Upcoming film “The Journey to Gyeongju” has unveiled its first teaser!

“The Journey to Gyeongju” is a family revenge film about a mother and three daughters who embark on a “killer” journey after waiting eight years, all for their youngest daughter Gyeong Ju who never returned from a school field trip.

The teaser begins by introducing the family at the center of the story, with mother Ok Sil (Lee Jung Eun) wearing a solemn expression, followed by her three daughters—Jang Joo (Kong Hyo Jin), Young Ju (Park So Dam), and Dong Ju (Lee Yeon)—as they move an unidentified, heavy object.

Built around the premise of “I kidnapped the murderer who killed my daughter,” the teaser continues with scenes of a yellow van endlessly driving down a fog-covered road, an awkward family photo of the four dressed in matching outfits, the suspicious behavior of the four women chasing in a rice field in broad daylight, and a mysterious presence hidden inside a black plastic bag.

The intrigue is further amplified by the taglines, “The trip is an alibi, the purpose is revenge,” and “A killer family trip, planned exactly as intended, begins,” hinting at the dark secret behind their journey.

Actor Jung Jun Won has found a new agency to call home!

On July 20, COMPANY ON announced, “We have signed an exclusive contract with Jung Jun Won, an actor who has showcased his solid acting skills and warm charm across a wide range of genres. We will spare no effort in supporting him as a reliable partner so that he can continue to expand his activities and show his full potential as an actor.

Sharing his thoughts on joining the agency, Jung Jun Won said, “I hope to create great synergy with COMPANY ON. I’ll continue to work hard with humility so I can take on a wide variety of roles as an actor.”

Since making his debut in the 2015 film “The Avian Kind,” Jung Jun Won has steadily built his acting career through both films and dramas. “OK! Madam: Bon Voyage” has released new action-packed stills!

A sequel to the 2020 hit movie “Okay! Madam,” “OK! Madam: Bon Voyage” once again follows Mi Young (Uhm Jung Hwa) and her family as their luxury cruise vacation takes a dangerous turn when the ship is hijacked in the middle of the ocean.

On July 20, distributor CGV Pictures unveiled four new stills from the upcoming film, offering a glimpse of Uhm Jung Hwa, Sooyoung, Park Sung Woong, and Ryeoun as they showcase both the film’s action and comedy.

Uhm Jung Hwa, who reprises her role as Mi Young, trained extensively for the film, reportedly attending action school every day to prepare for the physically demanding role. She once again transforms into the charismatic former legendary secret agent.

Director Lee Cheol Ha praised the actress, saying, “Knowing what kind of actress Uhm Jung Hwa is, I trusted that she would fully commit to the role. That confidence allowed me to build every action sequence on a larger scale.”

Meanwhile, Sooyoung takes on the role of Anya, the ruthless leader of a criminal organization. With her intense expression, she teases the arrival of a formidable new villain as she goes head-to-head with Mi Young in a series of powerful action scenes while attempting to take control of the cruise ship.

Sooyoung shared, “I had a lot of worries at first, but thanks to working with Uhm Jung Hwa, I think we were able to create some great scenes.” Their intense hand-to-hand fight is expected to be one of the film’s biggest highlights.

While Uhm Jung Hwa and Sooyoung deliver the film’s fierce action, Park Sung Woong and Ryeoun add a comedic touch. Park Sung Woong plays Seok Hwan, whose determined march toward the ship’s bridge hints at clumsy yet satisfying action.

Ryeoun, making his big-screen debut, stars as Ji Hoon, a magician who unexpectedly joins Mi Young in fighting the criminal organization.

Returning to direct after the first film, Lee Cheol Ha described the sequel as “a film packed with refreshing visuals of the sea, sky, and waves that make it perfect for the summer.”

“OK! Madam: Bon Voyage” is set to hit theaters on August 12.

Lee Do Hyun Confirmed To Star Alongside Lee Byung Hun And Go Youn Jung In Upcoming Historical Action Film

Lee Do Hyun has officially joined the cast of the upcoming film “Nambeol” (romanized title)!

On July 20, a media outlet reported that Lee Do Hyun had been cast in the film “Nambeol.”

In response to the report, the film’s production company Hive Media Corp officially confirmed Lee Do Hyun’s casting.

Set in the early Joseon dynasty, “Nambeol” is a hard-boiled martial arts action film that follows nine warriors of varying abilities and social ranks as they travel to Tsushima Island to rescue captives who have been abducted by Japanese pirates.

Earlier, Lee Byung Hun was confirmed to star as Im Eok, the leader of the group of warriors, while Go Youn Jung will play the strong-willed and independent Ae Ryeong.

Lee Do Hyun will take on the role of Bo Gyeong, a warrior who leads the punitive force at the forefront of the story. Bo Gyeong is a highly skilled fighter and the loyal right-hand man of Im Eok. The character is expected to showcase both intense action and strong camaraderie, making him a multidimensional figure.

The film will be directed by Lee Mo Gae, who is making his feature directorial debut. Lee Mo Gae and Lee Do Hyun previously worked together on “Exhuma,” with Lee Mo Gae serving as the cinematographer. Their strong working relationship from that project is said to have contributed to Lee Do Hyun’s casting in the film.

“A Bona Fide Killer” is an action drama about a working mother with a lethal job who is fighting to protect her work-life balance. Kong Hyo Jin stars as Yu Bo Na, the seemingly ordinary manager of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, who is also secretly the legendary sniper known as “Kingfisher.”

The newly released teaser opens with Yu Bo Na’s calm remark, “Let’s do it during the day,” as she then coolly aims a sniper rifle from a rooftop. When her team leader Kim Bong Pal (Sung Dong Il) asks, “Is it strategically better to do it during the day?” Yu Bo Na casually replies, “No, it’s because I have to pick up my child,” creating a humorous contrast between her deadly profession and her everyday life as a mother.

The teaser then highlights Yu Bo Na’s fierce charisma as she sets out to eliminate a recently released criminal, accompanied by her ominous line, “May the happiest day of his life become the day of his funeral.”

His investigation gradually brings him closer to uncovering the true identity of the person he loves most—his own wife.

Detective Lee Dong Jin (Lee Sang Yi) also springs into action after learning that Kingfisher has resurfaced. Ahn Bo Hyun has shared more insights into “Flex x Cop 2”!

In “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir turned detective who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes whenever an investigation reaches a dead end, while Jung Eun Chae plays veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

Ahead of the premiere of “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun sat down for an interview to share his thoughts on the new season and what viewers can look forward to.

Jin Yi Soo first stumbled into police work by chance, but eventually developed a strong sense of justice and camaraderie, choosing to become a full-fledged detective instead of inheriting his family’s conglomerate. In Season 1, the lovable attention-seeker won viewers over with his flashy investigative style, sparing no expense or connection to catch criminals.

Looking back on learning that the drama had been renewed for Season 2, Ahn Bo Hyun shared, “More than anything, I was excited that I’d get to experience the special atmosphere from Season 1 all over again. After adjusting everyone’s schedules, more than 90 percent of the original staff returned, so stepping onto set felt like coming back to school after summer break and starting a new semester. Thanks to the amazing staff, cast, and all of our special guest stars, filming was incredibly enjoyable.”

While Season 1 focused on Jin Yi Soo’s journey from an immature chaebol heir to a growing detective, Season 2 will follow him after completing formal police academy training as he takes on cases as a true detective.

Ahn Bo Hyun explained, “As we prepared for Season 2, the director, writer, and I had many discussions because I wanted Yi Soo to clearly show that he’d grown another step and become a more mature detective. We wanted to preserve his signature energy and beagle-like personality while showing a more serious and dependable side whenever he’s investigating.”

He also teased that Jin Yi Soo’s signature “money-powered” investigations have been taken to the next level this season. Naming the private jet as his favorite investigative “cheat code,” Ahn Bo Hyun said, “Right from his very first appearance, he’ll make an impression with the overwhelming scale of arriving on his own private jet.”

He added, “I think viewers will enjoy the satisfying feeling of seeing unrealistic situations resolved in spectacular fashion through Yi Soo’s wealth and influence—things that would never happen in real life.”

Ahn Bo Hyun also highlighted the drama’s action sequences, saying, “I wanted to deliver action scenes that were every bit as polished as Season 1, so I filmed many of them myself without using a stunt double. I hope viewers will look forward to the thrilling, exhilarating action this season.”

Another major highlight of Season 2 will be Jin Yi Soo’s new partnership with Jung Eun Chae’s character Joo Hye Ra. Joo Hye Ra is Jin Yi Soo’s former police academy instructor—known for being a strict disciplinarian who often scolded him—who is assigned as the new leader of Violent Crimes Unit 1 and becomes his investigative partner.

Teasing their dynamic, Ahn Bo Hyun laughed, “Every time Joo Hye Ra sees Jin Yi Soo, she calls him a ‘crazy guy.’ I think viewers will have fun watching Yi Soo suddenly become so meek whenever he’s around her.”

Speaking about working with Jung Eun Chae, he added, “It was my first time working with her. She’s a warm and very charming actress. Unlike her elegant on-screen image, she’s actually very easygoing and straightforward, which made the atmosphere on set really enjoyable.”

As for reuniting with his Violent Crimes Unit 1 teammates, portrayed by Kang Sang Jun and Kim Shin Bi, Ahn Bo Hyun said, “We’ve built such strong chemistry that we can understand each other just by exchanging a glance. Even though they bicker, the members of Violent Crimes Unit 1 gradually become closer and more united, so I hope viewers will look forward to their teamwork.”

Jung Hae In Tries To Protect Amnesiac Ha Young As Heo Sung Tae Hunts Her Down In “Our Sticky Love”

Netflix’s upcoming series “Our Sticky Love” has unveiled new character stills!

“Our Sticky Love” is a sweet romantic comedy that follows Go Eun Sae (Ha Young), an amnesiac prosecutor who suddenly finds herself living under the same roof with Jang Tae Ha (Jung Hae In), a boxing coach who claims he’s her boyfriend. Set in a quiet countryside village lined with yeot (traditional Korean taffy) shops, their unexpected cohabitation sparks a quirky, heart-fluttering romance that’s as sweet—and sticky—as its setting.

The newly released stills showcase two very different sides of Jang Tae Ha, the self-proclaimed boyfriend of Go Eun Sae. In one, he flashes a bright, carefree smile while dressed casually at his boxing gym. In another, he appears with neatly styled hair and an impeccably tailored black suit, his intense gaze hinting at a far more serious side. The stark contrast between his easygoing demeanor and his solemn presence raises questions about the secrets Jang Tae Ha is hiding.

Describing Jang Tae Ha as “the definition of a devoted romantic,” Jung Hae In said, “He’s someone who always does his best to protect the person he loves, no matter the circumstances. At the same time, he has an unexpectedly clumsy and awkward side that makes him charming.”

He continued, “I tried to naturally portray the differences in his emotions and attitude throughout each stage of his life—from a struggling boxer to an executive within a crime organization. After Tae Ha reunites with Go Eun Sae, I paid particular attention to capturing his inner conflicts and the lengths he goes to in order to protect her.”

Ha Young’s character Go Eun Sae also promises to showcase a wide range of charms. One still captures her waking up in a small rural hospital after losing all of her memories and suffering injuries. Another reveals her life before the accident, when she was known as Go Ji Won, an elite prosecutor who would stop at nothing to get the job done. While pursuing a violent crime organization in hopes of advancing her career, Go Ji Won becomes caught in an unexpected accident.

Speaking about her character, Ha Young shared, “Go Ji Won spent her life relentlessly chasing her goals without looking back. But after losing her memories, she’s stripped away from everything that once defined her and gradually returns to her true self. Watching her grow through the love she receives from Jang Tae Ha and the people around her made me want to root for her. Even when she makes mistakes, she’s a character you can’t help but love.”

The newly released stills also introduce Baek Sang Gil (Heo Sung Tae), the boss of the criminal organization Jang Tae Ha once belonged to. Having completely erased his criminal past and built a new identity, Baek Sang Gil exudes an intimidating aura, his piercing gaze hinting at his ruthless nature. Believing he had successfully eliminated prosecutor Go Ji Won—the person who knew his weakness—he begins hunting her down after learning she is still alive.

Returning as the drama’s formidable villain, Heo Sung Tae described Baek Sang Gil as “a character whose mere presence heightens the tension of the story.” He explained, “I thought a lot about how to portray the contrast between the image he presents in society and his true self. I wanted him to remain calm and composed while also bringing out the cold, ruthless cruelty at his core.”

Director Kim Jang Han also expressed his confidence in the cast. “Jung Hae In was the perfect fit for Jang Tae Ha, a character who needed to be strong yet sweet, while also having an adorably awkward side. Whether it was romantic comedy or intense action scenes, he excelled across the board,” he said.

Praising the rest of the cast, the director added, “Ha Young’s naturally warm and emotional personality allowed her to make Go Eun Sae lovable, even in moments when the character could have come across as unlikeable. SBS’s “Flex x Cop 2” has unveiled an action-packed second teaser ahead of its premiere!

The newly released teaser opens with Jin Yi Soo’s Violent Crimes Unit 1 teammates boarding his private jet. When Joo Hye Ra asks, “Must be nice being rich?” Jin Yi Soo confidently replies, “Can’t complain,” once again showing off the confidence of the wealthy detective.

The growing partnership between Jin Yi Soo and Joo Hye Ra also becomes one of the biggest highlights of the season. Despite their contrasting personalities and frequent bickering, the two gradually learn to work together as they tackle everything from high-speed supercar chases to complex criminal cases.

The teaser then introduces Yoo Sung Won (Yoo Seung Ho), whose arrival raises plenty of questions. After warmly embracing Jin Yi Soo with a bright smile, Yoo Sung Won is shown with his face covered in blood, wearing a chilling grin that hints at a shocking twist. Meanwhile, Joo Hye Ra is watching him with a meaningful gaze, further fueling curiosity about his true identity and hidden past.

In addition, an impressive lineup of special appearances—including Heo Sung Tae, Joo Hyun Young, Lee Suk, Son Woo Hyeon, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Hye Eun, and Lee Hak Joo—will add even more excitement to the drama.
