Lee Jae Wook And Shin Ye Eun Fall In Love After Meeting On An Island In “Doctor On The Edge”

ENA’s upcoming drama “Doctor on the Edge” has unveiled two romantic posters!

“Doctor on the Edge” will tell the love story of public health doctor Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), who is assigned to the notorious island Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), who is hiding a secret. After crossing paths on a remote island, they embark on a heartwarming journey of saving lives and learning about love as they get to know the island’s residents.

As Do Ji Eui actively avoids islands due to a past trauma, getting assigned to Pyeondong is his worst nightmare. However, he gradually begins to undergo a transformation after becoming entangled with Yook Ha Ri, a warm and caring nurse who has returned to her island hometown with a secret.

The newly released posters capture Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri sitting side by side and sharing a pair of earphones as they look out at the sea. Do Ji Eui’s gaze as he looks at Yook Ha Ri hints at the romance to come, while his troubled eyes as he faces the sea hints at the struggles he will endure due to his island-related trauma.

Netflix’s upcoming Japanese series “Soul Mate” has unveiled a new trailer and poster!

Written and directed by Hashizume Shunki, “Soul Mate” will tell a love story between two men that spans 10 years and traverses the cities of Berlin, Seoul, and Tokyo. Isomura Hayato will star as Ryu, a man who left everything behind in Japan, while Taecyeon will play Johan, a boxer who hasn’t been tending to his emotional wounds. After Johan happens to save Ryu’s life in a foreign church, the two men’s chance encounter winds up changing both of them forever as they gradually learn about the meaning of life and love.

Ryu, who was once a promising hockey player, flees from the guilt of inadvertently ruining his best friend’s life by escaping to Berlin, where his childhood friend Sumiko (Hashimoto Ai) lives. Desperate and unable to forgive himself, he wanders into a church and becomes trapped in a fire that nearly costs him his life. After he is rescued by Johan, the two men instantly feel drawn to one another despite hailing from different backgrounds and speaking different languages.

The newly released trailer offers a glimpse of Ryu and Johan’s decade-long emotional journey as they become once-in-a-lifetime “soulmates.” As they both encourage one another and clash fiercely at times, they start to imagine a life together, only for fate to twist their paths in unexpected and painful ways.

“Cabbage Your Life” Ratings Fall Slightly For 4th Episode

KBS 2TV’s “Cabbage Your Life” continues its relatively stable run.

According to Nielsen Korea, on April 16, the fourth episode of the Thursday drama dipped slightly to an average nationwide rating of 2.0 percent—returning to the show’s previous all-time low from its second episode two weeks ago.

“Cabbage Your Life” follows the chaotic story of Sung Tae Hoon (Park Sung Woong)’s family, who suddenly end up living in the village of Yeonriri, as they struggle to return to their original home of Seoul.
