Doh Kyung Soo In Talks For New Zombie Drama

Doh Kyung Soo may be returning to the small screen soon!

On July 16, Sports DongA reported that Doh Kyung Soo will be starring in the heartwarming comedy drama “We Are the Zombie” (literal title).

In response to the reports, a source from Doh Kyung Soo’s agency Blitzway Entertainment conveyed to Newsen, “It is one of the projects he is reviewing.”

Based on a webtoon, “We Are the Zombie” takes place at a large shopping mall that has been closed off due to an unknown virus. The drama will depict the story of those who have been left inside the mall, and rather than fighting with the zombies, the story captures the everyday lives of those trapped in the same location, focusing on themes of recovery and hope.

Doh Kyung Soo will reportedly play the role of Kim In Jong, who becomes swept up in an unexpected zombie incident after visiting the shopping mall with his friends. As a character who has taken on various part-time jobs to make a living, he hates work that is a hassle, but he has an unexpected yet warm charm.

Previously, Doh Kyung Soo impressed in the Disney+ original “The Manipulated” as the villain role of Ahn Yo Han. He is currently appearing on tvN’s new variety program “GBRB: Farm Operation.” In June, Doh Kyung Soo also confirmed that he will making a solo comeback in August.

Doh Kyung Soo Confirmed To Make Solo Comeback In August

Doh Kyung Soo is gearing up for his return as a solo artist!

On June 15, Xportsnews reported that Doh Kyung Soo is currently preparing a new solo album slated for release in August.

In response to the report, his agency Blitzway Entertainment confirmed, “Doh Kyung Soo is scheduled to release a new solo album in August.”

The upcoming album will mark Doh Kyung Soo’s first solo release in approximately one year and one month, following his first full-length solo album “BLISS,” which was released in July 2025. He is also set to meet fans through a solo fan meeting in Japan on August 16.

In addition to his solo activities, Doh Kyung Soo has been actively promoting with EXO. Earlier this year, the group made its long-awaited return with its eighth full-length album “REVERXE” and is currently in the midst of its “EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon” concert tour.

Meanwhile, Doh Kyung Soo will also appear on tvN’s new variety show “GBRB: Farm Operation – Go Go Farm,” which premieres on June 19 at 8:35 p.m. KST.

tvN’s “GBRB: Farm Operation – Go Go Farm” has shared a new teaser!

Set on the beautiful Jeju Island, “GBRB: Farm Operation – Go Go Farm” follows Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo as they take on a “farm-tastic” ranch stay experience.

The newly released teaser shows Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo learning about livestock farming at a ranch on Jeju Island. Upon seeing a crying calf, Lee Kwang Soo expresses surprise, saying, “How can it say, ‘Moo,’ so perfectly?” Kim Woo Bin is also seen scattering feed for the cows.

The teaser also shows Doh Kyung Soo showing affection for a calf while feeding it milk. In one scene, Lee Kwang Soo expresses satisfaction, saying, “This is the kind of farm experience I had imagined.”

However, the good times don’t last long as Lee Kwang Soo is soon shocked to find one area filled with cow dung. He exclaims, “So you’re saying this is all poop right now?” He and Kim Woo Bin, overwhelmed by the smell, are seen gagging and covering their noses.

In one scene, Lee Kwang Soo bursts into anger, saying, “Why bother cleaning it up if they’re just going to poop again anyway?” drawing laughter and raising curiosity about whether they will be able to win the “war against cow dung.”

Faced with the unexpected situation, Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo freeze and look toward the ranch owner for help—only for him to nervously respond, “The fence was tied up though… did they somehow get loose?”

Completely unaware of the trio’s growing panic, the runaway cows leisurely roam free outside the fence, raising anticipation for the hilariously bumpy ranch life that awaits them.
