September Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from August 5 to September 5.

Yu Jae Seok held onto his spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 4,809,272. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “How Do You Play?”, “You Quiz on the Block,” and “Running Man,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “talk,” “funny,” and “consistent.” Yu Jae Seok’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.83 percent positive reactions.

Lee Sung Min rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 3,307,041, marking a 20.62 percent increase in his score since August.

Shin Dong Yup climbed to third place with a brand reputation index of 2,060,255, marking a 42.15 percent rise in his score since last month.

Kim Jong Kook took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 1,538,092, while Kang Ho Dong came in at a close fifth with a score of 1,481,250.

September Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 755 boy group members, using big data collected from August 19 to September 19.

BTS’s Jimin held onto his spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 3,905,514. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Who,” and “Like Crazy,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “beautiful,” “prove,” and “record.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.82 percent positive reactions.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 3,517,368, marking a 56.04 percent increase in his score since August.

ATEEZ’s San maintained his position at third place with a brand reputation index of 3,296,639 for September.

BTS’s Jungkook came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 3,165,241, marking a 1.51 percent rise in his score since last month.

Finally, BTS’s Jin rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,873,340, marking a 0.74 percent increase in his score since August.

Yu Jae Seok continued his reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 5,263,371, marking a 1.21 percent increase in his score since July. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “How Do You Play?”, “Happy Together,” and “Running Man,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “outstanding,” “meticulous,” and “humble.” Yu Jae Seok’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.08 percent positive reactions.

Kim Jong Kook rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 2,792,003, marking a 52.84 percent increase in his score since last moth.

Meanwhile, Lee Sung Min shot to third place with a brand reputation index of 2,741,606 for August.

HaHa came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 2,689,721, and Kim Joon Ho rounded out the top five with a score of 2,627,666.

BTS’s Jimin continued his reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 3,992,107, marking a 2.53 percent increase in his score since July. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Who,” and “Billboard,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “sweet,” “beautiful,” and “captivate.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.96 percent positive reactions.

BTS’s Jungkook rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 3,465,181, marking a 3.13 percent increase in his score since last month.

ATEEZ’s San came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 3,347,283, marking a 74.40 percent rise in his score since July.

Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 3,687,282, while BTS’s Jungkook ranked third with a score of 3,359,098.

ATEEZ’s San shot to fourth place after seeing a whopping 815.27 percent increase in his brand reputation index since last month, bringing his total score to 1,919,276 for July.

SUPER JUNIOR-83z Tops iTunes Charts Around The World With Unit Debut Album “Promise”

The debut of Super Junior’s newest unit is off to a promising start!

On July 13 at 6 p.m. KST, Leeteuk and Kim Heechul’s new unit SUPER JUNIOR-83z made their debut with their first mini album “Promise” and its title track of the same name.

Immediately upon its release, the mini album soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries across the globe. According to SM Entertainment, by July 14, “Promise” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 10 different regions, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Paraguay, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Meanwhile, SUPER JUNIOR-83z will be performing their new song “Promise” live on the July 18 episode of MBC’s “Music Core.”

June Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from May 6 to June 6.

Yu Jae Seok continued his reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 5,510,453. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “Jae Seok’s B&B Rules!”, “You Quiz on the Block,” and “How Do You Play?”, while his highest-ranking related terms included “comfortable,” “heartwarming,” and “talk.” Yu Jae Seok’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.13 percent positive reactions.

Kim Jong Kook rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 3,114,066, marking a 32.39 percent increase in his score since May.

HaHa came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 3,094,165, marking a 1.26 percent rise in his score since last month.

Lee Soo Ji jumped to fourth place after seeing a 77.55 percent increase in her brand reputation index since May, bringing her total score to 2,877,256.

Finally, Jun Hyun Moo rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,711,999 for June.

SUPER JUNIOR-83z Announces Unit Debut Date With 1st Teaser For “Promise”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Kim Heechul have kicked off the countdown to their unit debut!

On July 1 at midnight KST, Leeteuk and Heechul officially announced the date and details for their upcoming debut as the new unit SUPER JUNIOR-83z.

SUPER JUNIOR-83z will be debuting with their first mini album “Promise” on July 13 at 6 p.m. KST.

June Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 755 boy group members, using big data collected from May 20 to June 20,

BTS’s Jimin continued his reign at the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,596,023. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Busan concert,” and “homecoming,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “happy,” “special,” and “joyful.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.55 percent positive reactions.

BTS’s Jungkook took second place with a brand reputation index of 5,011,439, while Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon ranked third with a score of 4,229,246.

BTS’s Jin came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,478,836, and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon rounded out the top five with a score of 2,206,883.
