Watch: Jung Yong Hwa Finds Hong Seung Hee Familiar Yet Suspicious In New Drama “Oh My Guard” Teaser

The upcoming romance drama “Oh My Guard” has unveiled its first teaser video!

“Oh My Guard” follows an unprecedented and unpredictable romance between Uhm Tae Bong (Jung Yong Hwa), a top actor with a fatal flaw, and Oh Hae Ra (Hong Seung Hee), a mysterious woman who believes she is Cha Hong Doo, the female lead of his drama.

Jung Yong Hwa takes on the role of Uhm Tae Bong, a renowned master of romance dramas who always refuses to film kissing scenes. Confident in both his striking looks and acting skills, Uhm Tae Bong is a top star who has a secret he cannot reveal to anyone. He is also a charismatic character with a knack for witty banter and a playful side that unexpectedly emerges at times.

The newly released teaser opens with “The Prince’s Bodyguard,” a drama-within-a-drama starring Uhm Tae Bong. It features a scene where the prince, believing someone is after his life, confesses to his bodyguard Cha Hong Doo, saying, “I trust that you will protect me.”

Oh Hae Ra is a passionate fan who is completely enamored with Uhm Tae Bong, whom she has only ever seen on TV. However, she rushes out with a firm resolve, feeling that if she misses this chance, she might never be able to meet him again. This sparks curiosity about the story behind Oh Hae Ra, who seems as though she has never stepped outside her home before.

A particularly noteworthy aspect of this video is the fact that “The Prince’s Bodyguard” heroine Cha Hong Doo and the real-life Oh Hae Ra are the same person. Furthermore, upon meeting Oh Hae Ra, Uhm Tae Bong cannot hide his confusion at the appearance of this suspicious woman who seems to know him so well, asking, “Who exactly are you?”

The series is co-directed by Director Yoon Jong Ho, who led the syndrome behind “Lovely Runner” and showcased his sophisticated directing skills in “A Bona Fide Killer,” and Director Lee Seung Hoon of “Doctor Shin.”

“Oh My Guard” is set to premiere on October 24 at 10:50 p.m. KST via cable channel Lifetime. Stay tuned!

Nam Ji Hyun Finds Her Conservative Values Challenged By Her Marketing Job In New Drama “Make Me Tingle”

Upcoming drama “Make Me Tingle” has unveiled new stills of Nam Ji Hyun in character!

“Make Me Tingle” is a chaotic coming-of-age romantic comedy about Gong Yeon Su (Nam Ji Hyun), who believes in love but has never truly figured out what it means for her, and Dokgo Dal (Kim Jae Yeong), a sex toy startup CEO who opens up a whole other world for her.

Nam Ji Hyun plays Gong Yeon Su, a conservative woman down to her bones. Raised as the eldest daughter of the family’s main branch, she grew up being taught to always conduct herself properly. She also faithfully upheld the principle that “men and women should not sit together after age 7” by attending an all-girls middle school, high school, and college in succession.

Although Gong Yeon Su holds conservative values, her profession is ironically that of a marketer, a job that requires her to read the times faster than anyone else. When she switches into marketer mode, Gong Yeon Su demonstrates an exceptional ability to respond quickly to changes and keenly spot trends, establishing herself as one of the top performers at her company. However, even Gong Yeon Su is faced with a challenging mission. Someone who is cautious even about physical affection with her boyfriend is assigned to market sex toys, a task that directly conflicts with her values.

To make matters more complicated, her new client Dokgo Dal, the CEO of a sex toy startup, has a bold and open-minded approach to love and does not necessarily see love and physical attraction as one and the same. As a result, the two have starkly different perspectives on love.

Meanwhile, the newly released stills offer an intriguing glimpse into the changes in Gong Yeon Su’s daily life. From the milestone moment of graduating from an all-girls middle school, high school, and college to achieve the so-called “triple crown of girls’ schools” to showing her focus as a professional marketer in the conference room and her inability to hide her flustered reaction when confronted with sex toys, Gong Yeon Su’s eventful moments heighten anticipation for the story ahead.

Watch: Kim Hye Joon Finds Herself Unexpectedly Falling For Kang Hoon In “My Bias, My Boss” Preview

tvN’s upcoming drama “My Bias, My Boss” has shared a sneak peek from its upcoming premiere!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “My Bias, My Boss” tells the story of the romance between Nam Da Reum (Kim Hye Joon), who joins a company to meet her longtime idol bias Lee Chan (Cha Woo Min), and the company’s CEO Kang Ha Gi (Kang Hoon).

The newly released preview from the drama’s first episode begins with Nam Da Reum watching Lee Chan’s group D.N.X at a concert with hearts in her eyes. She then gets a job at the fashion startup Apello in order to meet Lee Chan, who works there as a consultant—but in the process, she winds up getting close to someone unexpected.

As Nam Da Reum says in voice-over, “Someone once said that love is like an unexpected car crash,” she literally crashes into her new boss Kang Ha Gi at work. Amidst glimpses of her chaotic new work life, Kang Ha Gi asks her if there’s any particular reason she chose to work at Apello. Although she gives a professional answer about “wanting to find what I truly love,” Nam Da Reum’s love for Lee Chan is so apparent that someone calls her out on her obvious lie.

Although Nam Da Reum gets predictably excited over meeting her longtime bias, she is confused when she notices her heart fluttering around Kang Ha Gi. Meanwhile, someone tells Kang Ha Gi that it’s obvious he’s paying special attention to Nam Da Reum. Looking at her reflection in the mirror, Nam Da Reum scolds herself, “Are you crazy?” Similarly confused by his own racing heart, Kang Ha Gi wonders, “Could this be an arrhythmia?”
