i-dle’s Soyeon achieved a double crown on this week’s Circle charts, where her solo hit “I’m gonna TOESA” rose to No. 1 on both the overall digital chart and streaming chart.

The top five songs on this week’s overall digital chart and streaming chart were exactly the same: “I’m gonna TOESA” took No. 1 on both charts, followed by RESCENE’s “LOVE ATTACK” at No. 2, CORTIS’s “REDRED” at No. 3, RESCENE’s “Deja Vu” at No. 4, and I.O.I’s “Suddenly” at No. 5.

Winners Of The Seoul International Drama Awards 2026

The Seoul International Drama Awards 2026 has officially announced its winners!

On September 22, the Seoul International Drama Awards Organizing Committee announced the winners in the International Competition, K-Drama Competition, and International Invitation categories.

On September 29, the committee announced that screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, who has penned numerous hit dramas including “Secret Garden,” “Descendants of the Sun,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “The Glory,” and “Genie, Make a Wish,” would receive the Golden Bird Prize, the highest honor presented by the Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee.

The award recognizes achievements based on criteria including depth of message, originality, global appeal, and the contributions of creators and productions that have expanded the artistic boundaries of television.

With this honor, Kim Eun Sook becomes the first screenwriter to win the Golden Bird Prize and only the fourth individual recipient, following Choi Min Sik, director Park Chan Wook, and Ben Stiller.

September Individual Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,735 idols, using big data collected from August 23 to September 23.

RESCENE’s Woni continued her reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 7,859,086, marking a 13.05 percent increase in her score since August. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “superstar” and “Like Woni,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “cute,” “like,” and “root for.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.58 percent positive reactions.

BTS’s Jimin held onto his spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,845,549, marking a 28.20 percent rise in his score since last month.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon shot to third place after seeing a 149.08 percent increase in his brand reputation index, bringing his total score to 6,070,909 for September.

RESCENE’s Zena jumped to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,904,063, marking a 71.61 percent rise in her score since last month.

Finally, BTS’s Jungkook rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 5,148,211, marking a 11.56 percent increase in his score since August.

High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “LOVE ATTACK,” “REMINE,” and “Like Woni,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “dependable,” “cute,” and “root for.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.98 percent positive reactions.

IVE’s Jang Won Young held onto her spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,793,562, marking an 8.51 percent increase in her score since August.

aespa’s Karina took third place with a brand reputation index of 5,225,640, while RESCENE’s Zena came in fourth with a score of 5,063,601.

Finally, BLACKPINK’s Jennie rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,579,525 for September.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has won her first music show trophy for “CLICK”!

The September 17 episode of Mnet’s “M Countdown” was a special broadcast featuring replays of past performances instead of the usual live show. However, it still included LE SSERAFIM’s comeback stage for “Made My Night,” marking the first time the group performed the song on a Korean music show.

At the end of the show, it was announced that this week’s candidates for first place were EVAN’s “Death of Me” and Jisoo’s “CLICK.” Jisoo ultimately took the win!

August Individual Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,735 idols, using big data collected from July 19 to August 19.

RESCENE’s Woni held onto her spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,951,891, marking a 27.93 percent increase in her score since July. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “Pretty Girl” and “oishii,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “sunny,” “likable,” and “pretty.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.47 percent positive reactions.

BTS’s Jimin maintained his position at second place with a brand reputation index of 5,339,944, marking a 10.12 percent rise in his score since last month.

IVE’s Jang Won Young took third place with a brand reputation index of 4,694,131, marking a 15.23 percent increase in her score since July.

BTS’s Jungkook came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,614,619, marking a 4.89 percent rise in his score since last month.

Finally, BLACKPINK’s Jennie rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,350,624, marking a 7.06 percent increase in her score since July.

RESCENE’s Woni held onto her spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 8,123,817, marking a 2.02 percent rise in her score since July. High-ranking phrases in her keyword analysis included “LOVE ATTACK” and “REMINE,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “down-to-earth,” “familiar,” and “root for.” Woni’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.52 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, IVE’s Jang Won Young maintained her position at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,261,001 for August.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie rose to third place with a brand reputation index of 5,826,161, marking a 16.88 percent increase in her score since last month.

aespa’s Karina came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 5,761,938, marking a 2.55 percent rise in her score since July.

Finally, RESCENE’s Zena shot to fifth place after seeing a 74.80 percent increase in her brand reputation index, bringing her total score to 5,456,036 for August.
