Hong Min Ki’s Agency Releases New Statement Refuting Forced Abortion Allegations
Hong Min Ki’s agency has refuted claims made by his ex-girlfriend (hereinafter “Ms. A”) regarding a forced abortion.
Following Hong Min Ki’s agency’s statement from August 19, Ms. A further claimed that she had been subjected to verbal abuse, gaslighting, and pressure to undergo an abortion during their time together.
On the morning of August 20, Hong Min Ki’s agency Fable Company released a new statement refuting the allegations.
Hello. This is Fable Company.
We would like to state our position regarding the additional posts made by Ms. A concerning our agency’s actor Hong Min Ki.
In her additional posts, Ms. A claims that she confirmed a pregnancy during her relationship with the actor and underwent an abortion, stating that she possesses medical records and ultrasound photos as evidence.
In fact, at approximately 6 a.m. on August 19, 2026, Ms. A sent the actor an ultrasound photo along with the message, “Shut your mouth before I expose all of this too.” However, Ms. A had never shown any such ultrasound photos to the actor prior to this. As the ultrasound photo in question appears different from those that typically confirm a pregnancy, our company has requested verification from obstetric and gynecological medical professionals and intends to submit this as evidence.
Furthermore, upon confirming with the actor, it has been verified that Ms. A never showed the actor a pregnancy test, and contrary to Ms. A’s claims, the actor never made any remarks pressuring Ms. A to have an abortion.
Moreover, on July 13—the very day Ms. A claims she underwent the abortion surgery—she suggested to the actor that they go cycling together. When the actor declined, Ms. A sent a video of herself cycling alone. We have secured and are keeping all records of this conversation and the video.
Pregnancy and abortion are extremely sensitive and serious matters. Despite this, Ms. A has publicly posted claims on social media that are entirely untrue, such as the allegation that the actor pressured her into an abortion after confirming the pregnancy. As a result, the actor has once again suffered severe and irreparable damage to his reputation and image.
We will no longer respond by repeatedly refuting the other party’s false claims.
Based on the materials secured thus far, we will immediately proceed with the necessary civil and criminal legal procedures to ensure that the facts related to this case are clearly brought to light.
Finally, we earnestly request that you refrain from reckless speculation and the spreading or reproduction of unverified claims as this can cause further harm not only to the actor but to everyone involved in this matter.

Hong Min Ki’s Agency Responds To Recent Allegations Made By Ex-Girlfriend
Hong Min Ki’s agency has released a statement following allegations against the actor.
On August 19, an influencer known as “A” revealed an image of the certification of contents she sent to actor Hong Min Ki, her ex-boyfriend, with various claims including assault and privacy invasion. Later in the day, she wrote another post with claims of the actor speaking ill of other actors, staff, and fans, assaulting his pet, making unwanted physical contact after their breakup, and more.
Hello. This is Fable Company. First of all, we sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people regarding our actor Hong Min Ki (hereinafter “Actor”).
Because this matter stemmed from a private relationship, the Actor has, in the hope that things could be resolved amicably with the other party (hereinafter “Ms. A”), refrained as much as possible from making any public response or taking legal action. However, today (August 19), Ms. A publicly posted on her personal social media account the certification of contents she sent to the Actor, along with related posts. These materials contain numerous claims that differ from the facts as we understand them, and they are now spreading rapidly through the media and online communities. Accordingly, in order to prevent further misunderstandings and harm, we and the Actor would like to share the facts that have been confirmed.
Ms. A and the Actor began dating around April 2026. During the relationship, however, the Actor confirmed that Ms. A was continuously staying in contact with her ex-boyfriend. Ms. A admitted—through a letter and private messenger messages—that she met another person while they were dating, and she repeatedly apologized while acknowledging her wrongdoing, saying, “When I think about the pain I caused you, I know I don’t even have the right to approach you like this. I’m truly sorry, with no excuses.” Nevertheless, the Actor determined that the trust between them had been irreparably damaged, and he clearly stated multiple times that he had no intention of continuing the relationship as romantic partners.
Despite this, Ms. A continued to contact the Actor, demanding that he meet her again. She repeatedly engaged in one-sided contact and approaches that the Actor did not want—frequently coming to the Actor’s home and even going as far as visiting the home of the Actor’s family.
This situation continued until recently. Even today at around 1 a.m., Ms. A came to the Actor’s home and rang the doorbell and pounded on the door until 4 a.m. According to CCTV footage we have secured, it was also confirmed that Ms. A engaged in irrational behavior such as placing a sticker over the camera portion of the front-door CCTV so that it could not record and then kicking the front door.
In addition, Ms. A exploited the fact that public evaluation and image are important to the Actor and continuously pressured him by implying that she would disclose false information to third parties. She also did not hesitate to say things such as, “Truth or whatever—I’m just filing a lawsuit; once I file it, you’ll be *,” “You have a lot to lose,” “Even if (you) never cursed, the truth isn’t important,” and, “Once it goes to trial, you can’t do anything anyway.” When the Actor still refused to meet her, Ms. A ultimately sent the Actor a certified letter containing claims that are not true. Today, she went further by posting on social media not only the certified letter but also provocative and false allegations—such as abuse of his pet dog and deceiving fans through his relationships—thereby severely damaging the Actor’s reputation.
Our company will do its utmost, through objective materials and lawful procedures, to ensure that the facts are clearly established. With respect to the repeated acts of contact and approach carried out against the Actor’s will, we plan to pursue legal measures under anti-stalking laws. With respect to acts that damage the Actor’s reputation by disclosing and spreading false information, we plan to take all necessary civil and criminal actions, including for defamation.
Finally, we respectfully ask that people refrain from making indiscriminate speculation about matters that have not yet been confirmed or from exaggerating or reproducing content that differs from the facts. Thank you.
Hong Min Ki debuted in 2020 through a web drama, and he since starred in dramas “Night Has Come,” “Love Your Enemy,” “Study Group,” “Trigger,” and more. This year, he made appearances in “To My Beloved Thief” and “Doctor on the Edge.”

As they share drinks before saying goodbye, their genuine care for one another is evident, leaving viewers eager to see the final farewell they will exchange.
Lee Jae Wook shared, “The time I spent with Do Ji Eui is something I’ll cherish for a long time. Through ‘Doctor on the Edge,’ I learned and experienced so much. “Doctor on the Edge” has unveiled new stills!
“Doctor on the Edge” tells the love story of public health doctor Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), who is assigned to the notorious island Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), who is hiding a secret. After crossing paths on a remote island, they embark on a heartwarming journey of saving lives and learning about love as they get to know the island’s residents.
Spoilers
The newly released photos hint at a shift in the atmosphere between Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri. In one image, Yook Ha Ri stands before the memorial portrait of Oh Mi Ja (Gil Hae Yeon), struggling to hold back her tears. She appears so overwhelmed with grief that she looks as though she might collapse at any moment. Do Ji Eui’s sorrowful expression also conveys his concern, adding to the emotional weight of the scene.
Another still captures Yook Ha Ri returning to the Pyeondong Public Health Center with a bright smile. In a previously released teaser for the upcoming episode, she tells Do Ji Eui, “Please pretend you don’t know me,” sparking curiosity about what changes have taken place between them.
Meanwhile, other photos capture the late-night tension between Do Ji Eui and Hyun Chi Yeon (Hong Min Ki). Do Ji Eui appears flustered by Hyun Chi Yeon’s sudden provocation, while Hyun Chi Yeon’s visibly displeased expression creates an intriguing contrast. What lies behind the subtle power struggle between the two men?
The production team shared, “Episode 8 will depict Yook Ha Ri’s efforts to overcome the pain of loss. Along the way, an incident will trigger subtle tension among Do Ji Eui, Yook Ha Ri, and Hyun Chi Yeon, leading to an intriguing development. “Doctor On The Edge” Hints At The Start Of A Love Triangle Between Lee Jae Wook, Shin Ye Eun, And Hong Min Ki
ENA’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Doctor on the Edge” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
Spoilers
In the previous episode, Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri, who had initially kept their distance and maintained clear boundaries, grew much closer while treating patients together. Most notably, Yook Ha Ri made viewers’ hearts flutter when she said to Do Ji Eui, “What’s your secret, Doctor? I’m not trying to cross a line—I just want to help you because you’re hurting.”
The newly released stills capture the subtle tension between Do Ji Eui, Yook Ha Ri, and Hyun Chi Yeon (Hong Min Ki), sparking curiosity. Do Ji Eui is seen pacing around late at night carrying a delivery box. Seemingly searching for an excuse to contact Yook Ha Ri, he absentmindedly fidgets with the package, revealing his complicated emotions.
What has captured all of Do Ji Eui’s attention is Yook Ha Ri and Hyun Chi Yeon going on a home visit together. The contrast between Hyun Chi Yeon’s gaze, which never leaves Yook Ha Ri, and Yook Ha Ri’s flustered facial expression is particularly intriguing. Attention is focused on how Hyun Chi Yeon will affect the budding relationship between Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri.
The stills also capture Do Ji Eui’s ongoing struggles adapting to life on the island. He once again clashes with Lee Jang Soo (Kim Ki Chun). Lee Jang Soo looks visibly bewildered as he watches Do Ji Eui, who is drenched in sweat and trying to catch his breath. Curiosity is growing over what has happened this time between the two men, who seem to bicker whenever they meet.
The production team shared, “In the upcoming third episode, viewers will see Do Ji Eui lose his composure and struggle with confusion as life on Pyeondong becomes even more challenging. An incident that will serve as a turning point in the relationship between Do Ji Eui and the people of Pyeondong will unfold. We also hope viewers look forward to Yook Ha Ri’s role at the center of it all.”
The next episode of “Doctor on the Edge” airs on June 8 at 10 p.m. KST.

Lee Jae Wook, Shin Ye Eun, And More Stand Firm In New Drama “Doctor On The Edge” Poster
The upcoming ENA drama “Doctor on the Edge” has unveiled a new poster!
“Doctor on the Edge” will tell the love story of public health doctor Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), who is assigned to the notorious island Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), who is hiding a secret. After crossing paths on a remote island, they embark on a heartwarming journey of saving lives and learning about love as they get to know the island’s residents.
The poster features the Pyeondong Health Center family: Do Ji Eui, Yook Ha Ri, Hyun Chi Yeon (Hong Min Ki), Uhm Jung Sun (Lee Soo Kyung), and Yong Ju Cheon (Kim Yoon Woo).
In the image, the five characters stand with serious expressions, hands on their hips. From a distance, Pyeondong appears to be a green, beautiful island. However, their hair and clothes fluttering in the fierce wind suggest the challenges they are about to face.
Do Ji Eui, who avoids the island but has no choice but to endure it, and Yook Ha Ri, who is keeping a secret, lead the group. They are joined by Hyun Chi Yeon, Uhm Jung Sun, and Yong Ju Cheon, whose confident expressions give off a strong presence.
The phrase “24-hour complaint standby” further increases curiosity about the story of five young people who must persevere on the notoriously troublesome island of Pyeondong, where complaints constantly pour in.
The production team said, “The story follows characters who carry their own worries and anxieties as they build friendship and love while clashing on Pyeondong Island, where they are isolated and complaints continue 24 hours a day. It will offer warm empathy and healing.”
