Kim Min Ho Faces Company Commander Oh Dae Hwan Over Misfire Incident In “New Recruit 4: Sabotage”

“New Recruit 4: Sabotage” has unveiled new stills ahead of tonight’s new episode!

Based on the hit animation of the same name, “New Recruit” is a black comedy drama that explores the lives of young adults in their 20s, delving into the culture, secrets, and absurdities of South Korea’s military.

Season 4 depicts the second half of Park Min Seok’s (Kim Min Ho) dynamic military life as he is promoted to corporal and finds himself facing endless new dilemmas. Just when he thought things would settle after his promotion, the arrival of a mysterious new recruit and a new battalion commander signals the start of a turbulent new chapter.

Spoilers

In previous episodes, winds of change began to blow through the Shinhwa Unit with the arrival of new faces. The new battalion commander Byun Hyuk Jin (Lee Hyun Gyoon), who is pursuing unconventional changes under the banner of “Advanced Military Life,” engaged in a subtle war of nerves with Company Commander Jo Baek Ho (Oh Dae Hwan). Additionally, a new variable was introduced to military life at the Shinhwa Unit when Kim Hyun Wook (Lee Won Jung), a boot camp comrade of Park Min Seok, was transferred to the first barracks. Amidst these changes, in the second episode, Park Min Seok and Kim Hyun Wook caused an unexpected blank-round discharge accident during the firearm safety inspection following their guard duty.

With all eyes on the aftermath of the misfire, the newly released stills capture Park Min Seok facing the company commander Jo Baek Ho. Viewers are left wondering what will happen to Kim Hyun Wook following the blank-round accident and why exactly Park Min Seok has been summoned to the company commander’s office.

Another set of stills shows Choi Il Gu (Nam Tae Woo) surrounded by his unit members in the first barracks. The contrast between Choi Il Gu, who looks terrified as he blurts something out, and the other unit members, who are frozen in their tracks while listening to his story, raises curiosity about the story Il Gu is sharing.

Ryu Seung Ryong And Ha Ji Won’s Family Is Torn Apart By A Shocking Incident In “Portrait Of A Family”

Upcoming film “Portrait of a Family” has released a new set of stills teasing its mystery-filled story.

“Portrait of a Family” is a family chronicle that follows top star couple Jung Gu (Ryu Seung Ryong) and Nam Mi (Ha Ji Won). After their marriage falls apart due to the sudden appearance of Jung Gu’s daughter Dong Ju (Kim Si Ah), the film picks up eight years later, depicting the couple’s desperate pursuit of the truth to save Dong Ju after she becomes embroiled in a shocking incident.

The newly released stills capture both the film’s mystery and emotional intensity. One image shows Jung Gu during his glory days as a nationally beloved baseball star, standing at the plate with a bat and locking eyes with the pitcher. Another depicts Nam Mi standing in front of a van amid a flurry of camera flashes, staring at her phone with a conflicted expression, hinting at the glamorous life the celebrity couple once shared.

The mood then takes a dramatic turn. Jung Gu is standing dazed in a dark alley, while Nam Mi wears the expression of someone who has given up on everything, foreshadowing the tragedy that befalls them.

Another still shows Jung Gu’s daughter Dong Ju gazing anxiously at something off-screen, raising questions about her role at the center of the incident.

Another image captures Jung Gu long after his days of fame, visibly distraught at a police station. As he desperately shouts at someone, the still hints at the lengths he’ll go to in order to protect his daughter.

Other stills capture Jung Gu’s family members. His mother Gi Sik (Kim Hae Sook) is carrying a fur coat despite the summer heat, while his older sister Ji Sook (Kim Sun Young) wears a bold leopard-print sheer outfit. Standing beside them is Jung Gu’s brother-in-law Sung Myung (Kim Young Min), sporting curly hair, sunglasses, and beads of sweat, creating an eccentric family portrait.

The stills also feature reporter Choi Wook (Lee Hyun Kyun), who has long shared a bitter history with Jung Gu, staring intently at something while on a filming set.

In the final images, Dong Ju looks back in desperation as police lead her away, reaching out for help while the last still captures Jung Gu desperately clinging to her hand until the very last moment, teasing the film’s unpredictable events.

“Portrait of a Family” is set to hit theaters on September 2. Stay tuned!

Lee Jae Wook And Shin Ye Eun Encounter An Unexpected Incident During A Home Visit In “Doctor On The Edge”

ENA’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Doctor on the Edge” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!

“Doctor on the Edge” tells the love story of public health doctor Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), who is assigned to the notorious island Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), who is hiding a secret. After crossing paths on a remote island, they embark on a heartwarming journey of saving lives and learning about love as they get to know the island’s residents.

Spoilers

Previously, Yook Ha Ri resolved to courageously let Oh Mi Ja (Gil Hae Yeon) go. Afterward, she and Do Ji Eui confirmed their feelings for each other and shared a kiss, heightening anticipation for what comes next.

In the newly released photos, the atmosphere between Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri is noticeably different from before. The two travel across the sea together to provide medical treatment on Jin Eon Island. Although Do Ji Eui still struggles with trauma related to the sea, he appears much calmer than before with Yook Ha Ri by his side.

However, an incident they encounter on Jin Eon Island completely changes the mood. One photo shows the village chief grabbing Do Ji Eui by the collar and causing a commotion before collapsing to the ground in tears. The distressed expressions on Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri’s faces suggest that something serious has happened.

Another set of stills shows Yong Ju Cheon (Kim Yoon Woo) looking dejected. Yong Ju Cheon, who had fallen into deep thought after witnessing Kim Ji Woong (Kim Sung Jung) entering Uhm Jung Sun’s (Lee Soo Kyung) house, has now encountered that mysterious rival as his patient.

The contrast between Yong Ju Cheon, who appears unable to hide his irritation as he continues performing acupuncture treatment, and Kim Ji Woong, who is visibly in pain, draws attention.

Viewers are now eager to find out who Kim Ji Woong really is and how his presence will affect the romance between Uhm Jung Sun and Yong Ju Cheon.

The production team commented, “In the upcoming episode, the sweet romance between Do Ji Ui and Yook Ha Ri, who have rekindled their love, will bring plenty of heart-fluttering moments to viewers.”

The next episode of “Doctor on the Edge” airs on June 29 at 10 p.m. KST.
