Chen, Baekhyun, And Xiumin Reportedly Notify INB100 Of Contract Termination

Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin have reportedly moved to terminate their contracts with INB100.

On April 10, THE FACT reported that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin sent a formal notice in late March to INB100 CEO Cha Ga Won, informing her of their intent to terminate their exclusive contracts while requesting clarification regarding unpaid settlements and other alleged contract violations. Despite allowing an additional two weeks for a response, the trio reportedly did not receive a satisfactory explanation and ultimately decided to proceed with the termination.

In response to the report, Cha Ga Won’s side stated, “We are working to normalize the company. We will do our best to resolve the situation, whether through additional investment or by using personal funds.”

INB100 is a company Baekhyun established while preparing to become independent from SM Entertainment. In May 2024, it was incorporated as a subsidiary of ONE HUNDRED, a company founded by Cha Ga Won and MC Mong. Cha Ga Won later became the largest shareholder, overseeing INB100 alongside ONE HUNDRED and Big Planet Made Entertainment.

Prior to Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, several artists under Cha Ga Won—including nine members of THE BOYZ from ONE HUNDRED, as well as Taemin, Lee Mujin, BE’O, VIVIZ, and Lee Seung Gi from Big Planet Made Entertainment—had also notified the company of their contract terminations.

Cha Ga Won is currently facing three fraud allegations. She is suspected of signing contracts involving the use of her artists’ intellectual property and receiving large advance payments without carrying out the related business. Police are reportedly consolidating the cases and continuing their investigation.

AB6IX Announces Hiatus From Group Activities + In Talks Regarding Contract Renewals

AB6IX has announced the end of their exclusive contracts, signaling a temporary hiatus from group activities.

On April 10, the group’s agency BRANDNEW MUSIC released an official statement via their official social media account, announcing, “The exclusive contracts with AB6IX, who has been together with our agency since their debut on May 22, 2019, will come to an end as of May 25.”

Since their debut on May 22, 2019, AB6IX has been with our company, and their exclusive contracts are set to expire on May 25. Accordingly, after thorough discussions with the members, AB6IX will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities following the 2026 AB6IX Concert “6IX TO SEVEN,” which will be held over two days on May 23 and 24.

We are currently engaged in in-depth discussions with the members regarding contract renewals, and we will fully respect and support each member’s decision as they stand at a new turning point in their careers.

HyunA Parts Ways With Agency

Singer HyunA is leaving her agency AT AREA.

On the morning of April 10, AT AREA released an official statement announcing that the agency and HyunA have mutually agreed to end their exclusive contract.

After in-depth discussions with HyunA regarding her future activities, we have mutually agreed to end her exclusive contract.

HyunA first debuted in 2007 as a member of Wonder Girls and then as a member of 4Minute in 2009. She has also been active as a solo artist since 2010.

HyunA joined AT AREA in 2023 and has promoted with the company since then. After two and a half years, she is ending her exclusive contract and bringing their partnership to a close. In October 2024, she married Yong Junhyung.
