Netflix has shared a new sneak peek of its upcoming series “Take Charge of My Heart”!

Based on a web novel, “Take Charge of My Heart” is an electrifying romantic comedy about a man whose artificial heart is running out of battery and a woman with the unique power to recharge him. Kim Young Kwang stars as the cool and collected chaebol heir Baek Ho Rang, while Chae Soo Bin plays the lonely screenwriter Na Bo Bae.

After being struck by lightning as a child, Na Bo Bae has electrical currents running through her body that make it impossible for her to hold someone’s hand without shocking them. However, when she crosses paths with Baek Ho Rang, she discovers that he may be the only person immune to her electric touch.

In the newly released preview from the upcoming drama, Na Bo Bae wakes up in a private hospital room and is confused to find Baek Ho Rang also lying in a hospital bed a few feet away. After unsuccessfully trying to wake him up, Na Bo Bae cautiously tests whether she can touch Baek Ho Rang’s skin without giving him an electric shock.

When Baek Ho Rang doesn’t appear to respond to her touch at all, a hopeful Na Bo Bae begins to wonder whether this means she’s finally found a man she can actually date. But just as she’s examining his face from close up, Baek Ho Rang startles her by opening his eyes. When Baek Ho Rang starts to dial the police, Na Bo Bae hurriedly stops him and attempts to explain the situation, but he repeatedly insists that she get out of his room.

Watch: Kim You Jung Steals Park Jinyoung’s Wallet During Their First Encounter In “100 Days Of Deception” Preview

tvN’s upcoming drama “100 Days of Deception” has shared a sneak peek of its premiere!

Helmed by director Yoo In Shik of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and the “Dr. Romantic” series, “100 Days of Lies” is a period spy romance set over 100 days during the Japanese occupation of Korea.

The drama will follow the story of Lee Ga Kyeong (Kim You Jung), the top pickpocket in Gyeongseong (present-day Seoul), who becomes an undercover spy for the independence movement and infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea. There, she winds up becoming entangled with interpreter Kim Tae Woong (GOT7’s Park Jinyoung), who also goes by the name Sato Hideo and is the adopted son of the Inspector-General of Korea, the second-highest-ranking official in the administration.

In the newly released preview from the drama’s first two episodes, Lee Ga Kyeong and Kim Tae Woong first cross paths when they bump into each other on a train. Initially, Lee Ga Kyeong apologizes in Japanese and Kim Tae Woong in Korean; then they awkwardly switch, with Lee Ga Kyeong now apologizing in Korean and Kim Tae Woong in Japanese.

Lee Ga Kyeong asks Kim Tae Woong if he’s Korean, and when he doesn’t reply, she quickly follows up in Japanese, “Oh, I’m sorry. [I asked] because you spoke in Korean…” She then lies that she, too, is Japanese. Kim Tae Woong gallantly picks up her hat for her, and she thanks him.

When Lee Ga Kyeong then smiles at the little girl Kim Tae Woong is carrying in his arms, the girl looks away with a standoffish expression before telling him in Japanese, “Let’s go quickly.” Lee Ga Kyeong helpfully explains that the exit on one side of the train car is blocked, so they should exit the other way, but Kim Tae Woong ignores her and heads in the direction of the blocked exit as the little girl stares at her.

Annoyed by the look in the little girl’s eyes, Lee Ga Kyeong mutters to herself in English, “What the heck? Ignoring me? Does she think she’s a princess? Yeah, if I had that heavy princess scarf around my neck, I couldn’t walk either.” After hearing her, Kim Tae Woong turns around and calls out to her, asking, “Have you never seen a photo of the princess in the newspaper?” Gesturing outside, where a crowd of people is gathered on the train platform, he goes on, “This many people are waiting to welcome her, and it never occurred to you that she might be the actual princess?”

When the shocked Lee Ga Kyeong starts hastily apologizing, he continues, “Though, of course, that’s not the case.” As he takes off, the little girl in his arms sticks her tongue out at Lee Ga Kyeong. Once she is alone, Lee Ga Kyeong exclaims in relief, “Wow, I thought [for a second] that she was really the princess,” before taking out the wallet that she has just stolen from Kim Tae Woong.

TVING’s upcoming drama “Make Me Tingle” has unveiled new stills of its supporting cast!

“Make Me Tingle” is a chaotic romantic comedy starring Nam Ji Hyun as Gong Yeon Su, a woman who believes in love but has never truly figured out what it means for her, and Kim Jae Yeong as Dokgo Dal, a sex-toy startup CEO who opens up a whole new world for her.

Kang Tae Joo plays Yoon Ji Oh, the vice CEO of the sex-toy startup, which he runs alongside Dokgo Dal. Friendly, warm, and playful, Yoon Ji Oh is someone who easily gets along with everyone. However, things change after he meets marketer Gong Yeon Su through business and develops feelings for her. He soon finds himself in an unexpected rivalry with his longtime friend Dokgo Dal over Gong Yeon Su.

Park So Jin plays Jin Se Ra, the CEO of SR Planning, where Gong Yeon Su works. As Gong Yeon Su’s senior from college and boss at work, Jin Se Ra has a relatively open-minded attitude toward dating and relationships. She sees taking a break from dating as separate from putting a stop to meeting people altogether, making her views on romance markedly different from Gong Yeon Su’s more conservative outlook.

When Gong Yeon Su becomes confused after meeting Dokgo Dal, Jin Se Ra offers practical advice based on her own experiences and serves as a reliable source of support. With their contrasting views on love and relationships, curiosity is building over the conversations they will share and how Jin Se Ra influences Gong Yeon Su’s choices.

Jeong In Ji plays Gong Mi Young, Gong Yeon Su’s aunt. After being pressured by those around her into getting married, Gong Mi Young eventually went through a divorce. She has a close, friend-like relationship with her niece, with the two freely sharing their thoughts and feelings.

Wanting Gong Yeon Su, who may be heading down a similar path, to avoid repeating her mistakes, Gong Mi Young offers her heartfelt advice as someone who has already experienced life firsthand. Watching her niece’s choices more closely than anyone else, she is expected to add a realistic perspective and emotional depth to the story.

Woo Mi Hwa plays Gong Yeon Su’s mother, Seo Baek Hee, bringing warm maternal affection to the drama. After losing her husband to illness 12 years ago, Seo Baek Hee devoted herself to caring for her in-laws while raising her eldest daughter Gong Yeon Su on her own. Having watched her daughter grow into a kind and upright young woman despite growing up without her father, Seo Baek Hee remains deeply devoted to her and unwaveringly supports the choices she makes in life.

Kim Hyun Joo And Bae Hyeon Seong Convey Complex Emotions In New Film “Paradise Lost” Posters

Upcoming film “Paradise Lost” has unveiled new posters!

“Paradise Lost” is a thriller that follows Sun Woo (Bae Hyeon Seong), a son who returns home after being missing for nine years. While he was gone, his mother So Young (Kim Hyun Joo) had been soothing her pain by interacting with a childhood version of her son through an artificial intelligence (AI) program. However, she begins to feel uneasy around the “new” Sun Woo, leading to an uncomfortable cohabitation between mother and son.

The newly released posters feature the faces of the two central characters front and center, capturing the depth of the characters.

Ryu So Young’s poster immediately draws attention with her direct gaze. The nine years she has spent trapped in the image of the son she once loved are condensed into a single expression.

The tagline, “No matter what you’ve done, you’re still my son,” reveals a mother’s determination to hold on to her son no matter what he has become, while So Young’s expression evokes a sense of tension.

Ryu Sun Woo’s poster piques curiosity with an inscrutable expression that makes it difficult to read his true feelings. His messy hair and weary appearance, coupled with his emotionless expression, make it impossible to even begin to guess what happened during the nine-year gap.

The tagline, “You wouldn’t be able to accept a son who has become a monster like this, would you?” further raises questions about the secrets behind the son who calls himself a monster.

Kim Young Kwang And Chae Soo Bin Go On A Romantic Date In “Take Charge Of My Heart”

Netflix’s upcoming drama “Take Charge of My Heart” has unveiled new stills!

Based on a web novel, “Take Charge of My Heart” is an electrifying romantic comedy about a man whose artificial heart is running out of battery and a woman with the unique power to recharge him. Kim Young Kwang stars as the cool and collected Baek Ho Rang, while Chae Soo Bin plays the lovely Na Bo Bae.

The newly released stills capture heart-fluttering moments between Baek Ho Rang and Na Bo Bae. The close proximity between the two characters—who have no choice but to rely on each other to recharge—is particularly eye-catching.

Just as the battery charges the closer they get, the “romance gauge” between the two also rises. Baek Ho Rang gazes at Na Bo Bae intently, while Bo Bae looks at him with a smile and an excited expression on her face.

The stills also depict the two characters on a date. From Baek Ho Rang effortlessly lifting Na Bo Bae into his arms to a birthday party they celebrate together and a theme park date where they fulfill their romantic fantasies, the images hint at plenty of heart-fluttering moments in store for viewers.

Director Park Soo Won, who helmed the series, remarked, “The key highlight is the emotional journey of Baek Ho Rang and Na Bo Bae as they go through an intense period of denying their feelings for one another,” adding, “The core concept is their unique relationship, in which Baek Ho Rang loses power when they are apart and recharges when they are together.”

She continued, “For Baek Ho Rang, whose artificial heart battery is running out, he must stick close to his human power bank, Na Bo Bae, whether he likes it or not. The fact that, despite being a third-generation chaebol, he must become the ‘subordinate’ when it comes to recharging will be a fun highlight of the drama.”

The director also urged viewers to look forward to the romantic chemistry that will grow stronger with each episode.

“Take Charge of My Heart” will premiere via Netflix on October 9.

Watch: Kim Ji Won Threatens Status Quo At A Corrupt Hospital In “Doctor X” Preview

SBS’s upcoming drama “Doctor X” has shared a sneak peek of its first episode!

Based on the hit Japanese series of the same name, “Doctor X” is a medical noir drama starring Kim Ji Won as Gye Soo Jung, a genius surgeon who proves what it truly means to be a doctor through pure skill alone as she “operates” on a corruption-ridden establishment.

The newly released preview of the drama’s premiere begins with Gye Soo Jung entering the operating room. Later, surgical intern Park Tae Kyung (Kim Woo Seok) happens to meet her outside the hospital and asks for her name, to which she responds by making a large “X” sign with her finger.

After arriving at Guseo University Hospital, Gye Soo Jung remains bold and fearless inside the hospital as well. Standing in the auditorium where the medical staff is gathered, Gye Soo Jung asks challengingly about a case, “Why are you performing a laparotomy [on this patient]?” Later, she defiantly tells someone, “I absolutely won’t do any of that.”

Troubled by this daring newcomer who is threatening the status quo, the other doctors at the hospital worry, “This person could shake the foundations of everything [we’re doing].” Meanwhile, one scene shows Park Tae Kyung left alone in the operating room and yelling, “What are we supposed to do if you all leave? There’s no one here!” On the other hand, Boo Seung Kwon (Son Hyun Joo), the director of the hospital, says dismissively, “It’s just a tail that can be cut.”

The preview ends with Jang Hee Sook (Lee Jung Eun), the head of the medical staffing agency that has sent Gye Soo Jung to the hospital, describing her as “the top ace of our agency.”

Watch: Kim You Jung, Park Jinyoung, And More Hide Their True Faces Behind Lies In “100 Days Of Deception”

tvN’s upcoming drama “100 Days of Deception” has released new motion posters for its main characters!

The new motion posters introduce five characters from the drama, each of whom is hiding their true face behind a lie. First up is Lee Ga Kyeong, who has infiltrated the Japanese Government-General of Korea under the false identity of “Geum Seo Hee.” As her mask comes off and her cheerful smile fades into a nervous expression, the poster’s caption reads, “It was a 100-day lie. Until it became the truth.”

Next is Sato Hideo, who had been perfectly inhabiting the role of Sato Shinichi (Jin Sun Kyu)’s adopted son before meeting Lee Ga Kyeong and being thrown into turmoil. His poster’s caption hints at the complicated relationship that will develop between him and Lee Ga Kyeong, reading, “Even though I knew it was a lie, I kept finding myself wanting to believe it.”

Kim Hyun Joo will play Yoo So Ran, the woman approaches Lee Ga Kyeong with a dangerous proposal. In her poster, Yoo So Ran goes from resting a hand on her belly to glaring at the camera with an expression of sorrow mixed with anger. The caption hints at how she draws Lee Ga Kyeong into her plot for revenge, reading, “Become our spy. I’m proposing a deal.”

Lee Moo Saeng will play journalist Yoo Philip (Lee Moo Saeng), a man who fights with his pen instead of a gun. His poster’s caption intriguingly reads, “If you keep doubting [me], I’ll have no choice but to write an article about today’s incident.”

Finally, Jin Sun Kyu wil play Sato Shinichi, the Inspector-General of Korea and Sato Hideo’s adopted father. In his poster, he wears a cynical expression as he asks challengingly, “Do you think killing me will be enough for [Korea] to achieve independence?”

Kim Kang Woo plays Kim Chun Chu, a shrewd strategist with exceptional diplomatic skills and political savvy. As the grandson of the deposed King Jinji, Kim Chun Chu has long faced opposition from the sacred-bone aristocracy. When Silla falls into a desperate crisis after Daeya Fortress is captured by Baekje, he steps into the political arena in earnest.

Kim Chun Chu’s guiding belief is, “Survival in the present is victory in the future.” Rather than simply weathering the immediate crisis, he seeks to secure Silla’s survival on his own terms, gradually expanding his influence through sharp judgment and a bold, risk-taking nature.

Eventually, Kim Chun Chu becomes the first person from the true-bone class to ascend the throne, becoming King Taejong Muyeol, Silla’s 29th king. From a politician fighting to keep his country alive, he grows into a leader with a far greater ambition: the unification of the Three Kingdoms. His journey toward this monumental goal will form a central part of “The Great King Munmu.”

The newly released stills capture Kim Chun Chu’s fierce gaze and commanding presence, reflecting his unwavering determination to overcome the turmoil of his era.
