Lee Joon Gi And Sakaguchi Kentaro Face A Shared Kidnapping Crisis Across Borders In “kiDnap GAME”

Upcoming drama “kiDnap GAME” has unveiled new stills of Lee Joon Gi and Sakaguchi Kentaro!

“kiDnap GAME” is a thriller centered on an unprecedented kidnapping case that unfolds simultaneously across seven Asian cities—Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha, and Manila. The story follows seven individuals who are each given different missions and forced into a deadly survival game, where they must complete their assignments before anyone else in order to save their loved ones and survive.

Sakaguchi Kentaro plays Niide Toshiro, a Tokyo detective with a strong sense of justice and a resolute inner strength. While pursuing a case as a detective, he becomes personally involved when his wife is kidnapped. Even as his family is placed in danger, he continues to uncover the truth behind the kidnapping and closes in on those behind it.

Lee Joon Gi transforms into Han Ki Joo, a doctor in Seoul. Han Ki Joo’s ordinary life is also shattered when his daughter is kidnapped. Desperate to save her, he is forced to follow the harsh rules set by the kidnapper and repeatedly makes extreme choices in an effort to save his family.

As Niide Toshiro and Han Ki Joo confront the case in different ways while each tries to save his wife and daughter, respectively, another key point of interest will be how the two become entangled. In particular, as the choices of the two men, both pushed to the brink, collide, their confrontation and emotional shifts will form another central axis of the story.

As people of different nationalities and professions become entangled in the same incident, the stories unfolding across seven cities gradually converge into one. In this survival game, only one person can remain alive, and the participants must make choices to save the people they hold dear while facing situations in which those choices could put someone else in danger.

The series delves not only into the process of tracking down those responsible for the kidnappings but also into why each character was drawn into the game. Small decisions and actions the characters made without a second thought in their ordinary lives lead to unexpected consequences, while the seven people who initially appear to have no connection gradually become intertwined.

“kiDnap GAME” will premiere on Channel A on October 6 at 10 p.m. KST.

Jin Sun Kyu, Gong Myoung, Kim Ji Suk, And More Get Caught Up In The Kidnapping Of Kang Han Na In New Film “Husbands In Action”

The upcoming Netflix film “Husbands in Action” has shared new stills of its characters!

“Husbands in Action” is an action-comedy about an ex-husband and a current husband who reluctantly join forces to rescue a wife kidnapped by a dangerous criminal organization.

The stills present a chaotic story, featuring Chung Sik (Jin Sun Kyu), an ace narcotics detective and the ex-husband, and Min Seok (Gong Myoung), a young, handsome veterinarian and current husband. The two are locked in a tense battle of wills over family section seating at their daughter’s English speech contest, setting up anticipation for their clashing chemistry and comedic back-and-forth.

In the stills, the two men are shown deep in thought as they stand in front of a uniquely designed animal hospital van with ear-like features, then chasing someone through a residential alley, and later being pressed closely together inside a cold storage facility. Forced to stay together at all times for an operation, their coordination as they work to save their wife and daughter heightens anticipation.

Meanwhile, Do Joon (Kim Ji Suk), the leader of the new drug organization “Black Sugar” is taken hostage and forced into the two husbands’ joint operation as part of a plan orchestrated by Do Joon’s wife Hye Ran (Lee Da Hee).

The image of Min Seok gripping the steering wheel with a faintly unhinged look in his eyes, alongside Do Joon who appears visibly terrified while being held captive, foreshadows the various ordeals he will face during the operation.

Adding to the mix, Yong Kang (Yoon Kyung Ho), who is released from prison after serving a 10-year sentence, draws attention with attire that evokes the aura of a boss and a confident demeanor as he leads his subordinates. He joins the husbands’ rescue operation to deal with Do Joon after he has taken over his territory, teasing the variables he will introduce.

Also central to the story are Si Nae (Kang Han Na), the kidnapped wife of the two husbands and the starting point of the narrative; Hye Ran, who orchestrates a kidnapping scheme to recover her husband Do Joon; and Ara (Jun So Min), a social affairs reporter who circles around Chung Sik in pursuit of an exclusive story.

Si Nae is shown lying her daughter on her lap to comfort her, suggesting a calm and steady presence that does not waver despite the kidnapping and signaling someone who refuses to be intimidated in a crisis.

Hye Ran, seated in a suit and wearing accessories, shows cool charisma as the organization’s brain.

Ara, staring intently with a serious facial expression, reflects her role as a reporter who frequently moves between police circles in pursuit of stories.

In other moments, Si Nae is seen watching her ex-husband Chung Sik with her arms crossed in apparent disapproval, Hye Ran continues a presentation while wearing glasses, and Ara smiles as she looks at Chung Sik, further teasing their respective roles.

“Husbands in Action” will premiere on June 19.

Lee Seol Is A Hospital Chairwoman And Namkoong Min’s Wife Who Faces A Shocking Kidnapping In “The Husband”

Upcoming drama “The Husband” has unveiled new stills of Lee Seol in character!

“The Husband” is a romance thriller that follows Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), a man who becomes entangled in a desperate fight against a ruthless criminal in order to rescue his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.

Lee Seol plays Go Se Yoon, the wife of Kang Tae Joo. Although Go Se Yoon graduated from the same medical school as her husband, she now serves as the chairwoman of We Are Together Hospital. A workaholic who refuses to give up either her career or her family, she has been living with complicated feelings toward Kang Tae Joo. However, her life is thrown into an extreme situation when she is kidnapped by Noh Man Hee (Kim Dae Myeung) the day after her husband brings up divorce.

Having even cut off her long hair for the role, Lee Seol showcases her dedication to portraying Go Se Yoon. Newly released stills capture her first appearance as the character, conveying the calm exterior and the brewing storm beneath the surface.

The photos show Go Se Yoon displaying very different emotional states at the hospital and at home. At the hospital, she exudes the coldness and decisive charisma expected of a chairwoman. At home, however, she reveals a sense of fragility through subtly wavering eyes despite her composed demeanor. As Go Se Yoon faces both a looming divorce and a sudden kidnapping, anticipation is growing over what lies ahead for her tragic fate.

Lee Seol shared, “The script was incredibly gripping from start to finish. Above all, I had always wanted the opportunity to work alongside Namkoong Min, an actor I deeply admire and trust, so I accepted the role without hesitation.”

She also revealed the special effort she put into bringing her character to life, saying, “When I read the script and thought about Se Yoon, the first thing that came to mind was a pearl. I personally searched for and selected pearls to create custom earrings and a necklace for her.” She added, “I also cut my hair short to achieve a more sophisticated look.”

KBS 2TV’s upcoming weekend miniseries “The Husband” is scheduled to premiere on July 4 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
