Kian84, Kim Yeon Koung, Lee Junho, And Kazuha Dish On Their Unforgettable Experience On “Kian’s Bizarre B&B 2”

An even wilder and more chaotic adventure is about to unfold in “Kian’s Bizarre B&B” Season 2!

“Kian’s Bizarre B&B” is a Netflix variety show in which Kian84 and his castmates run a one-of-a-kind guesthouse. Season 1 featured Kian84, BTS’s Jin, and Ji Ye Eun operating a unique lodging on the scenic island of Ulleungdo, offering guests an unforgettable hospitality experience. For Season 2, former volleyball player Kim Yeon Koung, 2PM’s Lee Junho, and LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha will be joining him.

This time, the second branch of “Kian’s Bizarre B&B” has been built deep in the mountains of Daegwallyeong in the middle of winter.

With more experience under his belt as a guesthouse owner, Kian84 is returning as a more thoughtful and mature(?) “seasoned owner” who is determined to better cater to his guests. Joining him are “passionate rookie employees” Kim Yeon Koung, Lee Junho, and Kazuha, who work hard to help their boss while also keeping him in check from time to time. Their lively dynamic is raising anticipation for the daily adventures at the second branch.

Ahead of opening the second branch, Kian84 said he felt a greater sense of responsibility and pressure. He shared, “At the second branch, I tried to communicate more with the guests. Living together with the guests gave me a chance to learn a lot about the things I was lacking. We put a lot of care into preparing this unique and enjoyable second branch of ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B,’ so I hope many people will come stay with us.”

Kim Yeon Koung is in charge of a lot of things: from keeping Kian84 in line and overseeing the guesthouse’s cleanliness to bringing plenty of energy as the resident mood maker. She remarked, “Almost nothing at ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ goes according to plan. I hope viewers will enjoy seeing how we handle unexpected situations and the stories we create with the guests. There’s plenty of laughter, as well as warm human connections and fun chemistry between the cast, so please enjoy it all the way to the end.”

Lee Junho will show off his sweet and capable side as an all-around employee who can do everything from cooking to cleaning, while also revealing his perfectionist tendencies as he tries to organize every situation flawlessly. He said, “’Kian’s Bizarre B&B’ was an unforgettable experience. I hope viewers will also put themselves in the hands of Boss Kian’s imagination. Since we experienced things that are difficult to encounter in everyday life, there will be plenty of unexpected fun, so please look forward to it.”

Kazuha is the youngest employee who not only gives everything her all but has also earned a reputation as the one who delivers “straight-to-the-point reality checks” to Kian84 and her fellow employees. She shared, “In a way, you’ll be able to see us gradually becoming stronger, almost like we’re in a survival game. Most of all, every guest had their own story, and I received a lot of inspiration and warm energy from them. There will be many stories that offer viewers comfort and courage, so I hope the show can become a ‘mealtime companion’ that families can comfortably enjoy together during Chuseok.”

PD Lee So Min added, “The second branch welcomed guests from diverse nationalities and professions, each with their own stories. Since Kian84 wanted to communicate more with the guests than he did at the first branch, they naturally spent more time eating, chatting, and playing games together. The setting of Daegwallyeong in the middle of winter, with its cold outdoors and long nights, naturally gave everyone more time to sit together in one space, share meals, play games, and talk.”

“Kian’s Bizarre B&B” Season 2 consists of 10 episodes and will be released over the course of three weeks, starting September 22. Stay tuned!

Kong Hyo Jin and Jung Jun Won, the lead stars of the recently released drama “A Bona Fide Killer,” have teamed up for a pictorial and interview with ELLE Korea!

“A Bona Fide Killer” is an action drama about a working mother with a lethal job who is fighting to protect her work-life balance. Kong Hyo Jin stars as Yu Bo Na, a legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher,” while Jung Jun Won plays Kwon Tae Sung, Bo Na’s husband and a news reporter tasked with uncovering the truth behind Kingfisher’s return.

The two actors shared their affection for the project. Kong Hyo Jin said, “’A Bona Fide Killer’ felt like a superhero story to me.” She continued, “I was drawn to Bo Na’s character because she’s a mother, wife, and daughter-in-law who also lives a completely different life as a killer.”

Jung Jun Won also reflected on the drama, saying, “From Tae Sung’s perspective, this is ultimately a story about family.” He added, “I focused on understanding the character through his love for his family and his determination to protect the people who matter most to him.”

When asked why she chose the project, Kong Hyo Jin explained, “I found the way each episode introduces a new case and gradually resolves it to be very engaging.” She further shared, “Beyond the satisfying good-versus-evil narrative, I think mothers, married women, and even those preparing for marriage will relate to Bo Na’s way of life and find it cathartic.”

Jung Jun Won remarked, “The script was so entertaining that I thought I would want to watch it even if I weren’t part of the cast.” He added that the opportunity to work with Kong Hyo Jin was one of the biggest reasons he decided to join the drama, saying, “I trusted that no matter what kind of performance I gave, she’d naturally embrace it.”

Hwang In Youp And Hyeri Experience First Love In Upcoming Rom-Com “Dream To You”

ENA’s upcoming drama “Dream to You” has unveiled a new glimpse of Hwang In Youp and Hyeri’s school days!

“Dream to You” is a romantic comedy about the reunion of genius film director Woo Soo Bin (Hwang In Youp), who returns after achieving his dreams, and reporter Joo Yi Jae (Girl’s Day’s Hyeri), who has forgotten her own.

The newly released stills flash back to 15 years ago, when Woo Soo Bin and Joo Yi Jae were one another’s first love in high school. One photo captures Joo Yi Jae working hard at filming something while Woo Soo Bin, who shares her dream, stands steadfastly beside her.

Although the young Woo Soo Bin lived his life strictly confined to a world designed by his parents, he began dreaming his own dreams after meeting Joo Yi Jae towards the end of his teenage years. After achieving those dreams, he returns to Joo Yi Jae, who is now full of regret about the past and worn down by reality, to keep a promise from 15 years ago.

Hwang In Youp remarked, “[‘Dream to You’] is a drama that makes you ask yourself whether success as defined by the world really brings us true happiness.” He added, “As it’s a romantic comedy, there are truly lots of comic scenes sprinkled throughout the romance, so you’ll be able to enjoy watching it comfortably.”

Meanwhile, Hyeri shared why she was drawn to the drama, recalling, “The way the story unfolded while switching back and forth between the two characters’ past and present was interesting.” She continued, “When I read the beginning of the script, I became curious about how their story would progress, and I also found myself wanting to do the drama because it had been a long time since I’d been in a romantic comedy.”

“Dream to You” will premiere on July 13 at 10 p.m. KST.

tvN’s “GBRB: Farm Operation – Go Go Farm” has shared a new teaser!

Set on the beautiful Jeju Island, “GBRB: Farm Operation – Go Go Farm” follows Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo as they take on a “farm-tastic” ranch stay experience.

The newly released teaser shows Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Doh Kyung Soo learning about livestock farming at a ranch on Jeju Island. Upon seeing a crying calf, Lee Kwang Soo expresses surprise, saying, “How can it say, ‘Moo,’ so perfectly?” Kim Woo Bin is also seen scattering feed for the cows.

The teaser also shows Doh Kyung Soo showing affection for a calf while feeding it milk. In one scene, Lee Kwang Soo expresses satisfaction, saying, “This is the kind of farm experience I had imagined.”

However, the good times don’t last long as Lee Kwang Soo is soon shocked to find one area filled with cow dung. He exclaims, “So you’re saying this is all poop right now?” He and Kim Woo Bin, overwhelmed by the smell, are seen gagging and covering their noses.

In one scene, Lee Kwang Soo bursts into anger, saying, “Why bother cleaning it up if they’re just going to poop again anyway?” drawing laughter and raising curiosity about whether they will be able to win the “war against cow dung.”

The two actors showcased natural and lovely chemistry in this photo shoot that seems to capture the fluttering excitement of a spring day.

In the accompanying interview, when asked about his feelings on working with Kim Go Eun for the first time, Kim Jae Won said, “From our first meeting, Kim Go Eun told me it was okay to speak comfortably to her, so once I started using informal speech, we were able to become close quickly. Once we were on set, she created an atmosphere where she would accept everything even if I had 10 things to say, and I was very grateful for that. It was all thanks to her consideration. She never jumped to conclusions and always asked for my opinion. I learned so much from her regarding her attitude toward acting.”

Regarding her experience working with Kim Jae Won, Kim Go Eun replied, “It was my first time meeting a much younger junior as my acting partner. I had inner concerns, wondering, ‘If I joke around like this, will he take it seriously?’ or ‘If I say this, will it come across as a joke?’ When I’m with seniors, I feel much more like a playful little sister, so I even wondered if I should approach him more like a comfortable friend instead. Since I have worked with the director for a long time, both the director and I wanted to make sure Jae Won felt less like a stranger and could settle into the set more easily.”

When asked about his experience playing the role of Shin Soon Rok, Yumi’s final romantic interest, he replied, “At first, it felt like I was in a situation where a precious daughter, raised with abundant love in a large family, brings her boyfriend home to introduce him to everyone. It was as if I were that very boyfriend, with the entire family watching my every move. It was an honor to be part of the final journey of a project that has received so much love. Since Soon Rok is imprinted in people’s minds as a ‘unicorn-like’ younger man, I did feel some pressure, but it was definitely a pleasant kind of pressure.”

Regarding her experience playing the role of Yumi over the course of three seasons, Kim Go Eun expressed her special affection for the project, saying, “Yumi was the beginning of my 30s. It felt like the opening of a second chapter in my life. I loved the very fact that I existed within a charming drama where I could communicate with the cells, and because it was a project with such delicate elements of empathy, I often found myself thinking, ‘This is what our lives are like.’ I liked that it was a drama where we could share thoughts about the emotions one feels while dating—like, ‘Right, they shouldn’t do that. That’s so annoying.’”

She continued, “This third season features thoughts that are much closer to the daily life of a woman in her mid-to-late 30s. It contains subtleties that are different from one’s early-to-mid 30s. It is rare in Korea to carry a single drama through multiple seasons, so it was a very special experience, and I feel like I can now bring the grand finale to a close.”
