Watch: Sunmi, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young, And VIXX’s Leo Take Over “Amazing Saturday” In Fun Preview
Get ready for a fun episode of “Amazing Saturday” featuring several idols who shaped the K-pop scene in the 2010s!
The popular tvN variety show has revealed a sneak peek of its upcoming episode, which will feature Sunmi, GIrls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young, and VIXX’s Leo (Jung Taek Woon) as guests.
The new preview begins by revealing that the theme for the episode is “Back to the 2010s.” Host Boom then assures Sunmi that “Amazing Saturday” cast members Kim Dong Hyun, Nucksal, and DAY6’s Young K will take care of promoting her new comeback song over the course of the show. But even without their help, Sunmi impresses everyone by revealing that she was able to catch most of the lyrics during the show’s signature guessing game.
Next, Tiffany proves she’s serious about promoting her upcoming musical “Yumi’s Cells,” even going so far as to become the first guest to hand out pamphlets to the cast on the show. Even after she’s already talked about the musical, Tiffany doesn’t miss an opportunity to promote it, and her bandmate Taeyeon explains, “She’s here on a mission today.”
Later, when the topic of Girls’ Generation’s recent unit HyoRiSoo comes up, Tiffany playfully suggests that it’s time for TaeTiSeo to step up and take them on. She and Taeyeon also take the floor to dance to TaeTiSeo’s iconic hit “Twinkle,” with Block B’s P.O hilariously stepping in to take Seohyun’s place.
Finally, Leo, who will be starring opposite Tiffany in the musical version of “Yumi’s Cells,” gets adorably nervous during the show. At one point, he wipes sweat off his forehead; at another, Tiffany explains that his energy is drained because he’s an extreme introvert. Leo gets so shy that he even asks Moon Se Yoon to help him explain the taste of a food dish he’s eating, only to have everyone point out with a laugh that Moon Se Yoon hasn’t eaten it yet.
Sunmi, Tiffany, and Leo’s episode of “Amazing Saturday” will air on July 18 at 7:30 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new preview below!

First Impressions: “Love Has Fireworks” Is A Fun C-Drama Of Self-Discovery And Romance
Home is where the heart is, but sometimes life doesn’t go exactly as one expects. When life gives you lemons, as bitter as they might be, you can only learn how to make lemonade. Modern C-drama “Love Has Fireworks” explores the difficulties any young woman or man can face when love, friendship, or work becomes a fierce competition. But, at the same time, that journey can ignite a path as bright as the biggest star. If you are interested in one of the most buzz-worthy shows of this month, here’s what you can expect so far!
Warning: spoilers ahead.
The story begins with Qian Fei (Wang Chu Ran), a beautiful and bright finance worker, who, despite everyone’s expectations for her, only has one goal: building a happy and stable family, forsaking all professional opportunities along the way. However, when she thinks she is about to achieve everything she has ever wanted, her long-time boyfriend dumps her out of the blue, breaking their engagement and all her dreams. Overnight, instead of the home she always wished for, she finds herself heartbroken, with a struggling mortgage, and even jobless.
However, the solution to all her problems, or at least to her financial issues, appears right at her door in the shape of Li Yi Fei (Tan Jian Ci), an elite investment director who is eager to make a name for himself outside of the shadow of his father’s business. He is sharp and handsome, and he won’t settle for less than he deserves. To get what he wants, he is willing to sell his house and his car, giving it all of his time and even his heart. Eventually, he ends up homeless and single, but with many ambitions and the ability to succeed.
And their first impressions are striking indeed. From the very moment the main leads cross paths, the chaos begins. Not one moment goes by between them without an accident or a surprise happening. Against all odds, by coincidence, luck, or fate, these two very different (and surprisingly similar) people end up living together as roommates in the house Qian Fei once thought would become her newlywed home. That’s how their daily cohabitation begins, giving them the chance to get to know each other in a way they could have never expected.
Behind Li Yi Fei’s cynical and detached persona, there’s a rather considerate and soft-hearted man who doesn’t easily open up to people but who would accept a free meal from his landlady at any time. As he gets more and more comfortable around Qian Fei, he lets his childish and cute true self come out more frequently, always ready to follow her lead in every goofy antic she pulls. In that sense, Tan Jian Ci, as a cranky but kind of dorky male lead, will always deliver. If you love his mature characters, then his comical acting is to die for.
On the other hand, Wang Chu Ran’s character lacks all sorts of personality, but that’s kind of the point in this early stage. Qian Fei starts off as a woman who centers her life around the idea of becoming a wife, simple-minded, and oblivious to reality. Once that changes, she rebuilds her future, but this time focusing on finding and working for her own dreams. Though she keeps a bit of her naive self, which makes her an easy target to some people, she is resilient enough to put herself together and push through the hardships of her life.
The romance, though, doesn’t spark right away. It takes its time to simmer and develop at a slow pace. In the first episodes, they go from slightly annoying roommates to reluctant friends and to partners in crime. Slowly but surely, the romantic tension and chemistry ignite from their natural companionship and mutual understanding, becoming the principle for their future relationship. The fact that both of them work in the same field only makes it easier for them to get closer, developing an admiration that gradually evolves into a crush.
And while the feelings are there, the main point of this show remains focused on their individual goals. Qian Fei is taking the reins of her career back into her hands, and Li Yi Fei is on track to ensure the success of his own company. Although he becomes a sort of life coach for Qian Fei, Li Yi Fei doesn’t become the spotlight in her life. Even though he seems like a professional rage-baiter, he is also ready to stand right next to her, pushing her further every time so she can shine and show what she is capable of.
After many ups and downs, this show is finally seeing the light, giving all the comfort and fun that two elite actors like Wang Chu Ran and Tan Jian Ci are capable of creating. The only downside might be the issue with the second-male lead, but if you can pass through the occasional tacky edition without being weirded out, you actually have a very enjoyable show on your screen.

“Reborn Rookie” tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group. Ahead of the drama’s premiere on May 30, Lee Jun Young (Hwang Jun Hyun), Lee Ju Myoung (Kang Bang Geul), Jeon Hye Jin (Kang Jae Gyeong), and Jin Goo (Kang Jae Seong), who are connected through the Choi Sung family in the drama, shared stories from the set and praised their teamwork.
Lee Jun Young, who plays soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun—a character who forms an unusual relationship with the Choi Sung family after becoming possessed by chairman Kang Yong Ho’s soul—looked back on filming fondly, saying, “Every moment was so enjoyable. It was honestly difficult to hold back laughter because the set was so fun.” He added, “If I get the chance, I’d love to work with the ‘Reborn Rookie’ family again. It was an honor and a joy to be together.”
Lee Ju Myoung, who plays Kang Bang Geul, the hidden youngest daughter of Chairman Kang Yong Ho, will portray a fierce rivalry with her older sister Kang Jae Gyeong (Jeon Hye Jin) and older brother Kang Jae Seong (Jin Goo), while also showcasing “colleague chemistry” with Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young). She shared, “It was an honor to work with such senior actors. The atmosphere on set and our acting chemistry were both so great that I worked even harder because I didn’t want to become a burden.”
Jeon Hye Jin, who plays Kang Jae Gyeong, the eldest daughter of Chairman Kang Yong Ho and someone with an intense desire to take over Choi Sung Group, warmly described the cast as “a really wonderful ‘Chairman Kang’ team.” She added, “Before the soul swap happened, Son Hyun Joo—who plays my father—would even tape cue cards to himself whenever there were difficult lines.” She also revealed with a laugh, “Lee Jun Young and I had many emotionally intense confrontations in the drama, but off-camera we actually struggled to hold back our laughter.”
Lastly, Jin Goo, who plays eldest son Kang Jae Seong—a man who naturally sees himself as the heir to Choi Sung Group under the principle of eldest-son succession—shared, “Filming with Lee Jun Young and Lee Ju Myoung always gave me fresh energy. Since we mostly filmed funny scenes together, working with them was always enjoyable.” He continued, “I also had a lot of fun back-and-forth chemistry with Jeon Hye Jin and Son Hyun Joo on set. Thanks to them, filming was fun and memorable throughout.”

7 K-Pop Idols That Are Bringing Fun Back To Fashion In 2026!
With spring in full swing and summer well on its way, it’s about time to break out the brights! These K-pop idols are showing us how to do patterns and pops of color right this season. Don’t be scared to dabble in some stripes, polka dots, or quirky patterns – your faves are doing it, so you’re in great company!
1. ILLIT’s Wonhee
If you would rather dip your toes into a bit of color without diving in right away, take a cue from ILLIT’s Wonhee! Combining a pair of red shoes with a skirt that has a pop of red around the waist, this outfit is just the right amount of out-there. Adding some jewelry makes it that much more fun. It’s customizable to your comfort level, but you can’t deny that Wonhee looks amazing with her eclectic accessories!
2. SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi
There’s something about this specific shade of pink that totally screams spring, and SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi is rocking it! Matching your hair to your hoodie might be a bit of a high ask, but if you’re committed to the fit, then go for it. The most iconic piece of this outfit, though, is undoubtedly his jeans. If you’re artistically inclined, you could even paint a pair of jeans yourself to recreate this look!
3. IVE’s An Yu Jin
If color isn’t your thing, consider a fun pattern instead! IVE’s An Yu Jin proves that a statement pattern in a neutral color is every bit as iconic. A zebra-patterned tank top with a simple pair of jeans is serving total Y2K fashion and makes for a super easy look that’s comfortable but doesn’t sacrifice on style. This one will quickly become a summer staple in your wardrobe!
4. i-dle’s Miyeon
i-dle’s Miyeon is making a seriously gorgeous argument for maximalism this season – patterns, color, and statement accessories might seem scary for some, but she looks amazing! The matching red sweater and madras-patterned dress help the outfit appear more coordinated while still standing out. If you give a statement pattern a try, you might just find a new fave look!
5. TXT’s Yeonjun
For those that want to try adding some color without spending a fortune, Yeonjun of TXT has the cheat code. A pop of yellow, courtesy of a ball cap, is all it takes to spice up a look! Especially if you have a more laid-back, masculine style, a simple accessory like a ball cap is the perfect way to make your outfit pop. Plus, a little added sun protection never hurts!
6. Kep1er’s Huening Bahiyyih
Who said that outfits have to match? Kep1er’s Huening Bahiyyih proves that a bright jacket and a statement skirt can actually clash in the perfect way! It might seem counterintuitive at first, but combining pieces that look like they don’t go together can be an awesome fashion statement. Mix and match your top and bottom to find a new favorite outfit you might never have thought of otherwise!
7. TWICE’s Chaeyoung
The queen of color and patterns, TWICE’s Chaeyoung has brought us a masterclass in fun fashion with this one post! Tiny polka dots on tiffany blue, checkered pink and black, a lacy white overlay jacket – there’s so much to take inspiration from here. She’s proving that fashion is every bit as adventurous as you want it to be, and every outfit looks amazing as long as you feel amazing wearing it!

MBC’s “Perfect Crown” has shown a closer look at the set of the drama!
The newly released making-of video begins with Byeon Woo Seok jokingly saying, “I got dumped!” talking about his character Ian. When asked how they feel, Byeon Woo Seok explains, “She hugged me so sweetly, but she broke up with me when I was having a really hard time, so she felt even more lovable.” IU chimes in, “She knows how to push and pull?” IU and Byeon Woo Seok further mention that the scene could be another addition to beautiful breakup scenes in K-drama history.
During the kiss scene, IU and Byeon Woo Seok get creative with their movements, practicing how to step back towards the desk. When the director instructs them to take off their outerwear as they walk back, Byeon Woo Seok suggests to IU, “Do you want to try untying the ribbon?” Although their movements are difficult to coordinate at first, the two eventually pull of a beautiful kiss scene.

Netflix’s upcoming variety show “Jae Seok’s B&B Rules!” has unveiled new stills!
“Jae Seok’s B&B Rules!” follows Yu Jae Seok as he takes on the challenge of running a bed-and-breakfast for the very first time. Joined by Lee Kwang Soo, Byeon Woo Seok, and Ji Ye Eun as staff members, they welcome guests and create memorable moments filled with laughter, chaos, and heartfelt warmth.
In the stills, a warm and cheerful atmosphere on set, where laughter never stops, highlights the group’s playful chemistry.
The synergy of Team Yu Jae Seok is expected to offer a break from daily fatigue as they talk, play, and joke around under novice B&B host Yu Jae Seok’s management philosophy: “The guest is king, and I am also king.”
Yu Jae Seok said, “I was very nervous and curious about what would happen. The most memorable moment was when people from different walks of life came together, played games, talked, and before we knew it, became one group, laughing and enjoying themselves. I hope viewers watch the show as if they were at the B&B as well and enjoy it.”
Lee Kwang Soo shared, “From the moment we started recruiting guests, I thought it would be fun, and I was excited and looking forward to being part of it. Personally, it felt like a pause in my life. The guests, who had been living intense lives, were able to forget everything for a while and enjoy the camp. Watching this, I hope viewers can also feel as if they are returning to childhood.”
Byeon Woo Seok remarked, “I still can’t believe I got to work while wearing the same name tag as senior Yu Jae Seok. It was an honor to work with witty staff members like Kwang Soo and Ye Eun. I also look forward to showing a more relaxed and natural side of myself, different from what I have shown in acting projects. Since this was a new challenge, I enjoyed filming it, and I hope viewers will enjoy watching it.”
Ji Ye Eun also added, “I hope viewers enjoy seeing our relaxed sides. It felt even more special because it had the atmosphere of a retreat I used to imagine as a child. The unexpected charms of the guests and their naturally formed chemistry will be impressive.”
“Jae Seok’s B&B Rules!” is set to premiere on May 26.
