Upcoming film “The Journey to Gyeongju” has unveiled its first teaser!

“The Journey to Gyeongju” is a family revenge film about a mother and three daughters who embark on a “killer” journey after waiting eight years, all for their youngest daughter Gyeong Ju who never returned from a school field trip.

The teaser begins by introducing the family at the center of the story, with mother Ok Sil (Lee Jung Eun) wearing a solemn expression, followed by her three daughters—Jang Joo (Kong Hyo Jin), Young Ju (Park So Dam), and Dong Ju (Lee Yeon)—as they move an unidentified, heavy object.

Built around the premise of “I kidnapped the murderer who killed my daughter,” the teaser continues with scenes of a yellow van endlessly driving down a fog-covered road, an awkward family photo of the four dressed in matching outfits, the suspicious behavior of the four women chasing in a rice field in broad daylight, and a mysterious presence hidden inside a black plastic bag.

“A Bona Fide Killer” is an action drama about a working mother with a lethal job who is fighting to protect her work-life balance. Kong Hyo Jin stars as Yu Bo Na, the seemingly ordinary manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, who is also secretly the legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.”

In the drama, the Sales Team 3 of Durumi Electronics is a specialized “client” cleanup crew that leads a thorough double life behind the masks of ordinary office workers. KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Love on the Menu” has shared a glimpse of its stars behind the scenes of filming!

“Love on the Menu” tells the story of Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (EXID’s Hani), two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they piece together the fragments of their broken families and create the warmest table of life together.

Newly released behind-the-scenes photos from filming capture the cast’s dedication to their roles and the warm atmosphere on set. Even during breaks, the hardworking Ha Seok Jin keeps his script in hand, poring over his lines and immersing himself in his character’s emotions.

July Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 755 boy group members, using big data collected from June 18 to July 18.

BTS’s Jimin held onto his spot at the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 3,893,749. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Munich,” and “blond,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “communicate,” “surpass,” and “steadfast.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.40 percent positive reactions.

Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 3,687,282, while BTS’s Jungkook ranked third with a score of 3,359,098.

ATEEZ’s San shot to fourth place after seeing a whopping 815.27 percent increase in his brand reputation index since last month, bringing his total score to 1,919,276 for July.

Finally, CORTIS’s Keonho rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,902,631, marking a 5.77 percent rise in his score since June.

The newly released teaser opens with Yu Bo Na’s calm remark, “Let’s do it during the day,” as she then coolly aims a sniper rifle from a rooftop. When her team leader Kim Bong Pal (Sung Dong Il) asks, “Is it strategically better to do it during the day?” Yu Bo Na casually replies, “No, it’s because I have to pick up my child,” creating a humorous contrast between her deadly profession and her everyday life as a mother.

The teaser then highlights Yu Bo Na’s fierce charisma as she sets out to eliminate a recently released criminal, accompanied by her ominous line, “May the happiest day of his life become the day of his funeral.”

In what marks her first MBC drama in 15 years, Kong Hyo Jin stars as Yu Bo Na, the seemingly ordinary manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, who is secretly the legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.”

The posters capture the conflicting relationships among Yu Bo Na, Kwon Tae Seong (Jung Jun Won), and Lee Dong Jin (Lee Sang Yi), who each live by different beliefs. The tense pursuit between the three characters—Yu Bo Na, a killer who personally punishes criminals; Kwon Tae Seong, a social affairs reporter who digs into the truth behind cases; and Lee Dong Jin, a detective destined to apprehend criminals—is expected to become a key point of interest in the series as they each seek to achieve justice in their own way.

In the poster, Yu Bo Na stares coldly straight ahead while holding a sniper rifle. True to her reputation as a sniper who takes down vicious criminals with a single shot, she announces her spectacular return to the field, using a rooftop with a wide-open view as her stage. Her flawless all-black outfit reveals the instincts of a killer who does not tolerate even the slightest margin of error. The phrase, “OK, shall we go?” that she says ahead of a client meeting also adds to the intrigue. She is fierce yet spirited as she picks up a gun to protect someone precious to her.

Kwon Tae Seong displays a gaze that blends persistence and emptiness. The employee badge hanging around his neck reflects his sense of duty as a passionate reporter pursuing the truth, but his eyes also reveal the confusion he feels upon encountering signs of Kingfisher’s return. His question, “Are you sure it’s Kingfisher?” brings his past back to the surface, recalling his days as the reporter who once exclusively covered Kingfisher before he abandoned reporting after a certain incident.

Lee Dong Jin reveals his strong determination to apprehend criminals as he points a handgun with a flawless stance. Having chosen the path of a detective rather than pursuing personal revenge despite experiencing a tragedy during his school days, the police identification card attached to his clothing symbolizes his destiny to uphold the law and justice. The phrase, “Nice to see you, Kingfisher!” encapsulates his relentless pursuit instinct built over a long period of time.

The production team said, “Through these character posters, we wanted to show the contrast between the three characters with different beliefs within a single space, the rooftop. Please look forward to the individual stories of killer Yu Bo Na, reporter Kwon Tae Seong, and detective Lee Dong Jin, that will each be portrayed in a balanced way, creating an unpredictable development.”

“A Bona Fide Killer” will premiere on July 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST.

Ha Seok Jin, Jin Kyung, And Mi Ram Are A Fractured Family Hoping To Heal Old Wounds In “Love On The Menu”

“Love on the Menu” has unveiled new stills of Ha Seok Jin’s character’s family!

Ha Seok Jin stars as Kim Moo Jin, the only son of a wealthy family. When he was younger, he gave up his dream of becoming a chef due to his mother’s opposition and instead followed the path laid out by the family business. However, after falling in love with Han Gyu Rim, he chose love over his family and left home. Now, after enduring the pain of heartbreak and spending eight years in Italy becoming a chef, he returns home. A key point to watch will be his journey as he works to unravel years of misunderstandings with his mother Hong Ok Sun, and gradually break down the emotional walls between them.

Jin Kyung plays Hong Ok Sun, the owner of Dong Yoon Group and Kim Moo Jin’s mother. Widowed, she devoted herself to building the company. Although she recognized that her daughter Kim Yoon Jin was exceptionally capable, she insisted on naming her son as her successor, determined to spare her daughter from the discrimination and hardships she herself faced as a woman. A mother who chose strictness in the name of protecting her children, she made the cold-hearted decision to cut ties with her son when he chose love over the family and left home.

Mi Ram takes on the role of Kim Yoon Jin, Hong Ok Sun’s eldest daughter and Kim Moo Jin’s older sister. Despite inheriting her mother’s striking looks and exceptional business acumen, she was repeatedly overlooked as the family’s successor in favor of her younger brother, forcing her to constantly prove her worth. Although she has long viewed Moo Jin as a rival, she also cares deeply for him. After his return eight years later, Yoon Jin is expected to serve as a mediator between her estranged younger brother and their emotionally distant mother.
