Lee Jun Young has personally announced his plans to enlist in the military.

On June 14, Lee Jun Young took to Instagram to post a handwritten letter announcing that he would be enlisting on July 21.

After noting in his letter that he was already on his 10th draft, Lee Jun Young also shared a photo of the crumpled-up drafts that he had discarded.

His full letter is as follows:

Hello. This is Lee Jun Young.

After spending months agonizing over how to start [this letter], I’ve finally ended up personally writing these words.
This is already my 10th draft. Hahaha!

Right around this time, you’ve probably finished watching Episode 6 of “Reborn Rookie” and are getting ready for bed, right? 
Thank you for tuning in today as well.
Mm… rather than announcing the news through an article, I thought it would be better for me to tell you personally, which is why I’m writing this letter.
I never imagined that I’d be conveying this kind of news myself.

Yes! I’m enlisting on July 21.
Before I learned my enlistment date, I thought, ‘It’s no big deal to go!’ But after I received notice of the date, for the first time in a long while, I found myself having a lot on my mind.
I also spent a lot of time worrying about how to break the news to you all. Now that I’m writing this letter word by word, I think my heart is feeling a little lighter.
I will go and return in good health while staying true to myself.

Jeong Sewoon Announces Military Enlistment Date

Jeong Sewoon will be enlisting in the military.

On June 1, his agency CAMWUS announced that Jeong Sewoon will begin his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier on June 23. The agency also shared that the time and location of his enlistment will remain private and that no official events will be held on the day.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all members of LUCKY for your continued love and support for Jeong Sewoon.

Jeong Sewoon will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Republic of Korea Army on June 23 to fulfill his mandatory military service.

In accordance with the artist’s wishes, the location and time of his enlistment will not be disclosed, and no official event will be held on the day of his enlistment. As the entrance ceremony is a private occasion shared with many fellow enlistees and their families, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site in person.

During his military service, letters may be sent to us through the same method previously announced on the official fan cafe, and we will make sure all letters are delivered to him.

SF9’s Zuho Announces Military Enlistment

SF9 member and actor Zuho will enlist in the military this month!

On May 8, Zuho’s agency Haewadal Entertainment announced that Zuho will enter the Nonsan Army Training Center on May 11 to complete his basic military training before serving as an active-duty soldier in the army.

Through his agency, Zuho shared, “Although I am enlisting a bit late due to my various activities, I will fulfill my national defense duties with even more sincerity and return.” He added, “I plan to continue my active career as both a singer and an actor after my discharge. I will continue to show a consistent side of myself so that I can always provide joy to fans who wait for me. I will return as a more mature person who will never disappoint.”

Zuho debuted with SF9 in 2016 and began his acting career in 2024. He has appeared in various web dramas such as “Meal Kid,” “Heartbeat Broadcast Accident,” “Love in Present Progressive” (literal titles), and more. Additionally, as a singer, he successfully held solo concerts both domestically and internationally, earning recognition as an “all-round entertainer” who moves seamlessly between singing and acting.

Lee Jae Wook will be enlisting in the military!

On May 4, STARNEWS reported that Lee Jae Wook will be enlisting in the military by entering the recruit training center this coming May 18.

In response to the report, Lee Jae Wook’s agency log studio confirmed, “Lee Jae Wook will be enlisting as an active duty soldier on May 18.”

Born in 1998, Lee Jae Wook starred in numerous projects since his debut through “Memories of the Alhambra” including “Search: WWW,” “Extraordinary You,” “I’ll Go to You When the Weather is Nice,” “Alchemy of Souls,” “Last Summer,” and more.
