Ahn Bo Hyun, Kang Sang Jun, And Kim Shin Bi Embrace Luxury During A Mission In New Drama “Flex X Cop 2”

SBS has released new stills of Ahn Bo Hyun and his teammates for Season 2 of “Flex x Cop”!

In “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun will reprise his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes whenever an investigation reaches a dead end. Jung Eun Chae will join the cast as veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

The newly released stills feature a unique field operation involving Jin Yi Soo and the Violent Crimes Unit 1 team of Gangha Police Station. In the previous season, Jin Yi Soo developed strong teamwork with principled officer Park Joon Young (Kang Sang Jun), who initially kept his distance from Jin Yi Soo after viewing him as a “nepotism hire,” as well as rookie Choi Kyung Jin (Kim Shin Bi), who proudly called himself Jin Yi Soo’s biggest fan. In Season 2, the trio will showcase their upgraded chemistry as they reunite once again.

In the stills, Jin Yi Soo exudes luxurious vibes inside a private jet. His perfectly styled hair and tailored suit draw attention as he leans back in a recliner chair while holding a crystal whiskey glass and gazing out the window, showing his signature relaxed demeanor.

The changes in Park Joon Young and Choi Kyung Jin also draw attention. Instead of their usual rough-and-tough detective looks at crime scenes, the two appear in sharp suits, creating relaxed vibes comparable to Jin Yi Soo’s as they hold whiskey glasses in their hands. It remains to be seen what kind of performance the Violent Crimes Unit 1 team, united around Jin Yi Soo, will deliver.

Season 2 of “Flex x Cop” is shaping up to be a star-studded affair!

In SBS’s upcoming drama “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun will reprise his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes whenever an investigation reaches a dead end. Jung Eun Chae will join the cast as veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

On July 10, SBS released an “opening credit teaser” that offers a sneak peek at not only the starring cast but also the impressive special appearance lineup for Season 2.

“Flex x Cop” Season 2 has shared its first teaser!

In “Flex x Cop 2,” Ahn Bo Hyun will reprise his starring role as Jin Yi Soo, a third-generation chaebol heir who uses his wealth and connections like cheat codes. Jung Eun Chae will join the cast as veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new partner.

The teaser opens with Jin Yi Soo confidently saying, “Now, shall we begin?” Alongside Violent Crimes Unit Team 1 members Park Jun Young (Kang Sang Jun) and Choi Kyung Jin (Kim Shin Bi), with whom he has grown closer than blood relatives, he jets overseas on a luxury private plane to take down criminals.

In this season, Jin Yi Soo continues to show his wealth-driven tactics to bring criminals to justice. At a party, dressed in a tuxedo, he raises a toast and says, “Cheers.” He later says, “I’ll use the helicopter. I need to catch serial killer hunters,” and summons a helicopter. He also engages in a high-speed car chase through the city center in a foreign luxury car.

Most notably, Violent Crimes Unit Team 1 is getting a new team leader. Jin Yi Soo, while preparing a red carpet and flowers to welcome the new boss, is stunned when the new leader arrives on a motorcycle in full police uniform. The newcomer is Joo Hye Ra, a “devil instructor” from his police academy days who once made him tremble in fear. Her strong presence is shown as she throws Jin Yi Soo with a judo technique and swings a police baton with ease, echoing his time at the police academy. When Jin Yi Soo says, “This is a nightmare,” she responds, “This is reality.”

Amid this, an unknown warning arrives: “Detective Jin, let the game begins.” Joo Hye Ra’s line, “Jin Yi Soo, there is someone targeting you with the resolve that it’s okay if you die,” hints at a new crisis facing Jin Yi Soo.

In addition, chaebol Yoo Sung Won (Yoo Seung Ho) makes his first appearance, teasing the role he will play moving forward.

Ahn Bo Hyun And Jung Eun Chae’s “Flex X Cop 2” Announces Premiere Date

Upcoming SBS drama “Flex x Cop” Season 2 has shared a glimpse of its first script reading session!

“Flex x Cop 2” follows third-generation chaebol detective Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), who uses wealth and connections like cheat codes, and veteran detective Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae) as they team up to take down increasingly cunning criminals.

The script reading brought together director Kim Jae Hong, writer Kim Bada, and cast members Ahn Bo Hyun, Jung Eun Chae, Kang Sang Jun, Kim Shin Bi, Jung Ga Hee, and Kim Myung Soo.

Before the reading began, director Kim Jae Hong said, “It is deeply moving and meaningful that ‘Flex x Cop 2’ is being produced.”

Ahn Bo Hyun also shared, “I missed the set of ‘Flex x Cop.’ I will work to create an enjoyable atmosphere so that new cast members can also feel that chemistry.”

In Season 2, a key point of interest is the chemistry between Ahn Bo Hyun, who has completed police academy training and become a full-fledged detective with greater professionalism and experience, and Jung Eun Chae, who joins as the new team leader of the Kangha Police Station’s Violent Crimes Unit 1, exuding charismatic “girl-crush” energy.

In addition, original cast members Kang Sang Jun, Kim Shin Bi, Jung Ga Hee, and Kim Myung Soo complete a seamless ensemble with even stronger teamwork and solid performance experience.

The production team said, “The matured chemistry of the original members who have reunited since the previous season, along with the fresh energy brought by new faces, created perfect harmony from the very first meeting.
