JYP Label Girl Group OURBIRTHDAY Reveals First 3 Members

JYP Entertainment subsidiary INNIT ENTERTAINMENT is gearing up to debut a new girl group!

OURBIRTHDAY is a seven-member girl group, and the first three members were revealed with a teaser clip titled “ERROR 502: Bad Gateway”:

Cho Hyejin, who won the audition program “THE DDANDDARA” last year, as well as Baby and Achiraya have been announced as the first three members. They will be releasing the digital single “HUNGRY (Side A)” on July 22 at 6 p.m. KST.

On June 23, Mark came under fire when his newly established label Upper Room posted photos of him wearing a T-shirt with the Confederate flag on it.

Sandara Park, formerly of the group 2NE1, is gearing up for her comeback!

On June 8, Sandara Park’s new agency ARADNAS announced, “Sandara Park is making a new beginning with her own label ARADNAS. She will release a new single album titled ‘rePRISM’ on June 20. Starting with this, she plans to continue various activities, including festivals, fan concerts, and an Asia fan concert tour.”

Mark Establishes New Label + Launches Official Social Media Channels

Former NCT member Mark has announced a new beginning with the launch of his own label!

On June 4, Upper Room announced, “Mark has officially launched the creative company Upper Room, which will serve as the starting point for his music, creative vision, and the various projects he will pursue in the future.”

Founded by Mark alongside longtime colleagues with whom he has built trust over the years, Upper Room is a creative company centered on music with plans to organically connect various content fields—including video, visual art, and performance—to further expand Mark’s creative world in a multidimensional way.

The name “Upper Room” represents more than just a physical space—it symbolizes a place where people with shared goals and ideas can come together, exchange inspiration, and explore new possibilities.

To mark the launch, Upper Room unveiled a series of announcement films through its official social media accounts.

According to the company, the announcement film was inspired by the era of 15th-century movable-type printing. Designed to highlight the value of human creativity and craftsmanship in an age of rapidly advancing technology, the film was created entirely without the use of AI-generated imagery, with every visual produced by hand to reflect the message and vision behind Upper Room.

HYBE’s new label ABD has unveiled the first glimpse of its upcoming girl group!

On May 26, the newly launched HYBE label opened its official website and social media channels, releasing six short films that introduce ABD’s creative identity. The videos also offered a first look at some members of the label’s upcoming girl group, which is set to debut later this year.

The short films highlight ABD’s motto, “the pure joy of music,” through playful and stylish visuals. In the videos, three girls wearing shoes marked with the letters “A,” “B,” and “D” dance freely and energetically, while the “ABD” logo appears like footprints with every step, sparking curiosity about the new group.

ABD’s official website further reflects the label’s creative philosophy of “imagining D instead of C after A and B,” emphasizing a free-spirited and unconventional approach. Featuring animated illustrated cursors, brightly colored interactive backgrounds, and mini-games such as balloon-popping activities, the site delivers an immersive experience for visitors.

Established earlier this month as part of HYBE’s multi-label strategy, ABD is a specialized label focused on producing and developing girl groups. The label’s name comes from its slogan, “A Bold Dream.”

HYBE Launches New Label ABD For Girl Group That Will Debut This Year

HYBE has established a brand-new label and is planning to debut a new girl group this year!

On May 8, HYBE announced that it was launching a new label called “ABD” specializing in the production of girl groups.

“ABD,” which stands for “A Bold Dream,” represents the “pursuit of a creative approach characterized by a flexible and lighthearted way of thinking that imagines ‘D,’ rather than ‘C,’ coming after ‘A’ and ‘B.’”

The label will be headed by CEO No Ji Won, who previously served as the Head of Artist Planning at PLEDIS Entertainment.

“ABD was established as part of HYBE’s multi-label strategy, which strengthens each label’s expertise and autonomy,” stated HYBE. “With an organization and creative team tailored for girl group production at its center, [ABD] will position itself as a label specializing in girl groups with unique and distinctive intellectual property (IP). Our goal is to expand into a new territory for K-pop by pursuing the inherent joy of music while also building upon a deep understanding of fans and artists.”

ABD will debut its first girl group in the second half of 2026. Han Sung Soo, who is known for producing groups like SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE, and TWS, will serve as the group’s executive producer and oversee their music, concept, and performances.

“The establishment of ABD is a strategic move to secure IP diversity and upgrade our K-pop production capabilities,” sad HYBE. “Through this new girl group, we will introduce new musical experiments and concepts, and we will bring a refreshing change to the global music market.”
