Watch: Son Suk Ku And Nagayama Eita Get Entangled Through A Serial Murder Case In “The Blue Road” Teasers

Netflix’s upcoming drama “The Blue Road” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!

“The Blue Road” is the latest project from director Han Jun Hee, who helmed the “D.P.” series and the film “Coin Locker Girl.” The film follows the story of two detectives tracking a series of murders that occur across both Korea and Japan.

Son Suk Ku plays Kim Seok, a detective with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Mobile Investigation Unit, while Nagayama Eita portrays Inose, a detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigation Division. The two, who possess contrasting personalities and investigative styles, find their paths intertwined by a recurring case that transcends national borders.

The poster features Kim Seok and Inose standing in the back alleys of Japan and Korea, respectively. Behind them appear mysterious messages written in both Korean and Japanese. The bodies, found with their limbs twisted, and the messages left at the scenes serve as the key clues connecting the serial murders.

Watch: Son Suk Ku And Nagayama Eita Get Entangled Through A Serial Murder Case In “The Blue Road” Teasers插图

In the trailer, the process of the two detectives tracking the case in their respective locations is shown through rapid cross-cutting. Phrases written in Korean and Japanese using the victims’ blood are discovered at the scenes, and Kim Seok and Inose delve into the fact that the crimes are spanning across both countries.

There is a distinct difference in how they approach the investigation. Kim Seok pursues suspects by pushing through crowds, while Inose clings to the case with explosive emotions. Notably, a scene featuring a bloodied and collapsed Kim Seok with Inose looking down at him suggests that their relationship is not merely one of cooperation.

Kim Shin Rock joins the cast as Lee Yoon Ok, a Zainichi Korean businesswoman. With a mysterious tiger painting appearing in the background of the case, a major question remains as to how Lee Yoon Ok, the two detectives, and the serial murders are all connected.

“The Blue Road” is set to make its world premiere in the On Screen section at the 31st Busan International Film Festival, which will be held from October 6 through 15. Watch: Jeon Do Yeon, Zo In Sung, Cho Yeo Jeong, And Sul Kyung Gu Become Dangerously Entangled In Trailer For “Possible Love”

Lee Chang Dong’s upcoming film “Possible Love” has unveiled its main trailer!

“Possible Love” tells the story of two married couples—a laid-off worker and his wife, along with a documentary filmmaker and her husband—whose lives become intertwined. As they meet to film a documentary, they are forced to confront their contrasting lives and hidden desires.

Notably, “Possible Love” marks award-winning director Lee Chang Dong’s first new film in eight years.

The newly released trailer opens on Mi Ok (Jeon Do Yeon) walking a wooded path alone, then cuts to her with her family in a car, where she breaks down into tears after her husband Ho Seok (Sul Kyung Gu) tells her it’s okay to cry.

Next, Mi Ok is seen filming an interview for Ye Ji (Cho Yeo Jeong)’s documentary, discussing a past strike. Ye Ji cautiously expresses interest in interviewing Mi Ok’s husband Ho Seok as well, but Mi Ok awkwardly replies that he won’t agree to it, hinting at the subtle emotional distance between them.

Later, Ye Ji tells her husband Sang Woo (Zo In Sung), “I’m trying to love those people. I’m a documentary filmmaker.” True to her words, the two couples come together for a friendly meal. However, that heartwarming atmosphere is short-lived: Sang Woo soon highlights the gap that exists between the couples by pointing out, “You’re different from those people.”

At Ye Ji’s suggestion, the four of them take off on a summer vacation that will change their lives irrevocably.

Son Ye Jin, Ji Chang Wook, And Nana Get Entangled In A Dangerous Wager In New Drama “The Scandal”

Netflix’s upcoming drama “The Scandal” has unveiled the first glimpse of Son Ye Jin, Ji Chang Wook, and Nana in character!

“The Scandal” depicts the daring and dangerous love game between Lady Cho (Son Ye Jin), a woman whose exceptional skills far exceed the confines of the women’s quarters, and Cho Won (Ji Chang Wook), the greatest playboy of Joseon. Their risky bet ensnares another woman, Hui Yeon (Nana), who becomes entangled in their escalating deceit.

Son Ye Jin plays Lady Cho, who proposes a secret wager. Lady Cho has buried deep within herself the dreams and desires she was unable to fulfill while living within the limitations of an era when, despite her exceptional talents, she could do nothing simply because she was a woman.

In one still, Lady Cho is seen with her hair down, dressed in a traditional undershirt, and holding a tobacco pipe. Her appearance contrasts with that of a respectable noblewoman. Son Ye Jin will portray Lady Cho’s captivating side as she conceals her desires, as well as her strategic nature.

The stills also introduce Ji Chang Wook as Cho Won, Joseon’s greatest ladies’ man. A talented man from a prestigious family who is blessed with striking looks, Cho Won loses contact with Lady Cho, his cousin and writing companion with whom he openly exchanged letters since childhood. He then begins living his life in pursuit of pleasure and fun. Years later, after receiving another letter from Lady Cho, he takes part in a dangerous wager to obtain what he wants. Ji Chang Wook will portray Cho Won’s various emotions, from his obsession with desire to his free-spirited charm and the love he holds in his heart.

Nana plays Hui Yeon, a young widow. Hui Yeon loses her husband before they can even hold their wedding ceremony and is unable to freely choose how to live her own life because she is expected to uphold her chastity. While living with a sense of resignation, she meets Cho Won, who enters her life and unknowingly becomes the subject of the wager between Lady Cho and Cho Won.

Further stills show Lady Cho, Cho Won, and Hui Yeon writing or reading letters. The process through which they form relationships and change through their exchanges is expected to be one of the work’s key points of interest.

Director Jung Ji Woo offered a hint about the three characters, saying, “All three have a wide gap between the ‘me others see’ and the ‘hidden me.’ The psychological tension of pushing and pulling among the three as they risk being discovered or secretly observe one another will create a compelling spectacle.”

“The Scandal” is scheduled to premiere on September 18.

Shin Seung Ho, Kang Ki Young, And Kim Si Ah Find Themselves Entangled In Koo Kyo Hwan’s Strange New Reality In “Reawaken Man: The Red”

The upcoming film “Reawaken Man: The Red” has unveiled new character posters!

Based on a webtoon, “Reawaken Man: The Red” follows Seok Hwan (Koo Kyo Hwan), an unemployed job seeker whose only qualification is his unfounded confidence. After dying, he discovers that he has the ability to come back to life 72 hours later. As he learns about his extraordinary power, he becomes the target of a mysterious pursuit.

The posters capture each character’s distinct personality as well as the relationships between them.

First, Seok Hwan’s poster bears the line, “Don’t worry. Even if I die, I’ll come back to life.” Alongside Seok Hwan’s seemingly fearless attitude toward death, the poster teases the relentless action he will unleash throughout the film. As a character with the unique ability to grow stronger each time he dies, it remains to be seen how his abilities will come into play.

The poster for Black (Shin Seung Ho), the mysterious figure pursuing Seok Hwan, exudes an entirely different atmosphere. The weighty line, “In the end, you and I are the same,” is paired with his imposing physique. It remains to be seen what exactly the nature of the relationship between Seok Hwan and Black is.

Seok Hwan’s only friend, Young Ha (Kang Ki Young), is also an important character. His poster, which features the line, “Are you out of your mind? You were out of contact for three days!” offers a glimpse of Young Ha’s bewildered reaction to his friend’s sudden change. Young Ha becomes entangled in an unexpected incident after learning that Seok Hwan has the ability to resurrect.

The poster for Ye Rin (Kim Si Ah), Seok Hwan’s younger sister and steadfast supporter, reveals her unwavering faith in him. Along with the line, “Something must have happened to him, I’m telling you,” she gazes ahead with unwavering determination.

While each character poster captures a different atmosphere, they all share the common thread of characters who are intertwined through Seok Hwan.

Netflix’s upcoming drama “Mousetrap” has unveiled new stills featuring its cast!

Based on a webtoon, “Mousetrap” is a thriller about a reclusive novelist who loses everything—his name, identity, and fortune—to a mysterious man known only as “The Rat.” To take back his life, he forges an unlikely alliance with the loan shark who once pursued him. Together, they embark on an intense pursuit in which the boundary between reality and deception collapses and deeper hidden truths emerge.

In her character trailer, Kyung Hee starts off by boasting, “I achieved it all. A million subscribers, a younger husband who always treats me tenderly, and even a dream home. But one day, nasty rumors started spreading about my husband. I thought they couldn’t be true. There’s no way my Hong would do that. So I tried following him. Since I needed to check with my own two eyes.”

Meanwhile, Kim Ji Hun will star as Lim Jae Hong, Kyung Hee’s “boy toy” younger husband.

His character trailer begins with Jae Hong introducing himself with his stage name as “actor Cha Eun Bin.” “Ah, would you like an autograph?” he asks cheerfully, before awkwardly realizing, “Oh, [you want] my wife’s autograph?”

When asked about his neighbor Soo Jung (Cho Yeo Jeong), he insists, “Soo Jung is really just my neighbor. I gave her a ride one time; that’s all that’s happened between us.” He then drops his smile as he adds, “But you really can’t tell my wife about this,” before concluding, “No one loves their family as much as I do.”

Cho Yeo Jeong will play the role of Ahn Soo Jung, the elegant dermatologist who lives next door to influencer couple Kyung Hee and Jae Hong.

In her character trailer, Soo Jung seems to be hiding something as she says, “The new neighbors who just moved in? I don’t know much about them either. Just that our kids go to the same school? That’s about it. I don’t want to get too involved with that family. I just want my child to reach the place she wants to go. That’s enough for me.”

Kim Jae Chul will play Joo Bo Sung, a dermatologist who has moved out of his house and is currently in the midst of divorcing Soo Jung.

I’m thinking of having her do [the interior design for] my office as well. I want to become friends with her.”

The final character posters introduce the two couples’ daughters. Kyung Hee and Jae Hong’s daughter Ye Ji (Jeon Si Hyun) wears headphones and an innocent smile, while Soo Jung and Bo Sung’s daughter Min Seo (Do Yeong Seo) exudes an entirely different aura as she clutches a large suitcase with a blank expression.
