The Wind’s Kim Heesoo will be temporarily halting activities due to his health.

On May 6, Pangstar Entertainment revealed that Kim Heesoo had recently been undergoing treatment for symptoms of anxiety. The agency went on to announce that based on the doctor’s opinion that he needs sufficient rest, Kim Heesoo will be going on a temporary hiatus in order to focus on his recovery.

As a result, The Wind will be carrying out their activities as a five-member group for the time being.

Recently, Kim Heesoo has been regularly receiving treatment at a medical facility due to symptoms of anxiety.
Although we have been continuously monitoring the state of our artist’s health while proceeding with activities, it has been determined that in accordance with the doctor’s opinion, Kim Heesoo needs sufficient rest and recovery. Therefore, he will be temporarily halting activities.

As a result, for the time being, The Wind will be carrying out their activities as a five-member group without Kim Heesoo.

Kim Hee Chul To Take Hiatus From “Ask Us Anything” + Kim Shin Young Joins As Permanent Cast Member

Comedian Kim Shin Young will be joining JTBC’s flagship variety show “Ask Us Anything” (also known as “Knowing Bros”) as a new permanent cast member!

On April 30, the production team of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” released an official statement, announcing, “We have selected Kim Shin Young as a new permanent member.” They further emphasized, “Kim Heechul will be taking a break for the time being due to health reasons,” while clarifying that this is not his departure from the show.

Since “Ask Us Anything” first aired in December 2015, this marks the first time in approximately 10 years that a female entertainer has joined as a permanent member. Viewers’ anticipation is high for what new breeze she will bring to a format that has been centered on male members under the “Brother School” concept.

Kim Hee Chul will take a temporary break to take some time to recharge and manage his scheduled commitments, and he plans to rejoin the program afterward.

8TURN’s Kyungmin will be temporarily halting activities due to his health.

On April 29, MNH Entertainment announced that during the latter half of 8TURN’s promotions for “BRUISE,” Kyungmin had begun “experiencing symptoms related to his stomach and has been balancing his schedule with treatment.”

The agency went on to state that the idol had since been diagnosed with “complex health issues resulting from a gastric ulcer” and had been advised that he requires “long-term rest and recovery.”

As a result, while Kyungmin will participate in “currently confirmed [scheduled activities] to a manageable extent, all new [scheduled activities] beginning in May will proceed with seven members, excluding Kyungmin.”

AxMxP’s Juhwan will be temporarily halting all activities due to his health.

On April 10, FNC Entertainment announced that Juhwan had been diagnosed with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and would therefore be sitting out the band’s upcoming activities in order to focus on his recovery.
