May Singer Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for singers!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from April 23 to May 23.
BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 7,132,535 for May.
Lim Young Woong also maintained his position at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,390,625 for the month.
CORTIS shot to third place after seeing a 132.43 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score to 4,313,084.
HANRORO took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,861,706, marking a 68.57 percent rise in her score since last month.
Finally, IVE came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 2,739,078 for May.

LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon will be taking a break from upcoming scheduled activities due to her health.

Kim Chaewon recently received hospital treatment for neck pain and has been advised by the medical team to rest for a certain period and monitor her recovery.
We place the highest priority on the health and safety of our artist. Based on medical advice and her overall health, we have decided that she requires sufficient rest to ensure a safe return to her activities.
Therefore, she will unfortunately be unable to participate in previously announced events, including university festivals, Spotify PURE FLOWERS LIVE, and music shows. We ask for your kind understanding.

Monthly Album Chart
TXT achieved a double crown on this month’s Circle charts, topping both the overall physical album chart and the digital download chart for April.
All of the top five spots on this month’s chart went to new releases, led by TXT’s latest mini album “7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns,” which debuted at No. 1.
NCT WISH’s “Ode to Love” entered the chart at No. 2, &TEAM’s “We on Fire” at No. 3, TWS’s “NO TRAGEDY” at No. 4, and PLAVE’s “Caligo Pt.2” at No. 5.
Weekly Album Chart
TWS topped the weekly physical album chart with their new mini album “NO TRAGEDY,” while ILLIT’s “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI” entered the chart at No. 2.

Get ready for a fun episode of “Amazing Saturday” featuring members of NMIXX and LE SSERAFIM!
On May 9, the popular tvN variety show aired a sneak peek of next week’s episode, which will feature NMIXX’s Haewon and Bae, along with LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon and Kazuha, as guests.
In what marks their first guest appearance on “Amazing Saturday,” Haewon and Bae impress the cast with their Romeo and Juliet costumes, along with their lyric-guessing skills. Soon enough, Haewon playfully teases DAY6’s Young K by joking that she’s going to take his spot on the show, leading Young K to exclaim with a laugh, “It hasn’t been that long since I joined!”
Meanwhile, Kim Chaewon and Kazuha show off their heartwarming friendship as they adorably make plans to share their snacks. Later, Kim Dong Hyun offers to help them out during the games, but the cast calls him out for ultimately not being of any help to the idols.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from April 10 to May 10.
IVE continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 4,663,701. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “BANG BANG,” “ARCH-IVE,” and “world tour,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “prove,” “charming,” and “sold out.” IVE’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.41 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 3,944,164.
ILLIT shot to third place after seeing a whopping 286.80 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April, bringing their total score to 3,351,051 for the month.
LE SSERAFIM took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,922,334, marking a 28.54 percent rise in their score since last month.
Finally, TWICE came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 2,718,410, marking a 31.20 percent increase in their score since April.

On May 6 at midnight KST, LE SSERAFIM released a detailed promotion schedule outlining the teasers they have in store for their upcoming full-length album “PUREFLOW” pt.1 and its title track “BOOMPALA.”

High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “Goyang concert,” and “Billboard,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “overwhelming,” “perform,” and “gather.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.41 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, IVE rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 6,363,816.
Wanna One shot to third place with a brand reputation index of 4,960,223, marking a whopping 171.87 percent increase in their score since last month.
BLACKPINK took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,463,584, while SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five with a score of 3,716,301.
