yang Joon Ho is also spotted assisting Gong Eun Tae. With his hands clasped and his eyes sparkling, he approaches legal team member Jin Hae Joo (Ok Ja Yeon) with a “suspicious contract” in hand. Despite his rather unreasonable request, Yang Joon Ho remains completely unfazed, while Jin Hae Joo cannot hide her disbelief at his audacity.

Meanwhile, Park Ki Tae (Hong Jin Ki) appears visibly troubled, hinting at another incident to come. The contrasting reactions of Lee Ji Hye (Ha Yul Ri) and Jang Hyang Eun (Baek Yae In) as they listen to the dejected Park Ki Tae also draw attention. While Lee Ji Hye looks at him with concern, Jang Hyang Eun offers some blunt advice with a firm expression. What kind of crisis awaits Sales Team 5?

Episodes 5 and 6 of “The Ordinary Jackpot” will be released on September 24 at 6 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.

Kong Hyo Jin’s Company Retreat Turns Into A Life-Or-Death Crisis In “A Bona Fide Killer”

MBC’s “A Bona Fide Killer” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “A Bona Fide Killer” is an action drama about a working mother with a lethal job who is fighting to protect her work-life balance. Kong Hyo Jin stars as Yu Bo Na, the seemingly ordinary manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, who is secretly the legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.”

Spoilers

Previously, Yu Bo Na resumed her life as the legendary sniper Kingfisher while continuing her day job as the manager of Sales Team 3. It was also revealed that the seemingly ordinary department is actually a covert team of specialists who eliminate dangerous criminals through methods ranging from staged accidents and hacking to poisoning.

Ahead of the episode, newly released stills capture Sales Team 3 enjoying a company retreat ahead of an important client meeting, dressed in matching outfits.

One photo shows Yu Bo Na savoring a rare break from housework and parenting. During a dart game to decide the dinner menu, she becomes completely focused on the competition. Holding the dart with perfect form, she displays the precision expected of a legendary one-shot, one-kill sniper.

However, the mood quickly shifts as the team finds itself facing danger. Kim Bong Pal (Sung Dong Il) stands fearlessly with his arms spread wide despite having a gun pointed directly at him. Usually known for his easygoing personality and self-deprecating humor, viewers are left wondering how he’ll reveal the combat skills he’s kept hidden.

Meanwhile, Ki Young Do (Mu Jin Sung) is bleeding as someone helps him walk, raising questions about who attacked him.

Elsewhere, Bong Tae Min (Kim Nam Hee) and Oh Hyun Nam (Ha Yul Ri) hide together while carefully surveying the scene. Bong Tae Min covers Oh Hyun Nam’s mouth to signal her to stay silent, while she suppresses her panic and quietly follows his lead, leaving viewers eager to find out what happened.

With suspicious evidence discovered at the pension where the team is staying, curiosity is mounting over what exactly unfolds during the retreat and what crime lies behind the unfolding chaos.

The production team shared, “What begins as a seemingly peaceful company retreat will quickly spiral into an unpredictable, life-or-death crisis. Along with Yu Bo Na’s deadly killer instincts, each member of Sales Team 3 will finally reveal the true extent of their hidden combat abilities. Please look forward to seeing how they join forces and showcase their unique strengths.”

Ahn Bo Hyun’s Reunion With Former Police Instructor Jung Eun Chae Begins With A Bomb Crisis In “Flex X Cop 2”

“Flex x Cop 2” has unveiled new stills ahead of its premiere tonight!

In “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir turned detective who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes whenever an investigation reaches a dead end, while Jung Eun Chae plays veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

Ahead of the drama’s premiere, “Flex x Cop 2” unveiled new stills showing Jin Yi Soo caught in a life-threatening crisis from the very first episode.

The newly released images show Jin Yi Soo casually strolling through his family’s Hansoo Department Store alongside his Violent Crimes Unit 1 teammates Park Joon Young (Kang Sang Jun) and Choi Kyung Jin (Kim Shin Bi). However, after his sharp detective instincts kick in and he notices something suspicious, he approaches to inspect a mysterious object himself.

The moment he does, Park Joon Young and Choi Kyung Jin turn pale and urgently signal for him not to move.

The scene unfolds after Jin Yi Soo and his teammates respond to an anonymous tip and discover an improvised explosive device. However, as Jin Yi Soo accidentally touches the bomb, he finds himself unable to let go, as doing so could cause the entire department store to explode.

The stills also introduce Joo Hye Ra—Jin Yi Soo’s former fearsome instructor at the police academy, now the head of the National Police Agency’s counterterrorism team—arriving at the scene in tactical police gear and coming face-to-face with the now human ticking time bomb.

With Jin Yi Soo targeted by a terrorist and reunited with Joo Hye Ra under life-or-death circumstances, anticipation is high to see how the two will overcome the crisis.

The production team shared, “Season 2 will feature a series of cases that only a chaebol detective like Jin Yi Soo could encounter. From the scale of the incidents to their highly unconventional settings, viewers can look forward to cases unlike anything seen in a typical investigative drama, so please stay tuned.”
