Lee Jae Wook, Shin Ye Eun, And More Say Goodbye As “Doctor On The Edge” Reaches Its Finale

The cast of “Doctor on the Edge” shared their heartfelt farewell messages ahead of the drama’s finale!

“Doctor on the Edge” tells the love story of public health doctor Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), who is assigned to the notorious island Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), who is hiding a secret. After crossing paths on a remote island, they embark on a heartwarming journey of saving lives and learning about love as they get to know the island’s residents.

Ahead of the final episode, the drama unveiled new stills featuring Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri, each doing their part to protect Pyeondong Island until the very end.

One still shows Do Ji Eui wearing a determined expression as he steps onto the stage to help Go Chang Mok (Kim Hae Gon). Another captures Yook Ha Ri carrying an armful of medical supplies inside the temporarily closed public health clinic. The images raise questions about the identity of the patient facing a life-threatening emergency and why Do Ji Eui has decided to help Go Chang Mok.

Another set of stills captures the island residents’ farewell gathering. In contrast to their awkward first meeting, the group has now become like a family, and the warm atmosphere is filled with affection. As they share drinks before saying goodbye, their genuine care for one another is evident, leaving viewers eager to see the final farewell they will exchange.

Lee Jae Wook shared, “The time I spent with Do Ji Eui is something I’ll cherish for a long time. Through ‘Doctor on the Edge,’ I learned and experienced so much. Above all, thanks to the support viewers gave us, I think this will remain an especially warm memory. Thank you sincerely for all the love and encouragement.”

The stars of JTBC’s “Reborn Rookie” shared their final thoughts ahead of tonight’s series finale!

“Reborn Rookie” is a drama that tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choiseong Group. After an accident, he unexpectedly finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

With just one episode left in the drama’s run, the starring cast took a moment to look back on “Reborn Rookie” and what it meant to them.

Lee Jun Young, who is preparing to enlist in the military on July 21, remarked, “Thanks to director Ko Hye Jin and the amazing cast and crew, I think I was able to gain a valuable experience and see good things before my military enlistment, so I’m grateful.”

The stars of MBC’s “Fifties Professionals” have shared their final thoughts as the drama winds to a close!

On June 27, the action-comedy ended on an average nationwide rating of 5.0 percent for its series finale.

Looking back on his experience filming the drama, Shin Ha Kyun remarked, “It was a fun set where I got to work together with a great cast and crew. I hope that the atmosphere on set was also conveyed well to viewers. Above all, I’d like to sincerely thank the viewers who stayed with us until the end.”

When asked to choose one scene from the drama that stood out the most in his memory, Shin Ha Kyun picked the action scene that kicked off the story—the one where he, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae fought in the rain on the deck of a ship.

“It wasn’t easy filming in the rain, but it was especially memorable because it was the scene that marked the beginning of the story,” said Shin Ha Kyun.

Oh Jung Se humbly commented, “Because this was a drama with a lot of action scenes, I truly received a lot of help from the staff. Thanks to their making up for my shortcomings every time my body didn’t move the way I wanted it to, we were able to create some cool scenes together.”

“Bong Je Soon’s martial arts action scene at the Heaven Casino from Episode 1 stands out hte most in my memory,” he continued. “Every time I watch the completed scene, I feel another rush of gratitude all over again.”

SBS’s “My Royal Nemesis” has shared a sneak peek of a heartbreaking moment between Heo Nam Jun and Lim Ji Yeon.

“My Royal Nemesis” is a romantic comedy starring Lim Ji Yeon as Shin Seo Ri, a struggling actress who is suddenly possessed by the spirit of a notorious villainess from the Joseon era. Heo Nam Jun stars as Cha Se Gye, a ruthless chaebol heir who is known as a “monster created by capitalism.”

On the previous episode of “My Royal Nemesis,” Shin Seo Ri came to the devastating realization that she would soon have no choice but to return to Joseon.
