tvN’s “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” has shared new stills ahead of tonight’s new episode!

Based on a popular web novel and webtoon, “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” is a military fantasy-comedy drama that tells the story of army cook Kang Sung Jae (Park Ji Hoon). When a mysterious quest window pops up in front of him one day, Private Kang Sung Jae begins an unexpected journey that will lead him down the path toward becoming a legendary cook.

Previously on “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier,” Kang Sung Jae began serving as a military cook at the direction of company commander Hwang Seok Ho (Lee Sang Yi). However, after the sea urchin seaweed soup he prepared for battalion commander Baek Choon Ik (Jung Woong In) triggered an allergic reaction, he faced possible reassignment.

Just as he begins to find enjoyment in cooking, Kang Sung Jae expresses his desire to remain in the role by preparing a heartfelt meal for Hwang Seok Ho. But Hwang Seok Ho firmly rejects the request, effectively forcing him to step away from cooking.

The newly released stills show Kang Sung Jae preparing to end his time as a cook when an unexpected final guest, a North Korean resident, appears.

MBC’s “Perfect Crown” has taken viewers behind the scenes of the drama for episode 9!

The newly released making-of video begins with the actors experimenting with their portrayal, trying different enunciations to convey the gravity of the scene. IU and Byeon Woo Seok also film their hugging scenes multiple times until they perfect their movements smoothly.

Furthermore, despite Jo Jae Yoon’s chilling portrayal of his character, he shows a softer side with the cast, complimenting Gong Seung Yeon and telling IU that he is a fan and attended her concert.

After the scene where IU gets on her knees in tears, Chae Seo An shares, “I teared up slightly,” saying how she held her tears in for the sake of continuity. Lee Jae Won agrees, “My heart ached while watching through the monitor.” Chae Seo An adds that IU cried for all 10 takes.

tvN’s upcoming drama “Spooky in Love” has shared a glimpse of its first script reading session!

On April 30, the production team released photos from the script reading, which brought together Park Eun Bin, Yang Se Jong, and Ong Seong Wu as well as director Lee Min Soo and writer Choi Jung Mi.

“Spooky in Love” is an investigative occult romance drama about a hotel heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate, empathetic prosecutor who team up in a chaotic partnership. It is a remake of the 2011 film “Spellbound.”

The session began with Park Eun Bin’s lighthearted comment: “I’ll do my best to help viewers spend a chilling summer amid the intense heat.” The actors then fully immersed themselves in their respective characters.

First, Park Eun Bin plays Cheon Yeo Ri, the heiress to the country’s top luxury hotel group. Although she appears glamorous and is extremely wealthy, she lives cut off from the world because she can see ghosts. Park Eun Bin conveyed the character’s emotions through sorrowful eyes and voice.

Yang Se Jong plays Ma Gang Wook, a justice-driven prosecutor. He portrays Gang Wook’s reliable nature as he meets Cheon Yeo Ri and becomes involved in a series of strange incidents, staying by her side despite his fear.

Ong Seong Wu plays Kang Min Hwan, the CEO of CL Raymond Hotel, who hides ambition behind a gentle face. He gives a warm smile to his close friend Cheon Yeo Ri but quickly changes his demeanor when dealing with others, hinting at his true identity.

Through the script reading, the actors gradually built chemistry as they added their own touch to their characters. As various stories involving the deceased and the relationship between Cheon Yeo Ri and Ma Gan Wook unfolded, the session was filled with a wide range of reactions.

The production team said, “‘Spooky in Love’ follows the journey of a woman who can hear voices others cannot and a man who uncovers hidden truths. Together, they reveal the truth behind death and ultimately fall in love, offering excitement, chills, and catharsis all at once. Please look forward to the strong chemistry among the young actors, which will highlight the playful back-and-forth between the ghost-seeing chaebol and the passionate prosecutor.”

JTBC’s upcoming Saturday-Sunday drama “Reborn Rookie” has shared a sneak peek of the cast’s chemistry!

On April 21, the production team released photos from the script reading, which brought together Lee Jun Young, Lee Ju Myoung, Jeon Hye Jin, Jin Goo, and Son Hyun Joo as well as creator Kim Soon Ok, director Ko Hye Jin, and writer Hyun Ji Min.

“Reborn Rookie” follows Kang Yong Ho, the powerful chairman of the leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group, who is revered as a business genius. After an accident, however, he unexpectedly finds himself living a second life when his soul swaps into the youthful body of a soccer player named Hwang Jun Hyun, forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

Lee Jun Young, who takes on the role of Hwang Jun Hyun, led the atmosphere by delightfully portraying the ambition and passion of a soccer player with his witty energy.
