Jung Woo, Krystal, Shin Seung Ho, And More Bring Unique Personalities To Life In “Audition 109” Posters

“Audition 109” has unveiled new character posters ahead of its release!

A sequel to Jung Woo’s representative film “Wish,” “Audition 109” follows Jjanggu (Jung Woo), who leaves Busan for Seoul to chase his dream of becoming an actor. Despite struggling to make ends meet and facing repeated rejection, he refuses to give up, returning to audition rooms time and again.

In his poster, Jjanggu, who dreams of becoming an actor, is seen staring straight ahead with his cap pulled low. His calm yet unwavering gaze reflects the persistence of youth that continues to rise again despite repeated failures, conveying his determination to endure in the unfamiliar city of Seoul.

Meanwhile, Min Hee (Krystal) fixes her gaze on someone with a calm expression. However, her hard-to-read eyes and distant demeanor reveal complex emotions, caught between drawing closer and pulling away.

Jang Jae (Shin Seung Ho) appears slightly flustered, his momentary honesty contrasting with his usual bravado, highlighting his down-to-earth charm as Jjanggu’s close friend.

In contrast, Joon Sang (Hyun Bong Sik) wears a relaxed smile, looking down at someone with composure. His polished suit and confident posture emphasize his position as a rival to Jjanggu.

Kkangnaengi (Jo Beom Gyu) fills the frame with wide, startled eyes, his exaggerated expressions and unpredictable reactions hinting at the humorous situations he will encounter while adapting to life in Seoul.

Lastly, Soo Young (Kwon So Hyun) looks off to the side, hinting at layered emotions. Her calm yet steady gaze suggests a grounded, clear-headed perspective, positioning her as a character who will bring balance to the narrative.

“Mad Concrete Dreams” is a thriller drama starring Ha Jung Woo as Ki Su Jong, a struggling landlord who gets caught up in crime to protect his family and property. Despite achieving the coveted status of a landlord, mounting debts lead him to become entangled in a staged kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns dangerously real.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Ki Su Jong and Kim Seon (Im Soo Jung) face an unprecedented crisis as a fire breaks out at the Seyoon Building. With flames engulfing the building and soaring all the way up to the roof, the couple needs to escape right away—but because their daughter is being held captive by an out-of-control Jeon Yi Gyeong (Krystal), they are unable to leave.

Amidst the dangerous emergency situation unfolding at the building, Ki Su Jong and Kim Seon confront an increasingly unhinged Jeon Yi Gyeong, who appears to have lost it entirely, on the rooftop. The knowledge that Ki Su Jong and Kim Seon deceived her up until the very end only infuriates Jeon Yi Gyeong further, driving her to make an extreme choice.

Although Kim Seon frantically tries to calm down the enraged Jeon Yi Gyeong, it remains unclear whether she will be able to put an end to her rampage.

Jeon Yi Kyung (Krystal) has suffered more than anyone else. First, she was kidnapped by her husband, Min Hwal Seong (Kim Jun Han), who was after her mother’s money. Then, she learned that her trusted friend, Kim Seon (Lim Soo Jung), was her husband’s affair partner, leaving her reeling with betrayal. Determined to make them feel the pain she endured, she chose a path of revenge: kidnapping Kim Seon’s most precious person, her daughter Ki Da Rae (Park Seo Kyung).

Jeon Yi Kyung’s desire for revenge was fueled even more by Ki Su Jong’s lies. To cover up his role in helping Min Hwal Seong with the kidnapping, Ki Su Jong told Jeon Yi Kyung a cowardly lie that his wife, Kim Seon, was the accomplice. How and when this lie will be revealed, and how it will shake the story, remains to be seen.

In the upcoming episode, Ki Su Jong and Kim Seon kneel before Jeon Yi Kyung, apologizing to save their daughter.

Although both are kneeling, their intentions could not be more different. Kim Seon pleads desperately for forgiveness from Jeon Yi Kyung, clinging to the hope of protecting her daughter. Meanwhile, Ki Su Jong, who deceived Jeon Yi Kyung, hides his lies and frantically tries to manage the situation to bring his daughter, Da Rae, home safely. His troubled expression raises questions about his true intentions and how his choices might set off unpredictable events.

At the same time, Jeon Yi Kyung’s transformation, leaving behind her once-innocent self, draws attention to her path of revenge. Once a victim, she crosses the line and becomes a perpetrator by carrying out the kidnapping, walking a line filled with both pity and malice.
