After 14 years, Song Hye Kyo has parted ways with her longtime agency UAA (United Artists Agency).

On the morning of June 26, UAA officially announced, “Our exclusive contract with Song Hye Kyo recently expired. After trusting one another and working together for a long time, UAA and Song Hye Kyo decided to end our journey here and root for one another’s futures.”

“During her long time UAA, actress Song Hye Kyo received a great deal of love not only within Korea but also across Asia and the entire world,” continued the agency. “The time we spent together with her will remain as a happy and joyful memory.”

UAA concluded, “We ask that the fans give Song Hye Kyo, who is now standing at a new starting line, your warm interest, support, and love.”

Oh Jung Se In Talks For New Film Reportedly Starring Han Ji Min And Koo Kyo Hwan

Oh Jung Se may be reuniting with his “We Are All Trying Here” co-star Koo Kyo Hwan in a new movie!

On June 11, Oh Jung Se’s agency Prain TPC officially announced, “Oh Jung Se Has received a casting offer for the film ‘Typhoon’ [literal translation] and is currently reviewing it with a favorable outlook.”

Helmed by director Lee Jung Ho, “Typhoon” tells the story of a married couple who declare their plans to divorce at a funeral—only to embark on an unexpected journey for survival together after getting caught up in a deadly typhoon. The film will capture the journey of two people who believed they knew each other best as they confront the true nature of their relationship amidst the unfolding disaster.

Although their casting has not yet been confirmed, Han Ji Min and Koo Kyo Hwan have been reported to be playing the leading roles of Jae Yi and Jin Mo.

Notably, Oh Jung Se and Koo Kyo Hwan recently starred together in the JTBC drama “We Are All Trying Here.”

Helmed by “Train to Busan” and “Peninsula” director Yeon Sang Ho, “Colony” tells the story of survivors trapped in a building that has been blockaded due to an unknown virus as those infected evolve into unpredictable forms.

The stills show the actors deeply focused on filming, along with the warm and friendly atmosphere on set. Jun Ji Hyun, who looks serious while monitoring a scene, delivered both subtle emotional acting and strong action sequences with precision.

Koo Kyo Hwan is shown staying in character while waiting to film. In other moments, he reveals a charming duality by displaying a playful side and smiling as he lifts his blindfold.

Ji Chang Wook heightens the tension in the latter half of the film as his character subdues the infected with an unwavering gaze and shifts the direction of the story.

The upcoming Episode 9 will depict Hwang Dong Man finally landing the opportunity of a lifetime—his long-awaited directorial debut—after spending years dreaming of brighter days amid overwhelming feelings of worthlessness.

The newly released stills capture the pivotal moment when Hwang Dong Man visits the Film Promotion Association alongside Go Bak Film CEO Go Hye Jin (Kang Mal Geum) to sign his contract. Previously, Go Hye Jin boldly cut ties with the greed-driven Choi Dong Hyun (Choi Won Young) and Ma Jae Young (Kim Jong Hoon), choosing Hwang Dong Man’s screenplay “We Create the Weather For You” despite the risk of losing billions of won.

For Hwang Dong Man, who spent years alone in his room repeatedly practicing imaginary acceptance speeches for Best New Director awards, the selection of his script marks the beginning of his “fantasy” finally becoming reality. However, the “real ring” proves far from easy. His visibly tense expression in the stills sharply contrasts with Go Hye Jin’s steady and commanding gaze, hinting at the turbulent production journey ahead.

One of the key points to watch will be whether Hwang Dong Man—once merely a loud critic—can successfully lead over 200 difficult cast and crew members as a first-time director. The upcoming film “Gardeners” has officially kicked off filming!

“Gardeners” tells the story of Choi Young Il (Song Kang Ho), a plant-loving civil servant whose only hobby is growing plants. When he joins forces with a local troublemaker to launch an unusual gardening business, their once-quiet neighborhood spirals into unexpected chaos.

Ahead of filming, director Nam Dong Hyup gathered with an impressive cast including Song Kang Ho, Koo Kyo Hwan, Song Seung Heon, Lee Kwang Soo, Shin Hyun Been, Kim Byung Chul, Park Ju Hyun, Lee Ji Hyun, Kim Sung Kyun, Woo Hyun, Im Won Hee, and Lee Jae In. Despite it being their first time working together, the actors displayed seamless chemistry and lively banter during the reading, raising anticipation for a one-of-a-kind comedy film.

Song Kang Ho stars as Choi Young Il, a diligent civil servant with a magical touch for reviving dying plants. Starring opposite him, Koo Kyo Hwan plays Kim Moon Ho, the neighborhood’s biggest troublemaker who causes chaos wherever he goes.

On April 27, the film’s distributor announced, “‘Colony’ has confirmed an IMAX release,” and released the film’s signature key art.

Helmed by “Train to Busan” and “Peninsula” director Yeon Sang Ho, “Colony” follows the story that unfolds as a building is blockaded due to an unknown virus as those infected evolve into unpredictable forms, threatening the survivors. The film has been officially invited to the Midnight Screenings section of the 79th Cannes International Film Festival, earning critical acclaim prior to its premiere.

The film will showcase its large scale, spectacular events and tense suspense through IMAX’s giant screen and powerful sound, vividly portraying the struggle between the infected and survivors. It is expected to deliver an immersive experience, making viewers feel as if they are inside the sealed building.

The newly released poster symbolically depicts the infection crisis. It shows infected individuals reaching toward survivors as they form a massive, colony-like structure, strongly conveying the emergence of a new species.

Beneath the infected are six individuals. At the center, survivor leader Kwon Se Jung (Jun Ji Hyun) stands with a determined expression. Seo Young Cheol (Koo Kyo Hwan) looks up at the infected with a detached gaze, suggesting he is a key figure at the center of the crisis.

The video also highlights what sets the film apart. Kim Shin Rok mentions the apocalyptic thrill created by focusing on infected beings that differ from traditional zombie tropes.
