Circle Chart Reveals Midyear Album And Digital Charts For 1st Half Of 2026

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has published its midyear charts for the first half of 2026!

As the midyear chart results are based on accumulated weekly data since the beginning of January 2026, albums and songs released earlier in the year have more weekly points included in their scores.

BTS topped the midyear physical album chart with their latest album “ARIRANG,” followed by ENHYPEN’s “THE SIN : VANISH” at No. 2, CORTIS’s “GREENGREEN” at No. 3, BLACKPINK’s “DEADLINE” at No. 4, and TXT’s “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns” at No. 5.

June Rising Singer Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rising singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of various rising singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from May 26 to June 26.

RESCENE shot to the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,368,697, while I.O.I took second place with a score of 5,910,068.

Kim Yong Bin ranked third with a brand reputation index of 4,559,196, marking a 16.37 percent increase in his score since May.

Park Ji Hyeon jumped to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,997,537, marking a 48.38 percent rise in his score since last month.

Finally, CORTIS came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 3,849,187 for June.

Winners Of The 35th Seoul Music Awards

On June 20, the 35th Seoul Music Awards (SMA) were held at the INSPIRE Arena in Incheon.

ATEEZ won this year’s Daesang (Grand Prize), in addition to taking home one of this year’s Bonsangs (Main Awards).

Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR snagged a total of four awards, including Best Album, World Best Artist, the R&B/Hip Hop Award, and a Bonsang. Lee Chan Won also took home four awards this year, including SMA Best Artist, the Popularity Award, the Trot Award, and a Bonsang.

ZEROBASEONE and LE SSERAFIM both claimed three awards each: ZEROBASEONE won Best Album, Best Group, and a Bonsang, while LE SSERAFIM won Best Song, World Best Artist, and a Bonsang.

Circle Chart has revealed its chart rankings for the week of May 24 to 30!

Album Chart

aespa topped this week’s physical album chart with their new album “LEMONADE,” which debuted at No. 1.

AND2BLE claimed two spots in this week’s top five with their debut mini album “Sequence 01: Curiosity.” The regular version of the mini album entered the chart at No. 2, and the POCA version charted separately at No. 5.

XLOV’s new mini album “I,God” debuted at No. 3, while the Weverse version of CORTIS’s latest EP “GREENGREEN” re-entered the chart at No. 4.

May Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published its brand reputation rankings for all stars during the month of April!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of various stars’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from April 28 to May 28.

BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list this month, scoring a brand reputation index of 9,206,081 for May.

Lim Young Woong took second place with a brand reputation index of 6,601,432, while Yu Jae Seok ranked third with a score of 6,104,037.

Byeon Woo Seok came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,518,119, marking a 3.78 percent increase in his score since last month.

Finally, Ryu Hyun Jin rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 5,345,412, marking a 48.50 percent rise in his score since April.

May Rising Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for rising stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of various rising stars’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from April 30 to May 30.

CORTIS shot to the top of this month’s list after seeing a staggering 409.37 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score to 4,694,941.

Byeon Woo Seok took second place with a brand reputation index of 4,308,953, marking a 1.30 percent increase in his score since last month.

Meanwhile, RESCENE entered the list at third place with a brand reputation index of 3,698,403 for May.

Park Ji Hoon came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 3,555,042, while Kim Yong Bin rounded out the top five with a score of 2,668,603.

May Rising Singer Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rising singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of various rising singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from April 27 to May 27.

CORTIS shot to the top of this month’s list after seeing a whopping 328.60 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score to 6,065,405.

Trot singer Kim Yong Bin held onto his spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 3,917,846, marking a 34.10 percent increase in his score since last month.

HANRORO took third place with a brand reputation index of 3,300,462, marking a 9.65 percent rise in her score since April.

BIBI jumped to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,122,855, marking an impressive 112.92 percent increase in her score.

Finally, ENHYPEN came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 3,099,769, marking a 22.56 percent rise in their score since April.

May Singer Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from April 23 to May 23.

BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 7,132,535 for May.

Lim Young Woong also maintained his position at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,390,625 for the month.

CORTIS shot to third place after seeing a 132.43 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score to 4,313,084.

HANRORO took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,861,706, marking a 68.57 percent rise in her score since last month.

Finally, IVE came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 2,739,078 for May.

AKMU Earns Circle Triple Crown + CORTIS, BTS, And ILLIT Top Weekly Charts

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the week of May 3 to 9!

Album Chart

CORTIS swept the top two spots on this week’s physical album chart with their new EP “GREENGREEN.” The regular version of the EP debuted at No. 1, while the Weverse version charted separately at No. 2.

BABYMONSTER similarly claimed the next two spots on the chart with their new mini album “CHOOM.” The regular version of the mini album debuted at No. 3, and the Nemo version charted separately at No. 4.

Finally, NAZE’s self-titled debut mini album entered the chart at No. 5.

AKMU achieved a triple crown on this week’s Circle charts, with their hit song “Paradise of Rumors” topping no less than three separate charts: the overall digital chart, digital download chart, and streaming chart.

AKMU claimed two of the top three spots on this week’s digital download chart, where “Paradise of Rumors” jumped to No. 1 and “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart” climbed back up to No. 3.

Meanwhile, ILLIT’s latest title track “It’s Me” shot to No. 2 for the week.

NEXZ’s new single “Mmchk” stayed strong at No. 4 on the chart, while BABYMONSTER’s new title track “CHOOM” debuted at No. 5.

Overall Digital Chart

AKMU once again swept the top two spots on the overall digital chart, where “Paradise of Rumors” and “Joy, Sorrow, A Beautiful Heart” maintained their respective positions at No. 1 and No. 2.

CORTIS’s “REDRED” jumped to No. 3, followed by Hearts2Hearts’ “RUDE!” at No. 4 and HANRORO’s “Landing in Love” at No. 5.

Global K-Pop Chart

BTS’s “SWIM” continued its reign at No. 1 on the global K-pop chart, with HUNTR/X’s “Golden” (from the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack) holding steady at No. 2.

CORTIS’s “REDRED” rose to No. 3, while BTS’s B-side “2.0” stayed strong at No. 4.

Finally, ILLIT’s “It’s Me” jumped 29 ranks to take No. 5 on this week’s chart.

Social Chart 3.0

ILLIt held onto their spot at No. 1 on the social chart this week, while BTS maintained their position at No. 2.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rising singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of various rising singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from March 28 to April 28.

HANRORO topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 3,009,929, marking a 47.07 percent increase in her score since last month.

Trot singer Kim Yong Bin maintained his position at second place with a brand reputation index of 2,921,662, marking a 15.55 percent rise in his score.

KiiiKiii came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 2,890,127, marking a 35.76 percent increase in their score.

WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn) took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,639,880, marking an 0.87 percent rise in his score.

Finally, ENHYPEN rounded out the top five after seeing a 51.73 percent increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score to 2,529,125.
