Get ready for a tense confrontation between So Ji Sub and Joo Sang Wook on “Agent Kim Reactivated”!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Agent Kim Reactivated” is an action revenge drama that tells the story of Manager Kim (So Ji Sub), a seemingly ordinary dad with a secret past who puts everything on the line to save his beloved daughter.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Manager Kim finally faces off with Joo Kang Chan (Joo Sang Wook). In stark contrast to the battered and bruised Manager Kim, who has clearly been through a rough physical fight, Joo Kang Chan looks immaculate and perfectly polished as he lounges in a luxurious armchair with not a hair out of place.

As the two men share a tense conversation, Joo Kang Chan sneers arrogantly at Manager Kim, who is barely suppressing his fury.

Although the two men are both motivated by strong paternal love, they express it in polar-opposite ways: while Manager Kim risked his life to save his daughter, Joo Kang Chan didn’t hesitate to take another person’s life in order to cover up his daughter’s crimes. It remains to be seen how the fierce confrontation between these very different men will play out.

“Manager Kim and Joo Kang Chan, who both share the title of father but have walked entirely different paths, finally come face to face,” teased the drama’s production team. “A feast of breathtaking acting by So Ji Sub and Joo Sang Wook will unfold [in this scene]. Please look forward to it.”

July Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for drama actors!

The rankings were determined through a data analysis of the media coverage, participation, interaction, and community indexes of 100 actors who appeared in dramas that aired between June 14 and July 14.

So Ji Sub, who is currently tearing up the screen in the hit drama “Agent Kim Reactivated,” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,583,287. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “paternal love,” “tune in,” and “middle-aged vigilante,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “solid,” “satisfying,” and “ weighty.” So Ji Sub’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.58 percent positive reactions.

Heo Nam Jun, who recently stole hearts in “My Royal Nemesis,” took second place with a brand reputation index of 5,934,217 for the month.

“Teach You a Lesson” stars Kim Moo Yul and Jin Ki Joo took the next two spots on the list: Kim Moo Yul ranked third with a brand reputation index of 5,562,319, while Jin Ki Joo followed in fourth with a score of 4,078,934.

Park Ji Hoon, who most recently starred in “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier,” came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 4,037,804 for July.

“Agent Kim Reactivated” has unveiled a new teaser!

The newly released teaser begins with Manager Kim heading home from work as usual and enjoying a night out together with his friends Sung Han Soo (Choi Dae Hoon) and Park Jin Chul (Yoon Kyung Ho).

However, the mood quickly shifts. As Sung Han Soo asks, “How long are you going to live with your daughter as your whole world?” the teaser cuts to Manager Kim’s daughter Min Ji (Seo Su Min) being bullied by her classmates. Rushing to her school, Manager Kim kneels before the adults involved and says, “I know I have shortcomings as a single parent. Please forgive her.”

But tragedy follows when Min Ji tearfully asks, “Why won’t you believe me, Dad?” before suddenly disappearing. Determined to find her, Manager Kim begins searching with the help of his friends. The teaser then launches into a series of intense action scenes as he takes down enemies with his fists and even an axe. He warns them, “I’m only letting you live because I believe my daughter is still alive. Otherwise, you’d all be dead.”

After the chilling declaration, explosions erupt and chaos unfolds. Sung Han Soo battles enemies using whatever he can get his hands on, including a fire extinguisher, while Park Jin Chul smashes through glass and unleashes a barrage of punches, showcasing the trio’s formidable fighting skills.

The newly released teaser opens with the sound of footsteps echoing through the night. In the darkness, Manager Kim desperately calls out, “Where are you?” before opening the door to a mysterious shipping container.

The teaser then flashes back to his past as an undercover operative who worked between North and South Korea. It is followed by a scene in which his wife lies in a hospital bed and tells him, “Forget everything and live as Min Ji’s father now.”

From there, viewers see Manager Kim devotedly raising his daughter Min Ji—from her days as a newborn to kindergarten and eventually high school—fully embracing life as a loving father.

However, his peaceful life as an ordinary office worker is short-lived. As his late wife’s words, “Make sure she grows up loved,” echo in the background, Min Ji’s trembling cry of “Dad…” and scenes of her being chased through the rain foreshadow a looming danger that threatens to upend their lives.

Then, after hearing the challenge, “Are you just going to stand by and watch?” Manager Kim adjusts his glasses and undergoes a striking shift in demeanor.

The teaser’s major twist begins with the caption, “The world’s most ordinary father is coming.” As Manager Kim reveals scars and a muscular physique beneath his torn shirt, other father characters also begin to appear.
