“Reborn Rookie” has unveiled new stills of its key supporting characters!

“Reborn Rookie” follows Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of the leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group, who is revered as a business genius. After an accident, however, he unexpectedly finds himself living a second life when his soul swaps into the youthful body of a soccer player named Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young), forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.

Following the accident involving Chairman Kang Yong Ho, a fierce succession battle erupts over the vacant chairman position. Alongside Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young)—who now carries Kang Yong Ho’s soul—attention is also focused on the allies who stand beside the chairman’s children: youngest daughter Kang Bang Geul (Lee Ju Myoung), eldest daughter Kang Jae Kyung (Jeon Hye Jin), and eldest son Kang Jae Sung (Jin Goo).

Lee Sung Wook will play Park Bong Gi, the manager of Choi Sung Trading’s Materials Team 2, who becomes an ally to interns Hwang Jun Hyun and Kang Bang Geul after they are assigned to his team. Go Youn Jung Confronts Her Estranged Mother Bae Jong Ok In “We Are All Trying Here”

Go Youn Jung will finally face her trauma by confronting Bae Jong Ok on “We Are All Trying Here”!

JTBC’s “We Are All Trying Here” tells the story of Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), an aspiring film director who, surrounded by successful friends, believes he is the only one whose life isn’t working out. Consumed by anguish, envy, and jealousy, he sets out on a journey in search of peace.

Spoilers

Previously on “We Are All Trying Here,” Byun Eun Ah (Go Youn Jung) was seen struggling with the trauma of having been abandoned by her mother Oh Jung Hee (Bae Jong Ok). After casting aside her husband and biological daughter without a moment’s hesitation, Oh Jung Hee replaced her family with a shinier new husband and stepdaughter, leaving Byun Eun Ah with ineffaceable wounds and disillusionment.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Byun Eun Ah finally confronts her trauma head-on as she comes face to face with Oh Jung Hee, who has been beautifying the past with lies in order to protect her image as an A-list actress. Byun Eun Ah ultimately explodes in a fit of rage and despair, unleashing all the anger and hurt she has kept bottled up until now.

Notably, all of the tearful emotion that Oh Jung Hee displayed during her awards ceremony acceptance speech is nowhere to be found. Instead, she wears a cold expression with absolutely no sign of feeling apologetic towards her daughter.

Refusing to back down amidst the growing tension, Byun Eun Ah stares back at her mother with a fierce gaze that hints at the deep emotional rift between them.

The “We Are All Trying Here” production team teased, “There is a reason why Byun Eun Ah, who had previously warned her mother not to reveal their relationship and hadn’t wanted to meet her face to face, has agreed to meet Oh Jung Hee. At this meeting, she will once again show that ‘I’m a mild-mannered girl, but I am not a pushover.’”

They added, “Please look forward to the change in Byun Eun Ah, who chooses not to remain trapped in her bleak reality but is instead fighting vigorously after gaining the courage to try fighting.”

To find out what happens between Byun Eun Ah and Oh Jung Hee, catch the next episode of “We Are All Trying Here” on May 9 at 10:40 p.m. KST!

Uhm Hyun Kyung And Yoon Jong Hun Share Tender Moment After Office Fallout In “Our Happy Days”

“Our Happy Days” has unveiled new stills that preview subtle romantic tension emerging between Uhm Hyun Kyung and Yoon Jong Hun!

“Our Happy Days” is a warm family series filled with stories from multiple generations, centering on a tense clash between the world’s most perfect man and an endearingly clumsy woman—each striving to become the main character of their own life.

Spoilers

Previously, Jo Eun Ae (Uhm Hyun Kyung) questioned Go Gyeol’s (Yoon Jong Hun) tendency to stay out of the office ahead of a major competition between Task Force Teams 1 and 2 within the Strategic Planning Division. She even tried to stop him from heading out for another off-site assignment, but ultimately failed.

Later, while struggling as she didn’t have the necessary server access to access “Joy,” Jo Eun Ae lingered near Go Gyeol’s desk—only to catch a glimpse of images displayed on his monitor. When Go Gyeol discovered this, he lashed out in anger, igniting a fresh wave of conflict between them.

In the newly released stills, Go Gyeol and Jo Eun Ae lock eyes with sharp, tense expressions, creating an atmosphere that feels ready to explode at any moment. Jo Eun Ae’s act of secretly looking at his monitor becomes the catalyst, and under Go Gyeol’s harsh reprimand, she is left on the verge of tears.

However, the mood shifts at the team dinner. Facing each other again, the two display a noticeably different dynamic. Jo Eun Ae takes the lead with a bright, unaffected attitude, while Go Gyeol watches her with a mix of concern and quiet attention—creating a subtle sense of fluttering tension. As the free-spirited Jo Eun Ae gradually begins to break through Go Gyeol’s guarded demeanor, curiosity grows over how their relationship will evolve.

Meanwhile, Seo Seung Ri (Yoon Da Young) is left conflicted after witnessing Go Gyeol and Jo Eun Ae sharing a warm moment while singing together. Having recently returned to Korea and determined to pursue her first love Go Gyeol, she finds the scene difficult to accept. At the same time, Go Min Ho (Jung Yoon), who has feelings for Seung Ri, is also left uneasy. How will these intertwined emotions shape what lies ahead?

Uhm Hyun Kyung Considers Yoon Jong Hun’s Unexpected Offer In “Our Happy Days”

Uhm Hyun Kyung begins to find a breakthrough in “Our Happy Days.”

“Our Happy Days” is a warm family series filled with stories from multiple generations, centering on a tense clash between the world’s most perfect man and an endearingly clumsy woman—each striving to become the main character of their own life.

Spoilers

Previously, Jo Eun Ae (Uhm Hyun Kyung) was caught by director Go Min Ho (Jung Yoon) while secretly photographing the acquisition contract for Lucky Joy Tech, and was taken to the police station. Faced with Go Min Ho’s firm stance to handle the matter by the law, she ultimately ended up in a holding cell. Meanwhile, after learning through his grandmother Lee Young Hwa (Jung Young Sook) that Jo Eun Ae is the true developer behind the senior-focused AI “Joy,” Go Gyeol (Yoon Jong Hun) stepped in and proposed a reasonable settlement to Go Min Ho.

Newly released stills show Go Gyeol and Jo Eun Ae locked in a tense standoff across the partition in the visitation room. Go Gyeol offers her an unexpected deal—an internship position at Kang Soo Construction—but Jo Eun Ae continues her sharp confrontation against the company that took “Joy” from her. However, the mood soon shifts, and with her fists clenched and eyes gleaming with resolve, curiosity builds over what decision she ultimately makes.

Elsewhere, Go Min Ho and Seo Seung Ri (Yoon Da Young) share a meal, but their contrasting moods create an unusual tension. While Go Min Ho appears at ease, Seo Seung Ri suddenly makes a secretive request that freezes the atmosphere. Having previously resolved to pursue Go Gyeol directly, viewers are left wondering what she says to his older brother, Go Min Ho.
