tvN’s upcoming weekend drama “100 Days of Deception” has unveiled its first teaser!
Helmed by director Yoo In Shik of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and the “Dr. Romantic” series, “100 Days of Lies” is a period spy romance set during the Japanese occupation of Korea. The drama follows Lee Ga Gyeong, Gyeongseong’s (present-day Seoul) most skilled pickpocket, who infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea disguised as an interpreter trainee. There, she becomes entangled with Kim Tae Woong (also known as Sato Hideo), the newly appointed interpreter of the Government-General and the adopted son of the Inspector-General of Korea (the second-in-command of the Japanese Government-General of Korea).
Kim You Jung stars as Lee Ga Gyeong, while Park Jinyoung plays Kim Tae Woong (Sato Hideo).
Kim Hyun Joo takes on the role of Yoo So Ran, a sniper for the anti-Japanese resistance group Gugukdan, while Lee Moo Saeng plays Yoo Philip, the Gyeongseong correspondent for an American news agency. Jin Sun Kyu portrays Sato Shinichi, the second-highest-ranking official in the Japanese Government-General of Korea.
Released exactly 100 days before the drama’s premiere, the teaser captivates with its vivid recreation of Gyeongseong in 1932. Set against the bustling backdrop of Gyeongseong Station and the Japanese Government-General of Korea—where Koreans and Japanese police officers intermingle—the teaser hints at Lee Ga Gyeong’s dangerous undercover mission and her fateful encounter with Kim Tae Woong. The teaser further heightens the suspense by showcasing Sato Shinichi and Yoo Philip pursuing their own hidden agendas, as well as Yoo So Ran aiming her rifle at an unseen target.

5th Blue Dragon Series Awards Announces Nominees
The nominees for the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards have been announced!
Sports Chosun, which also presents the annual Blue Dragon Film Awards, launched Korea’s first award ceremony specifically for streaming platforms in 2022. In light of the continuing growth of OTT (over-the-top) streaming platforms, the Blue Dragon Series Awards honors excellence in dramas and variety shows produced by these streaming services.
The nominees were selected through online voting that took place from June 17 through 30 as well as evaluations by Sports Chosun entertainment news reporters and industry expert surveys regarding original content that was released from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026.

“Husbands in Action” has unveiled a special teaser!
“Husbands in Action” is an action-comedy about ex-husband Choong Sik (Jin Sun Kyu) and current husband Min Seok (Gong Myoung), who reluctantly join forces to rescue wife Si Nae (Kang Han Na) after she is kidnapped by a dangerous criminal organization.
The newly released teaser opens with Choong Sik, Min Seok, and Do Joon (Kim Ji Suk)—the leader of the drug organization Black Sugar who has unwillingly become part of their mission—crammed into an animal hospital van. Trapped in a narrow alley, they soon come face-to-face with Yong Kang (Yoon Kyung Ho), a former drug kingpin, and his gang.
What follows is an unexpectedly comical standoff. Trying to fire up his side, Yong Kang tells his driver, “Don’t be nervous. Rambo, show them what you’ve got!” But instead of an intimidating display, Rambo responds with an oddly adorable honk.
After a series of hilarious exchanges, Min Seok suddenly slams on the gas and speeds backward, with Rambo giving chase. Just as a collision seems inevitable, Min Seok swerves away at the last second, sending both vehicles scrambling in opposite directions. Seizing the opportunity, he makes a quick escape, while the teaser hints that the wild chase is only getting started.

“Husbands In Action” Director Shares Points To Look Out For In Upcoming Film
The upcoming Netflix film “Husbands in Action” has released new stills!
“Husbands in Action” is an action-comedy about an ex-husband and a current husband who reluctantly join forces to rescue a wife kidnapped by a dangerous criminal organization.
Directed by comedy powerhouse Park Gyu Tae, who helmed “6/45,” “Husbands in Action” is already generating laughs with its on-set stills.
The upcoming film depicts the clashes between an ex-husband and a current husband, a detective and a criminal, and next-generation and old-generation gang bosses. As these polar-opposite characters collide, their interactions generate strong comedic synergy, leading to the kind of explosive humor that emerges from Park Gyu Tae’s signature ironic relationships and situations.
Director Park Gyu Tae remarked, “By taking the premise of an ex-husband and current husband working together, then adding the conflict between next-generation and old-generation bosses, I created a more finely layered comedy film.”
The director also noted that action is an essential genre element in the film. He said, “In a desperate situation where a family is kidnapped and must be rescued, action sequences unfolding across land, sea, and air in various locations will offer another layer of entertainment.”
The newly released stills capture the dynamic energy on set, including a scene where ex-husband Chung Sik (Jin Sun Kyu) and current husband Min Seok (Gong Myoung) huddle closely together for warmth inside a frozen storage warehouse. “Husbands in Action” is an action-comedy about an ex-husband and a current husband who reluctantly join forces to rescue a wife kidnapped by a dangerous criminal organization.
The stills present a chaotic story, featuring Chung Sik (Jin Sun Kyu), an ace narcotics detective and the ex-husband, and Min Seok (Gong Myoung), a young, handsome veterinarian and current husband. The two are locked in a tense battle of wills over family section seating at their daughter’s English speech contest, setting up anticipation for their clashing chemistry and comedic back-and-forth.
In the stills, the two men are shown deep in thought as they stand in front of a uniquely designed animal hospital van with ear-like features, then chasing someone through a residential alley, and later being pressed closely together inside a cold storage facility. The newly released poster highlights the hilariously incompatible chemistry between the two husbands, who seem like the last people who should ever work together. On May 28, Netflix unveiled eight new character stills featuring Jin Sun Kyu, Gong Myoung, Kim Ji Suk, and Yoon Kyung Ho.
The newly released stills spotlight the wildly different personalities of the four characters: ex-husband Chung Sik (Jin Sun Kyu), current husband Min Seok (Gong Myoung), drug cartel boss Do Joon (Kim Ji Suk), and Yong Kang (Yoon Kyung Ho), the head of the Yong Kang gang who ruled the drug market in the past.
Chung Sik, shown preparing to arrest criminals with handcuffs inside a warehouse, is an ace narcotics detective known for taking down suspects faster than anyone can react. Another still captures his signature sly smile in an alleyway, hinting at the surprisingly warm and human side hidden beneath his tough charisma.
Meanwhile, Min Seok is introduced as a handsome and kind-hearted veterinarian. While one still shows him volunteering at a dog rescue site, another captures him nervously assessing a tense situation inside a dark vehicle, raising anticipation for how he’ll handle the dangerous rescue mission he suddenly gets swept into.

62nd Baeksang Arts Awards Announces Nominees
Nominees have been announced for the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards!
The Broadcast, Movie, Theater, and Musical candidates were chosen among productions that aired or were released between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026. For broadcasts, candidates were chosen among programs that have aired at least one third of the series as of March 31. For Best New Actor, those who have starred in no more than three productions were eligible to be nominated. Productions that were excluded last year because they were released during the screening period were also included in this year’s pool.
