“Heart Signal 5” Releases Official Statement On Adultery Allegations Against Contestant

Channel A’s “Heart Signal 5” has formally addressed the allegations against one of its contestants.

Recently, an anonymous individual uploaded a post on the online community Blind accusing a dating show contestant of having been romantically involved with a married man during filming for the program.

The post claimed that the contestant had appeared on the dating show and pretended to be single while already in a relationship with this married man, whom she continued to see throughout filming. The post also alleged that the contestant had begun the affair and moved in with the married man despite knowing that his wife had just given birth to a child and despite the wife strongly requesting an end to the affair over a long period of time.

The post included a CCTV screenshot of what appeared to be a man and woman kissing in an elevator.

Although the post did not specifically name the dating show and contestant in question, the details provided in the lengthy post narrowed the speculation to a specific cast member from “Heart Signal 5,” which is currently airing.

On June 9, ahead of the broadcast of its latest episode, “Heart Signal 5” officially responded to the controversy with the following statement:

We are currently in the process of checking the facts regarding the allegations related to a certain cast member.

The production team is taking this matter very seriously.

Regardless of whether the allegations are true or not, we are carefully discussing the direction of our broadcast content including the cast member in question.

We sincerely apologize for giving viewers cause for concern.

“Heart Signal 5” Unveils New Poster Of Contestants

Channel A’s “Heart Signal 5” has finally released its contestant poster!

“Heart Signal” is a hit dating show in which singles look for love while living together in the same house. Meanwhile, a celebrity panel attempts to deduce whom each contestant is interested in and which singles will wind up forming couples. This season’s “celebrity prediction panel” includes original members Yoon Jong Shin, Lee Sang Min, and Kim Eana, along with new members Roy Kim and Billlie’s Tsuki.

The new poster features the eight contestants who are currently living together in the “Signal House.” From left to right, Seowon, Soyoon, and Seongmin are seen standing, while Minju, Wooyeol, Yugyeong, Gyuri, and Junhyeon are seated together on the sofa.

tvN’s upcoming drama “See You at Work Tomorrow!” has released a new teaser!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “See You at Work Tomorrow!” is a romance drama starring Park Ji Hyun as Cha Ji Yoon, an office worker stuck in a career rut. After becoming entangled with her prickly boss Kang Si Woo (Seo In Guk), she winds up making a fresh start both in her career and in her love life.

The newly released teaser begins with the phrase, “Love sickness, a sickness of the heart that arises because of someone you love,” written on a stopped cassette player. The phrase then changes from “someone you love” to “your boss,” delivering a twist. The teaser then gives a glimpse of Cha Ji Yoon’s reality as a burned-out office worker worn down by repetitive tasks and pressure from her boss.

In one scene, Cha Ji Yoon, who has been enduring her boss’s cold remarks, is heard saying in narration, “Will there ever be hope in this hellish commute to work?”

In another scene, Kang Si Woo picks up a diary Cha Ji Yoon dropped and says, “I want to work together with you, Cha Ji Yoon.”

As she receives the diary, she says to herself, “Wow, why is my heart racing?” The text on the cassette player also changes back to “a sickness of the heart caused by the one you love,” hinting at the romance between the two.

As the two stand facing each other, the teaser ends with Cha Ji Yoon’s words, “Despite this love sickness, I will still go to work tomorrow,” raising curiosity about how their relationship will evolve.

On the first episode of “Perfect Crown,” which earned the third-highest premiere ratings of any Friday-Saturday drama in MBC history, Seong Hui Ju was infuriated by her family asking her to marry a man that didn’t meet her standards. After deciding to search for a potential spouse herself, Seong Hui Ju came up with the idea of marrying Grand Prince Ian and elevating her social status in the process. Although it took her a great deal of time and effort to convince the prince to meet with her, the episode ended with Seong Hui Ju finally managing to sit down with him and pop the question.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming second episode, Seong Hui Ju goes all out trying to get Grand Prince Ian to accept her out-of-the-blue proposal. From public events to his personal schedule, Seong Hui Ju follows the prince everywhere he goes, whether he’s driving, going horseback riding, or watching a movie at the theater.

Seong Hui Ju, who pretends that every encounter is a coincidence, then lays on the charm by shamelessly flirting with him. As she showers him with affection through hand-hearts and intense gazes, Grand Prince Ian is visibly annoyed by her persistent efforts to woo him.
