September Individual Rookie Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual rookie idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idols, using big data collected from August 2 to September 2.

RESCENE absolutely dominated the list for September, with the group’s five members sweeping all of the top five spots.

Woni defended her position at first place with a brand reputation index of 2,857,659, marking a 13.93 percent increase in her score since last month. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “Like Woni” and “superstar,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “lovely,” “advertise,” and “cheer on.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.32 percent positive reactions.

Zena jumped to second place with a brand reputation index of 1,276,749, marking a 12.26 percent rise in her score since August.

Liv climbed to third place with a brand reputation index of 1,107,096, marking a 0.53 percent increase in her score since last month.

Meanwhile, Minami came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 1,032,418 for September.

Finally, May rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 977,044, marking a 2.49 percent rise in her score since August.

ATEEZ has won a fifth music show trophy for “BAD”!

On the August 22 episode of MBC’s “Music Core,” the candidates for first place were Stray Kids’ “This & That,” ATEEZ’s “BAD,” and KiiiKiii’s “Pop Off Pop Off.” ATEEZ ultimately took the win with a total of 7,322 points.

AND2BLE’s Kim Gyuvin And TWS’s Dohoon To Step Down As “Music Core” MCs

AND2BLE’s Kim Gyuvin and TWS’s Dohoon will be stepping down as MCs of MBC’s “Music Core.”

On August 7, the program announced that Kim Gyuvin and Dohoon will be leaving their MC positions after serving for approximately one year and five months. Their final broadcast will air on August 22.

The two idols joined “Music Core” as MCs on March 1, 2025, and have hosted the weekly music show ever since.

Ahead of his final broadcast, Kim Gyuvin shared, “It was truly an honor to be given such a meaningful and precious opportunity. It was even more special because I got to share it with Dohoon and A-NA. This experience has become a valuable source of growth for me, and I’ll cherish these memories for the rest of my life. I’d like to sincerely thank the production staff for all their hard work, and I’m so happy I was able to bring joy to our fans. Thank you to everyone who has always watched over and supported us.”

Dohoon also reflected on his time as an MC, saying, “My time on ‘Music Core’ was incredibly meaningful. It allowed me to learn more about myself and grow even further. Since hosting the show every week had become part of my routine, it’s especially bittersweet to say goodbye, but I think all the memories I made here will stay with me for a long time.”

He continued, “I’ll use these memories as motivation to continue growing and return as an even better version of TWS’s Dohoon. I’d like to sincerely thank all the viewers, our fans 42 [TWS’s fandom], and every member of the ‘Music Core’ staff who always took such good care of me for all the love and support you’ve shown me.”

Kim Gyuvin and Dohoon’s final appearance as MCs will air on August 22 at 3:20 p.m. KST.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual rookie idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idols, using big data collected from July 5 to August 5.

RESCENE once again dominated the list, with the group’s five members claiming five of the top seven spots for August. Woni continued her reign at first place with a brand reputation index of 2,508,173, marking a 58.25 percent increase in her score since July.

High-ranking phrases in Woni’s keyword analysis included “LOVE ATTACK” and “REMINE,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “confident,” “cheer on,” and “cute.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.60 percent positive reactions.

CORTIS’s Keonho jumped to second place after seeing an 117.18 percent increase in his brand reputation index, bringing his total score to 1,429,603 for August.

ILLIT’s Wonhee came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 1,406,679, marking a 62.18 percent rise in her score since July.

RESCENE’s Minami took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 1,343,118, marking a 34.81 percent increase in her score since last month.

Finally, RESCENE’s Zena rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,137,350, marking an 89.58 percent rise in her score since July.

High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “Geoje,” “YouTube,” and “Pretty Girl,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “hot,” “charming,” and “stand out.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.95 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, RESCENE’s Minami shot to second place after seeing a whopping 243.83 percent rise in her brand reputation index, bringing her total score to 996,332 for July.

ILLIT’s Wonhee took third place with a brand reputation index of 867,347, while CORTIS’s Keonho came in fourth with a score of 658,251.

Finally, RESCENE’s Zena leaped to fifth place after seeing a staggering 536.05 percent increase in her brand reputation index, bringing her total score to 599,945.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 755 boy group members, using big data collected from May 20 to June 20,

BTS’s Jimin continued his reign at the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,596,023. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Busan concert,” and “homecoming,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “happy,” “special,” and “joyful.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.55 percent positive reactions.

BTS’s Jungkook took second place with a brand reputation index of 5,011,439, while Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon ranked third with a score of 4,229,246.

BTS’s Jin came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,478,836, and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon rounded out the top five with a score of 2,206,883.

High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “cheek fat,” “It’s Me,” and “techno,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “mature,” “cute,” and “advertise.” Wonhee’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.05 percent positive reactions.

Hearts2Hearts’ Ian took second place with a brand reputation index of 280,271, and CORTIS’s Keonho ranked third with a score of 188,707.

Get ready for a fun episode of “Amazing Saturday” with several idol guests!

The popular tvN variety show has revealed a sneak peek of its upcoming episode, which will feature TWS’s Dohoon, NCT WISH’s Sion, KickFlip’s Kyehoon, and KiiiKiii’s Kya as guests.

In the new preview, Dohoon shows off his cute side with his famous “OVERDRIVE” choreo, then switches things up with a sexy version of the viral challenge. Meanwhile, Sion charms with his Jeolla Province accent and impresses the cast with his lyric-guessing skills.

Kyehoon, on the other hand, gets playfully scolded by his JYP Entertainment labelmate DAY6’s Young K for needing to step up his game. Shin Dong Yup also jokes, “It’s a good thing [Kyehoon] became an idol; otherwise, he would definitely have become a big-time con artist.”

Finally, Kya shares that “Amazing Saturday” was a part of her childhood and has been around as long as she can remember.

The four idols’ episode of “Amazing Saturday” will air on April 25 at 7:30 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new preview below!
