Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 3!
Stray Kids’ latest mini album “THIS & THAT” continued its reign at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, marking its sixth non-consecutive week at the top. “THIS & THAT” also spent a seventh week on the Billboard 200 at No. 34.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids’ 2025 album “KARMA” re-entered the World Albums chart at No. 25, marking its 54th overall week on the chart.
EVAN (Heeseung)’s first mini album “DEATH OF ME” jumped to a new peak of No. 2 in its third week on the World Albums chart, in addition to making a strong debut in the top 50 of Billboard 200.
ENHYPEN’s latest mini album “THE SIN : BLISS” held relatively steady at No. 4 in its fifth week on the World Albums chart, and it also spent a fifth week on the Billboard 200 at No. 196.
CORTIS’s latest EP “GREENGREEN” ranked No. 5 in its 21st week on the World Albums chart, trailed by their debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” at No. 8 in its 55th week.
ILLIT’s “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” held onto its spot at No. 7 in its 21st week on the chart, while TUIDE’s debut EP “TUNE & PLAY” took No. 9 in its second week.
Once again, BTS landed three different albums on this week’s chart. “Proof” came in at No. 11 in its 224th week on the chart, followed by “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~” at No. 15 (in its 47th week) and “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 16 (in its 204th week).
LE SSERAFIM’s “PUREFLOW” maintained its position at No. 12 in its 18th week on the chart, while ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” ranked No. 14 in its 13th week.
Finally, aespa’s “LEMONADE” took No. 17 in its 17th week on the chart, with NewJeans’ “Get Up” rounding out the top 20 in its 159th week.
Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Makes 3 Separate Donations For His Birthday
Stray Kids’ Bang Chan celebrated his birthday by making generous donations to three different causes.
On October 3, JYP Entertainment revealed that Bang Chan had donated a total of 300 million won (approximately $223,218) for his 29th birthday. The Stray Kids leader donated 100 million won (approximately $74,406) each to the organizations HearCycle, World Vision, and OSEAN.
Bang Chan’s donation to HearCycle will go towards medical expenses and social rehabilitation support for young people with hearing loss, while his donation to World Vision will be used for scholarship programs and customized growth support for children and adolescents who are vulnerable or from low-income backgrounds. Finally, his donation to OSEAN will be used for coastal cleanup, marine debris removal, and river purification.
“It means a lot to me to be able to make even a small gesture of support across multiple areas in need of a helping hand, from children’s dreams to our own backyard,” said Bang Chan. “I hope that my [donations] reach those in need and help us dream together of a better tomorrow.”
Before making these three donations for his birthday, Bang Chan also donated a total of 200 million won to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and the Korean Committee for UNICEF just this past September.
Stray Kids Confirmed To Have Not Submitted Music For 2027 Grammy Awards
Stray Kids did not submit any music for the 69th Grammy Awards.
On October 2, Sports Kyunghyang reported that Stray Kids did not submit any work before the August 21 deadline. Under Grammy rules, works that are not formally submitted cannot be considered for nominations or appear on the voting ballot.
Following the report, a JYP Entertainment representative confirmed, “Stray Kids did not submit any work to the Grammys.” However, the agency did not provide a specific reason for the decision or comment on whether it was related to the creation of the new Asian Pop category.
The decision has drawn attention as all eight Stray Kids members were invited to join the Recording Academy as voting members this year, meaning that they will be eligible to participate in the voting process for Grammy nominees and winners.
BTS also previously announced that they would not submit music for the 69th Grammy Awards. In July, the members shared through their respective social media accounts, “We hope that music will be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being categorized by region or language.”
The 69th Grammy Awards will take place on February 7, 2027.

TUIDE’s debut EP “TUNE & PLAY” entered the World Albums chart at No. 3 this week following its physical release in the United States.
CORTIS’s “GREENGREEN” remained unmoving at No. 4 in its 20th week on the World Albums chart, and their debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” also held onto its spot at No. 5 in its 54th week on the chart.

On September 23 at approximately 3:25 p.m. KST, the music video for Stray Kids’ latest release “This & That” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
The music video was released on August 7 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning it reached the milestone in just 47 days (one month and 16 days). This makes “This & That” Stray Kids’ fastest music video to surpass 100 million views, breaking the group’s previous record.

Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Makes 2 Separate Donations To Meaningful Causes
Stray Kids’ Bang Chan has made generous donations to two different causes.
On September 19, JYP Entertainment revealed that Bang Chan had recently donated a total of 200 million won (approximately $144,296): 100 million won (approximately $72,148) to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital and 100 million won to the Korean Committee for UNICEF.
Notably, Bang Chan designated that his donation to the Korean Committee for UNICEF be used for emergency relief and recovery efforts in areas of Nepal affected by the recent floods.
Meanwhile, his donation to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital will go towards establishing a “specialized custom rehabilitation center” that tailors to patients’ specific ages and medical conditions.
“I wanted to provide even the slightest comfort to those going through difficult and exhausting times,” said Bang Chan. “I sincerely hope that many people will be able to return to peaceful daily lives as quickly as possible.”

Stray Kids’ “THIS & THAT” Re-Enters Top 15 Of Billboard 200 In 5th Week
Over a month after its release, Stray Kids’ latest album has returned to the top 15 of the Billboard 200!
On September 15 local time, Billboard revealed that Stray Kids’ 10th mini album “THIS & THAT” had climbed back up to No. 15 in its fifth consecutive week on the Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.
“THIS & THAT,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last month, also continued its reign at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart this week. Additionally, “THIS & THAT” climbed back up to No. 2 on the Top Album Sales chart, meaning it was the second best-selling album of the week in the United States.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids held steady at No. 21 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their 147th overall week on the chart.
Stray Kids’ Felix Makes Meaningful Birthday Donation To Help Children In Need
Stray Kids member Felix has celebrated his birthday in a meaningful way!
On September 15, Felix donated 100 million won (approximately $74,000) each to Samsung Medical Center and Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, along with 50 million won (approximately $37,000) each to Books International and UNICEF Korea, for a total of 300 million won (approximately $222,000).
The donations will be used for various causes supporting children in need. At Samsung Medical Center, the funds will cover medical expenses for children and adolescents with cancer, while the donation to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital will support children from vulnerable backgrounds. Meanwhile, the donation to Books International will support the creation and production of picture books in children’s native languages as part of cultural education and awareness programs using picture books as a medium. The donation to UNICEF Korea will be used for emergency relief efforts following severe flooding in Nepal.
Sharing the meaning behind his donation, Felix said, “I hope many children’s days will be filled with clear hope instead of worry. I sincerely hope this can become a small but warm source of strength for their precious today and tomorrow.”
This donation continues Felix’s efforts to give back and support children in need. In 2024 and 2025, he donated through UNICEF and World Vision to support children in need. He has also joined his fellow Stray Kids members in supporting disaster recovery efforts following wildfires in South Korea and a fire in Hong Kong.
