“Four Hands, Two Sonatas” And “Dive Into You” Both Earn Their Highest Ratings Yet
Both “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” and “Dive into You” hit new personal highs in viewership last night!
On October 3, tvN’s “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” achieved its highest ratings yet ahead of its series finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the penultimate episode of the drama took first place in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcast networks, with an average nationwide rating of 8.7 percent.
Channel A’s “Dive into You” also continued its upward trend in viewership with its third episode, which rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 0.6 percent.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “A Love Other Than Yours” dipped to a new all-time low of 2.1 percent for its fifth episode.
Finally, JTBC’s “Fly High Butterfly” climbed to an average nationwide rating of 1.6 percent for its fifth episode.
KBS 2TV’s “Love on the Menu” did not air a new episode last night due to coverage of the Asian Games, but the drama will resume airing as usual on October 4.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
This month, NCT WISH’s latest Japanese single album “YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL” was certified double platinum for over 500,000 units shipped in Japan. According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units shipped, platinum at 250,000, and million at 1,000,000.
TXT’s new Japanese single album “Setsuna Hanabi,” ENHYPEN’s Korean mini album “THE SIN : BLISS,” RIIZE’s new Japanese single album “Sunburst,” TWS’s new Japanese single album “SODA SODA,” and NiziU’s Japanese EP “GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU” were all certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped in Japan each.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE’s latest Japanese EP “KAIKILOVE,” LE SSERAFIM’s Korean album “PUREFLOW” pt.1, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s Korean mini album “UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST” were all certified gold for over 100,000 units shipped in Japan each.

Circle Chart has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.
This month, CORTIS earned an official million certification for selling over 1 million copies of the Weverse version of their latest EP “GREENGREEN.”
Meanwhile, TXT’s Yeonjun’s “NO LABELS: PART 02,” i-dle’s “We made,” SEVENTEEN’s V8’s “V8,” and ILLIT’s “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” were all certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies each.
In the streaming category, HYNN’s 2019 ballad “The Lonely Bloom Stands Alone” was certified double platinum for surpassing 200 million streams.
Finally, LE SSERAFIM’s “Perfect Night” and HAON’s “Boong-Boong” (featuring Sik-K) were both certified platinum after reaching 100 million streams each.

ATEEZ’s Japanese single “BAD (Japanese Ver.),” IVE’s Japanese EP “LUCID DREAM,” and NCT WISH’s Japanese single album “YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL” were all certified platinum for over 250,000 units shipped in Japan each.
Finally, aespa’s Japanese EP “KISS N TELL,” ILLIT’s Japanese single “I Got Your Back,” and NiziU’s Japanese compilation album “Portfolio” were all certified gold for over 100,000 units shipped in Japan each.

ENHYPEN And RESCENE Earn Double Crowns On Circle Weekly Charts
Circle Chart has revealed its chart rankings for the week of August 16 to 22!
Album Chart
ENHYPEN achieved a double crown on this week’s charts, topping both the physical album chart and the digital download chart with their new mini album “THE SIN : BLISS” and its title track “Bloody Paradise.”
“THE SIN : BLISS” swept the top two spots on this week’s physical album chart: the regular version of the album debuted at No. 1, while the Weverse version charted separately at No. 2.
The next two spots on the chart went to CORTIS’s latest EP “GREENGREEN.” The Weverse version of the album re-entered the chart at No. 3, and the regular version climbed back up to No. 4.
Finally, the FANS version of Stray Kids’ latest mini album “THIS & THAT” re-entered the chart at No. 5.

ENHYPEN also topped the digital download chart with their new title track “Bloody Paradise,” which debuted at No. 1.

CORTIS’s “REDRED” held steady at No. 2 on the overall digital chart this week, while BIGBANG’s “BiiiG” debuted at No. 3.
I.O.I’s “Suddenly” took No. 4 for the week, with aespa’s “LEMONADE” rounding out the top five.

The top five songs on this week’s streaming chart were exactly the same as last week: “LOVE ATTACK” came in at No. 1, CORTIS’s “REDRED” at No. 2, I.O.I’s “Suddenly” at No. 3, aespa’s “LEMONADE” at No. 4, and RESCENE’s remake of “Pretty Girl” at No. 5.

The top five songs on this week’s global K-pop chart were also exactly the same as last week. No less than four dramas soared to new all-time highs in viewership last night!
On August 9, KBS 2TV’s new series “Love on the Menu” broke past the 15 percent mark to earn its highest viewership ratings to date. According to Nielsen Korea, the sixth episode of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 15.1 percent, making it the most-watched show of any kind to air on Sunday.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “The Husband” ended by achieving the highest ratings of its entire run for its series finale, which scored a nationwide average of 8.5 percent.
tvN’s “Spooky in Love” set a new personal record by climbing to an average nationwide rating of 6.2 percent for its latest episode, while JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” similarly rose to its own all-time high of 6.1 percent ahead of the final week of its run.

On August 2, tvN’s “Spooky in Love” wrapped up the first half of its run on its highest viewership ratings yet. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the drama took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 6.0 percent.
KBS 2TV’s “Love on the Menu,” which was the most-watched show of any kind to air on Sunday, also soared to its highest ratings to date. The fourth episode of the drama climbed to an average nationwide rating of 13.3 percent.
JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” rose to an average nationwide rating of 5.4 for its latest episode, while KBS 2TV’s “The Husband” scored a nationwide average of 7.2 percent ahead of the final week of its run.

ILLIT And LE SSERAFIM Earn RIAJ Platinum Certifications For Streaming In Japan
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!
In 2020, the RIAJ implemented a new certification system for online streaming of songs, as an addition to its pre-existing certification systems for physical album shipments and digital download sales. According to the new system, songs are certified silver once they reach 30 million streams, gold at 50 million streams, and platinum at 100 million streams.
This month, both ILLIT’s 2025 Japanese digital single “Almond Chocolate” and LE SSERAFIM’s 2024 Korean hit “CRAZY” were officially certified platinum after surpassing 100 million streams each in Japan.
