Ha Seok Jin, EXID’s Hani, And More Dish On Their Upcoming Drama “Love On The Menu”

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Love on the Menu” has shared a glimpse of its stars behind the scenes of filming!

“Love on the Menu” tells the story of Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (EXID’s Hani), two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they piece together the fragments of their broken families and create the warmest table of life together.

Newly released behind-the-scenes photos from filming capture the cast’s dedication to their roles and the warm atmosphere on set. Even during breaks, the hardworking Ha Seok Jin keeps his script in hand, poring over his lines and immersing himself in his character’s emotions.

Revealing just how committed he is to the drama, Ha Seok Jin shared, “Because this is a long-running series, even though focus in individual scenes is important, I’m also paying attention to managing my stamina in order to maintain an overall rhythm.”

Meanwhile, despite being surrounded by countless staff, Hani displays laser focus as she gets into character even before filming begins.

“In spite of the busy schedule, thanks to the warm atmosphere on set, I’m enjoying every moment of filming,” said Hani. “I”m also learning a lot while working together [with the cast and crew].”

Bae Jung Nam similarly commented, “The atmosphere on set is so great that I’m able to relax and act comfortably.”

When the cameras aren’t rolling, Park You Na brightens the set with her cheerful real-life personality, which is the polar opposite of her frosty character Han Gyu Young.

On working together with co-star Kwon Hae Hyo, Park You Na remarked, “He always eases my nerves by making fun jokes, and he is also generous with his acting advice, so I’m truly grateful to him.”

Kwon Hae Hyo also spoke enthusiastically about his chemistry with his on-screen wife Yoon Yoo Sun. “The more time goes by, the more I come to realize that working with genuinely kind colleagues truly puts me at ease,” said the veteran actor. “In that regard, Yoon Yoo Sun is a colleague who always gives me an unchanging sense of trust and stability.”

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Love on the Menu” has shared a sneak peek of Ha Seok Jin and EXID’s Hani’s romance!

“Love on the Menu” tells the story of Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), two former loves who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they piece together the fragments of their broken families and create the warmest table of life together.

The newly released teaser offers a glimpse of the journey of Kim Moo Jin, who gave up everything for love, and Han Gyu Rim, who gave up love for the sake of her family. The video begins with Han Seo Hyun (Lee Joo Yeon) asking Kim Moo Jin what’s so special about Han Gyu Rim. As if to answer her question, the teaser then cuts to Han Gyu Rim rushing off a bus in order to help a collapsed Park Soo Nam (Kang Ae Shim) as Kim Moo Jin watches from a distance.

When Kim Moo Jin and Han Gyu Rim end up working part-time at the same place, they gradually grow closer. Kim Moo Jin, who is inexperienced in love, hilariously wonders if he should use his status as a chaebol heir to his advantage, asking, “Should I tell her that I’m well-off? No, not just well-off, but a chaebol heir. Should I just spill the beans?”

Later, Kim Moo Jin gets endearingly jealous and complains to Han Gyu Rim, “Are you that kind and friendly to everyone? Can’t you just be nice to me and not anyone else?”

Han Gyu Rim, who is busy hopping between part-time jobs in order to make ends meet, declares that she doesn’t have the time or the means to date anyone right now. However, the smitten Kim Moo Jin remains undeterred, and he tells her, “All you need to do is keep feeling butterflies around me. It’s okay if you don’t get caught, and it’s even better if you do.”

When cracks begin to form in their relationship due to external circumstances, Han Gyu Rim attempts to push Kim Moo Jin away by saying, “If you don’t want to get dragged down into this cesspool with me, run away as quickly as possible.” But despite her efforts to keep her distance, the teaser ends with Kim Moo Jin asking if he can hug her before warmly pulling her into his arms.

Ha Seok Jin And EXID’s Hani New Drama Confirms Supporting Cast Lineup

The upcoming drama “Love Is Coming” (literal title) has revealed its supporting cast lineup!

“Love Is Coming” is a family romance drama that follows two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect while navigating family responsibilities, old wounds, and life’s hardships, they begin a journey toward healing, growth, and a second chance at love.

Previously, Ha Seok Jin and EXID’s Hani were confirmed to star in the drama. Now, Park You Na, Bae Jung Nam, Min Jin Woong, Lee Joo Yeon, Bae Youn Kyu, and Jung Bo Min have joined the lineup.

Park You Na will play Han Gyu Young, the younger sister of Han Gyu Rim (Hani). Unlike her older sister, Han Gyu Young has virtually nothing in common with her. A practical realist who always plans for the future and avoids situations that put her at a disadvantage, she is expected to bring a relatable and grounded charm to the role.

Bae Jung Nam will star as Jo Heung Sik, Han Gyu Rim’s dependable longtime male friend. Living as his mother’s devoted “full-time child,” Jo Heung Sik cheerfully helps out with household chores and work at the side-dish shop, making him a reliable and upbeat presence in the lives of those around him.

Min Jin Woong will take on the role of Park Jung Woo, the CEO of a restaurant and Kim Moo Jin’s (Ha Seok Jin’s) closest friend. Having witnessed Kim Moo Jin and Han Gyu Rim’s relationship from the very beginning, Park Jung Woo is the ultimate meddler with a heart of gold—always ready to step in and lend a hand. He is expected to play a key role in the former couple’s reunion.

Lee Joo Yeon will transform into Jang Seo Hyun, a talented and charismatic fashion designer. Having harbored feelings for Kim Moo Jin for many years, Jang Seo Hyun remains by his side even after becoming the head designer of a fashion brand. Torn between love and insecurity, she finds herself struggling with complicated emotions.

Bae Youn Kyu will play Han Gyu Oh, Han Gyu Rim’s younger brother. Blessed with striking visuals and natural acting talent, Han Gyu Oh leads a precarious double life that captures the attention of many. At home, however, he is a warm-hearted younger brother who provides unwavering support to Han Gyu Rim as she endures life’s hardships.

Lastly, Jung Bo Min will star as Kwon Hee Na, a lovable elementary school teacher. After unexpectedly crossing paths again with Han Gyu Oh, who left a lasting impression on her in the past, Kwon Hee Na begins to experience new and unfamiliar emotions. Honest about her feelings even in confusing situations, she is expected to bring a spirited and refreshing energy to the drama.

Ha Seok Jin and EXID’s Hani have been cast in KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “Love Is Coming” (literal title)!

The drama is penned by Lee Kyung Hee, who is known for acclaimed works such as “Uncontrollably Fond,” “The Innocent Man,” and “I’m Sorry, I Love You.”

Ha Seok Jin will play Kim Moo Jin, the owner-chef of an Italian restaurant who seems to have it all. Blessed with the perfect background and qualifications, Kim Moo Jin gradually falls deeply in love with Han Gyu Rim. Despite her repeated rejections, he pursues her wholeheartedly and eventually becomes her boyfriend. However, when she suddenly disappears without a trace, he is left with a deep emotional wound. After moving to Italy to study cooking, Kim Moo Jin returns eight years later and unexpectedly reunites with Han Gyu Rim, finding himself swept into a new twist of fate.

Hani takes on the role of Han Gyu Rim, an employee at a side-dish shop who shoulders the responsibility of supporting her family while battling through each demanding day.
